  1. Looking at it with the previous pic together,i'd say definitely under control. Showboating in front of his home crowd
  2. Funny thing is the thread was going nowhere until you bring it back up
  3. Result of the Indoor meeting in Schwerin 1.T.Piszcz(PL) 2.D.Rath 3.T.Busch 4.R.Weis 5.S.Petersen 6.J.Kristiansen(DK) 7.T.Aarnio(FIN) 8.P.J.Larsen(DK) 9.S.Katt 10.M.Nowacycz(PL) 11.S.Colvin(GB) 12.M.Jader(PL) A crowd of 1,200 which the promoter says is too low to justify further meetings. So the future of these indoor meetings is in question. What with Neustadt/Dosse only getting a 1,000 fans last week and that meeting marking the end of their 5 year contract.Fact is though two meetings straight after each other and with basically the same line-up,maybe fans ain't being fooled. At the start, the first couple of years at Neustadt the line-ups were pretty attractive but gradually they are being filled with run of the mill riders. The two day meeting in Kiel is still planned for next year and the line-up should be good.Just hope they manage to make a decent safe track and that the speedway part of the programme is presented in a similar way to the freestyle MotoX. And that about wraps up the German speedway year
  4. Great photos Weter. How many fans were at the meeting? And do you knwo if any meetings will be live on the internet this season, like the World Championship meetings from Ufa last season?
  5. What temperatures have you in Finland then? Just look at the highest mountain in North Germany and it has 53cm of snow and temperature at the moment -8° Brocken We have +1° in Hamburg
  6. Not really worth much though is it.I mean i guess the way it is done is to tot each riders world ranking points up.Plus i guess the best possible team is chosen rather than the most often used team.Look at Slangerup.Much better than Danish Champions Holsted for instance!Plus look at the National teams and Australia are top rather than the team most feel is the best,Denmark who are third. Not very keen on these things as you might guess
  7. Results from Östersund Swedish World Championship quali from www.isracing.net Stefan Svensson 15 P-A Lindström 14 Posa Serenius 12 Tobbe Åström 11 Johan Lundkvist 10 Jocke Söderström 10 Peter Koij 10 Hans-Olov Olsén 8 Gösta Sundelin 8 Patrik Solberg 6 Ulf Ledsrröm 5 Per Bruhn 4 Palle Johansson 3 Peter Jansson 2 Robban Gjersvold 1 Lars Ringbert 1 And don't know if any of you can get the tv channel DMAX,but at 19:45 your time there will be a programme about Iceracing in Sweden
  8. Like you say no big surprises.Baltachev doing well on his home track.Didn't do too bad last year in the World Championship and might improve this year.Good to see Bulankin still mixing it with the best. And in Shadrink,Arkhipov,Krysov and i think it was the Khomitsevitch and Ivanov brothers team mate at Togliatti,Karachintsev who Bahnsport refered to as the new shooting star.Well he only just made it through, but he is there

  12. Correct me if i am wrong but the Sidecar blokes were already in Oz or not? They didn't and i suspect wouldn't fly out to ride in the qualifying round unless gauranteed lots of money or meetings. You wouldn't expect Screen,Lindgren or anyone else to do the same.So the situation isn't comparable i suspect
  13. A few important dates on the Danish calendar from Nicolai Klindts web-site.Not sure if they are 100% confirmed.PeterS? Danish Final 1 06.05 Holsted Danish Final 2 08.08 Outrup Danish U21 Final 17.08 Fjelsted
  14. I hope Nicki goes on to retain the title.Quite possible he will, but like i said last year about Crump,it doesn't always work like that.If Nicki doesn't do it i think it will be a complete outsider rather than Crump or Adams. My bet would be Jonsson

  16. Well i will be surprised if 9 teams are in the Bundesliga.I don't know where they will find another 10 German riders from? And it is not just 10,but they need to have a couple of good standard riders as well as juniors.Maybe Robbie Kessler is one option and maybe Polish riders riding as Germans i.e Sekula.Thought i saw that Szombierski was thinking of riding as a German
