  1. Be hard for Neil Street to have had any input in the 1929 Rudge
  2. Surprised we have got this far with no mention of Mike Parker Although i wouldn't be surprised if i have overlooked the fact he has been mentioned. But certainly influenced modern speedway
  3. I think not.I have to travel back in the freezing cold on my bike Should be a close meeting.Hopefully a good one at least No results from me.Bloody bike trouble on the motorway,so i had to turn back
  4. Danish Webmaster will have all the score charts up soon after here. I will be back late tonight and post the scores if they aren't already on-line.Looking forward to the start of the season. And the weather is lovely at the moment. At least here in Hamburg
  5. They each have 4 heats against each other(so the U21s ride 4 heats against each other) and the top scorer after the 4 heats gets 3 points towards his teams totals, the next best gets 2 points and so on.....It was to stop the fact a few years back that some of the U21s getting put in with the likes of Walasek and Klingberg were way,way behind. You can imagine on a track like Brokstedt which is just under 400m the heats were very strung out.So they decided to have their own heats. This year they have added U19 heats as well. Actually i was the person who suggested it,but i am not sure at the moment if it is good or bad. When you get a rider like Petersen or Dilger just winning all 4 heats is it helping them or not? They might be better off in with the big boys. The U21s +U19s can each be used in the main heats once as a reserve ride if one of the main riders is injured for their team
  6. Charlie beat him in the A-Final and was leading easily in the run-off but fell. The track was badly rutted

  8. This is a great web-site for all the links. Not only for speedway. They had plenty of links for the boxing last night.Just look,as some are just radio links though. Polish Sports online link
  9. Apparently he asked the MFR to let him concentrate on Bydgoszcz's meeting tomorrow Lucky Sweden

  11. Sweden win and go through to the final. But Russia with only 3 riders(E.Sajfudinov would have made the difference here)don't get enough points and Denmark go through.Hosts Austria couldn't get a team together and so Latvia took their place 1.Sweden 37 2.Russia 31 3.Latvia 28 4.Czech rep 24 results here Wiener Neustadt
  12. Been reliably informed that neither Ferjan or Klecha will line-up for Wolfslake.Zabik has been announced and another Polish youngster who rides as a German
  13. Hope the trip goes well. It's not just the clothes(although the women do look nice ).I was watching a series where a guy went round the countryside talking to the bavarian farmer types and i honestly could only understand about 1 word in 7 or so
  14. Well it's more, they don't consider themselves part of Germany. They think bavaria is still a seperate kingdom although just seen this quote from a Wolfslake official So it seems it might have been the Bundesliga meeting he was talking about
  15. Maybe he is talking about the Bundesliga meeting on sunday. That is the only thing i can think of.He isn't named in any of the teams or their squads. But that isn't unusual that someone pulls out a day or two before because they are needed in Poland for instance.Would have thought Mads was also needed, but you never know. Can't think of any other meetings this month that Mads would ride in.
  16. Hi Garf.Ok,thanks for that. Then it makes sense. Hopefully this year we will get to meet up.Either watching Kenneth or Lasse
  17. By the looks of this(and my Danish is very poor,so i could be way out on this)Vojens is getting an upgrade.Big plans for Vojens!Upgrading the track(no comments please) and the facilities for riders ,pressand fans.Looks like they will be entering a team in the DSL next year plus hoping for future GP's(????).I thought the GP's were doing well in Parken.Would be a backward step leaving and going back to Vojens unless there is a big upgrade.Or maybe the contract can't be lengthened. They will be hoping to host more national and international meetings. And looks like Oles sons are involved as well.Vojens will recieve 4 million kr from Haderslev council.Something that doesn't happen in Britain Vojens upgrade

  19. Looking at Michael Jepsen Jensen's site he hasn't got any test matches in his calendar(maybe they will still be arranged)but he does have a Team World Final arranged for Korskro the day after the YGT final So maybe this 4tt is going to be an official date on the calendar. And can only imagine it will be the same as last year i.e Denmark-Sweden-Poland -Australia Liglad
  20. Maybe if he doesn't see this thread you can contact one of the forum called Toonarmy86(?something like that).I think he was out there with Manuel.Maybe he knows more
  21. The way i heard it.Hauzinger was leading the championship by 2 points then the last two rounds were cancelled.I heard from someone that it could have been deliberate as manuel had to fly back to Europe and the last two meetings would then be scheduled for after he had gone Conspiracy theory!!!! Not sure if they were ever held though
  22. So who are the 3 riders for the Nordic U19 final in Fjelsted?
  23. Line-up for the Brokstedt Bundesliga meeting(fingers crossed here) Brokstedt M.Kröger S.Katt T.Kroner C.Gjedde(DK) S.Petersen(U21) R.Stanek(U19) Neuenknick K.Wölbert D.Ruud(S) G.Klopot(PL) D.Möller T.Busch(U21) M.Dilger(U19) Landshut A.Lindbäck(S) J.Kugelmann R.Speiser S.Schützbach S.Mack(U21) M.Helfer(U19) Wolfslake M.Sekula S.Mell M.Ferjan(Slo/H) K.Klecha(PL) R.Baumann E.Pudel So the tug or war for Antonio is finally settled(we hope).Pretty good line-up.I think it looks like a battle between Brokstedt and Neuenknick. But there are a lot of good riders.Just hope the weather plays along.Lovely today, but think there is some rain predicted for the next few days.A good line-up for the morning as well with young René Deddens among the 500cc riders and in the 125cc class maybe Steven Mauer will have a harder time of it this weekend than he did at Güstrow
  24. Not sure if it is,but i am sure it isn't the Polish final
