  1. See the attendances for yesterday and today were 1,800 and 2,300. And Stefan is still in touching distance of that last qualifying place Running totals from isracing.net D Khomitsevich 20p V Khomitsevich 19p P Serenius 19p I Drozdov 16p A Klatovsky 14p A Aakko 13p S Pletschacher 12p P Koij 11p J Klatovsky 10p R Stellingwerf 9p J Söderström 8p S Gartmann 5p J Weber 5p J Seppänen 4p J Saetre 2p C Kirchner 0p
  2. Yes i can imagine.Plus my question about track size was also answered in that the track is (i think)480m,which in Europe would make it a longtrack rather than speedway track. So i can understand the worries now.And i had no idea at what time the meetings was run there nor what the temps were
  3. Stefan Pletschacher doing well and with a good chance in his last heat. Can at least go into tomorrow with hope of getting that last place. Will please Roland Haupt and the Pletschacher fan club
  4. update d komichevitch 12p v komichevitch 11 p drosdov 10p posa 10p koij 7p a klatovsky 7p aakko 6p pletshacher 6p j klatovsky 6p Stellingwerf 5p Jocke söderström 5p weber 4p gartman 3p Säppänen 2p Jo Satre 1p Kirchner 0 p So Jan has dropped back a bit Pretty tight for that last spot
  5. Ok Thanks.I wasn't looking at the heat details.Just imagined he would be on 6 Jan Klatovsky presumably had two easy heats or is he riding out of his skin?
  6. After 8 heats from isracing.net d komichevitch 6p j klatovsky 6p a klatovsky 5p dorsdov 5p posa 4p koij 3p gartman 3p weber 3p aakko 2p pletshacher 2 Jocke söderström 1p Jo Satre 1p Stellingwerf 1p Säppänen 0p Kirchner 0 p Guess Vitali also has 6 points.But did Aakko fall in one heat?
  7. That is what i thought.Just wondered if there was anything else Same here and about +10
  8. Anyone know how many qualify from Stockholm?I am guessing it is 5 plus 5 from Saalfelden and then 6 from Inzell. But that is just a guess. With 3 Russians it is going to be very tight what with Posa,Aakko and Klabo.A repeat of Saransk last year with those 3 fighting it out. And anyone know if there will be live updates?
  9. It really was a genuine enquiry.I thought maybe they rode on oversized tracks(to Europes specs) maybe I mean like i say my local track is just under 400m and a bit further away is a track of about 450m but that is classed as a longtrack so they ride with different bikes there.
  10. You were mentioning being worried about running out of dope and talk of the size of the track.I just mentioned that in Poland and here in Germany(my local track is about 393m)they have tracks the same size(i would imagine).Plus it can get pretty damn hot here in Europe too ya know
  11. How big though?Surely regs require it to be under 400m don't they? And these riders(some of them at least)ride in Poland where some of the tracks are just under that.
  12. I thought they disappeared at most football grounds long before the all seater stadiums came in Wouldn't have thought that had much to do with it given the way they seemed to do business.Always remember them at the front of the terraces throwing bags into the crowd and the people throwing the money back.My guess would be they found it harder to get their money thrown back at them or people went off monkey nuts .Nowadays with all seater stadiums it would be easier to walk around and sell stuff. Here in Hamburg we have people walking through the all seater stadium selling food and drink.Last time i was at the HSV stadium there were even people walking around selling Sushi!
  13. It is an interesting situation f-s-p.Quite similar to the German one.The lack of riders(or at least riders of a certain level)can cause problems with a league. That is and was the problem with the restrictions on foreign riders. When a top German rider is injured there is just no way to replace him. Then like you say there will be some tracks that might be willing to run 5 meetings per year but others only feel able to host 1 or 2.In my opinion this idea of 1 or 2 meetings holds the sport back a bit.The meeting in dragged out so long,as like you mention they want to sell as much food and drink as possible and get all the people going round to all the other stalls to buy souvenirs and stuff. The Danish clubs took the leap(although i think some had to be dragged) into running a proper league and it seems to have payed off.The attendances held up quite good.Even on nights when a couple of clubs were running meetings.Still think also that Danish clubs are lagging way behind in their merchandising ideas.Holsted obviously has a Nicki P shop when he is riding but there are very few Holsted souvenirs to buy and not of a great quality. And from what i have seen they are the best track.German tracks are by and large worse. At least in the Bundesliga they have separated the U19 riders and given them their own heats. In 2006 the gaps between the riders was terrible. But there does still seem to be apredictability with these heats. In most meetings last year i think the 4 U19 heats has the exact same 1st-2nd-3rd-4th
  14. Here is their site Malmö Can't see any fixtures on there yet though
  15. You might be more lucky with a meeting in Malmö Just a bus ride from the train station and 10 minute walk
  16. I don't think the fixtures are out yet Jo.They normally come out pretty late as they really have to wait for the British fixtures so they can avoid clashing. But like Peter S said last year it doesn't pay to run a meeting on the sunday as all the riders are in Poland.Or most of them. You might be lucky though with an 80cc meeting
  17. No-one from Denmark answered your question f-s-p. Anyway,Denmark are doing another couple of days training/bonding in Britain.03.03,Coventry and 04.03 at Stoke. Plus the 80cc elite squad looks like this, with some super talent there Mikkel B Jensen Mikkel Michelsen Lasse Bjerre Niklas Porsing Simon Fischer Kasper Lykke Nielsen Marc Randrup Michael Jepsen Jensen Rasmus Jensen Nikolaj Jakobsen
  18. And a good tv piece on Posa Serenius Posa
  19. It did surprise me as well.Maybe they are the only riders who wanted to go to Poland for this???????? Both in the Ufa junior team. But i would have thought Baltachev would be a better choice.Maybe someone else knows?Weter?
  20. And other nominations have been made for the Russian riders Team Championship,Krasnogorsk 16/17.02 V.Khomitsevich S.Arkhipov N.Krasnikov Euro Semi,Sanok26.01 I.Kononov R.Akimenko Euro Final,Sanok27.01 N.Ryabokon N.Alekseyev
  21. Great fotos weter.I see it is hard to get N.Krasnikov to smile even at his home track Does he talk much?He seems very quiet.Do you know how many people were there?
  22. Think you're right Conkers.Only one of my riders even qualified Pity about Bulankin as he was involved in some good heats and what a fantastic bit of skill to get back on the bike when all looked lost Some great heats there.Really is a tough meeting with so many good riders
  23. Bryn involved in the blue mag trade? Think about my journey home on my pushbike all the way back to Tooting Still it was closer than Rye House or Arena. And i did cycle to and from eastbourne a few times when the weather was good
