  1. I can understand and fully sympathise with Millwall and local boxers getting space. We all want to hear how the guys at Lynn,Fisher and Fitzroy Lodge are doing.Fail to see why those other teams and rugby get any though
  2. 7 man teams and Italy are seeded!!!!!Have they got 7 riders? Crap idea.It will be Poland and Denmark every time at the moment with 7 riders.No-one else will even get close. No way Jose.Finland anyway are stronger than most of those teams.Croatia and the US will really be scraping the barrel to get 7 riders
  3. Doesn't really say much there apart from a potted history of of where you watched speedway and who was the better team out of New X & Wimbledon..... "A bright modern feel" And telling us about a few photos that were in it.Oh well,i guess "It is well worth a library place" will have to do
  4. A= Ausfall.....i.e Dropped out/Engine failure D=Disqualifiziert-----disqualified/excluded N=Didn't start S=Sturz......i.e Fell
  5. Ole Olsen finally makes a good decision All my emails were not wasted then
  6. Ach,come on,be realistic......Ice Hockey is more popular My local team just played in front one of their lowest crowds ever...................6,000+ Most speedway promoters would love to get a crowd like that
  7. Typical Parsloes.....If it held the Olympics then why not People here still refer to Danzig rather than Gdansk. And it did confuse me at first when people talked about the Bromberg GP.
  8. Congratulations to Kevin. As some know i have been tipping him for the top for a number of years now. But he really hasn't progressed as much as i thought he would over the last two years. But to beat Smoli does show his potential.Just hope he can really have a good season next year and move up a step.I personally hope he moves into a PL spot.Seems he wasn't fully fit for the German U21 Final but i thought he would have had a couple of those under his belt by now
  9. Congrats to Kenneth.Good to see him get his chance after being unlucky last year thanks to getting poleaxed by Lindgren Pity Niels missed out as he isn't doing too bad this year.
  10. I had no choice.Bloody telephone engineers could only give a time between 08:00-16:00!!!!!

    Will James

Yes,pretty sure it is.I have a couple of Poole team photos(both Wildcats & Pirates) from that time and he is wearing yellow/white leathers with Churchill Leathers on his left arm
  12. Or maybe they mean U19's?As the U21 Final is also the U19 Final. So wouldn't Patrick be Danish U19 Champ and René Bach would be U19 runner-up as Nicolai is too old to be in the U19 comp I'm back
  13. Congratulations Peter I did tip Slangerup back in March for the title
  14. I´ll send you a photocopy of the progamme cover Brian
  15. It's probably the best speedway mag in Scandinavia. With the best staff Is it the only speedway mag?
  16. Wasn't there a Victor Ludorum trophy?Might be wrong, but thought there was something like that.Long time ago though
  17. Was Olsen riding in the second half?
  18. Max Dilger is the new German U21 champ. He beat Richard Speiser in a run-off.Kevin Wölbert could only finsh 3rd after beating last years champ,Tobi Busch in a run-off at Herxheim German U21 Final
  19. For Slangerup,Peter S is the best person to answer that.I was going to go a couple of years back after the Danish GP and i did find a bus that went from the Copenhagen train station to within walking distance of the track. And like Ghostwalker said,Malmö is very close to Copenhagen.I have done that trip as well.Although of course the standard isn't as good as you will find in Denmark
  20. Was just wondering why the thread only had 6 posts.Jacky just went and started a whole new thread Didn't realise until just now Anyway The Danish 80cc final results from last weekend 1. Mikkel B. Jensen, 15 2. Michael Jepsen Jensen, 13 3. Mikkel Michelsen, 12 4. Stefan Pedersen, 11 5. Mikkel Salomonsen, 9 6. Nicklas Porsing, 9 7. Jonas B Andersen, 8 8. Nicolaj Busk JAcobsen, 7 9. Jacob Buchhave, 3 And a good win from Mikkel B,beating both the World and the European Champ. As i have said before i am fairly sure we will be hearing a lot more from the top 3 in the future
  21. Next season Vojens will be in the league. So that is relatively easy.Slangerup is not far from Copenhagen

Janowski, Wodjakow Also slightly surprised Partick didn't do better. He has ridden Stralsund more than any of the others apart from i guess,Wölbert. But in this class of field anything can happen. And yes,Simon is one to watch for the future. But i have been impressed with Dennis Andersson since i saw him in the YGT 2 years back. And that was a good result for him to come out higher than his more fancied countrymen.Eklöf has had a bit of hype on here.He was maybe signing for Poole a year back according to Zetters(i think).Still not convinced with Kildemand away from Fjelsted.Just hope Jan hasn't made a mistake for the U21 team final
  23. Great stuff Gives Mads a chance to test himself against some of the top riders in a decent competition. Then we can judge just how far he has come this season. Pity that they haven't put one of the top youngsters in the ROW side.Would like to have seen Sajfutdinov in,instead of Lindgren or Nicholls Only kidding about Scotty
