  1. I hope at least one does make it through.Would love to see a Brit in the final here in Germany. But it looks quite a tough task. The Poles,Germans and a couple of the Czech riders look quite tasty
  2. Too gobsmacked watching Adams antics to read any comments. The way he veered across the track.Looked like he was planning on launching himself off the airfence Rickardsson style, but chose Nicki instead of the airfence
  3. I mean if you watch it again Adams is a loon.He nearly takes Rune Holta out and then wipes Nicki out Is this the new aggresive Leigh he promised us a couple of years back?
  4. I reckon you are a bit mutt n jeff. All those air horns and you without ear defenders. I SAY, ALL THOSE AIR HORNS WITHOUT ANY EAR DEFENDERS, DEAR
  5. Because he didnt finish the heat. The heat wasn't awarded,so he got no points.Doesn't alter the fact he finished ahead of Nicholls, who was excluded and took 4th place before any of the other positions were decided.
  6. From inspeed.de 1. Piszcz 8 PK 2. S. Petersen 10 3. P. Juul. Larsen 12 4. Sekula 9 Pk 5. Wölbert 7 6. Pudel 5 7. Swist 5 8. Kroner 4 9. Schultz 4 10. Hefenbrock 3 11. Bogdanov 3 12. Weis 2 There isn't much info about this meeting as far as i have seen.Even their own website hasn't got the results up I normally try to wait until proper heat results come through. But it looks like Piszcz won the final But i don't know what sort of system they were using, but i think i am glad i didn't go from the reports
  7. Well if IMG are willing to listen to fans opinions on the presentation, let's hope they might listen to fans and riders views of the ref and the track Not a big fan of Bjarnes, but i did feel for him that in the one GP in a blue moon where he looks like doing something he is victim of dreadfull refereeing.
  8. They did,but the fans got the hump coz the dj kept playing "New York,New York" and "My kind of town Chicago is" when it was New Orleans v Cleveland
  9. Tell that to all the American Football fans who are going to flock there to see some poxy game between two teams from the US of all places.Isn't it a sell-out?Don't ask me
  10. Because he done better than the person who finished 4th Once in the final it doesn't matter how many points you got previously.1st to 4th are decided by who does better in that final
  11. There are still some people from London who go regularly to speedway, even if we don't have a track to call our own
  12. Exactly.Did you see his face with the mock shock when he was booed onto the rostrum?Loving it,he was.Did the booing ever bother Mauger,Fundin or Olsen? All the way to the bank it did
  13. I agree with the temp tracks. But my point is that the guys who prepare permanent tracks week in week out also cock up with far more experience than Olsen has.Last weeks Kirky Lane track was terrible when riders like Gjedde can hardly ride 4 laps without looking like a wobbler in his first few months
  14. While i agree it should have been all 4 back,i do think Leigh moved out and firstly caused Holta(?) to throttle off to stop a clash and then continued out and met Nicki if not half-way then 40% Leigh-60% Nicki of the way.He didn't stick to the white line for sure.Terrible decision though
  15. I agree with you totally. These tracks are a real cause for concern. And i do think they are looking into changing the practice session, which on a number of occasions seems to have destroyed a good surface.Last year Olsen even went to all the trouble of shipping up the same material that was such a success in Parken to Gelsenkirchen. But it didn't work there. At least it was good in practice, but on the big day was crap. But like you say,i do think stadiums like Parken,Gelsenkirchen and Cardiff are where the GPs should be(providing there is a solution to the track surface)
  16. Good post Vince, but did you see the meeting from Belle Vue last monday?A permanent track and the riders(although not in the class of a GP line-up)also looked like complete novices on that surface. So it isn't only temp tracks
  17. You can lead a horse to water............. British GP...British team.....British Anthem
  18. I somehow doubt it.Surely the P.C. brigade as you put it are not really into the Royal Family in a big way And as the event didn't even take place in England.........
  19. He'd probably be drinking British stuff. That wouldn't work. Now German beer is another thing entirely. All GP refs should be supplied with it at meetings
  20. I for one don't enjoy seeing riders continually come so close to disaster.A few of these temporary tracks have been dangerous and it is only because of the skill of the riders and not a small amount of luck that a serious accident hasn't yet happened. Not sure how Nicki is taking the .......The fault is entirely with the ref and it should be the last GP he ever officiates at
  21. I think he was actually trying to complete the race rather than getting off the track, wasn't he?
  22. That was the one GP i was at live,so i didn't know that Typical But it was better to be there than watch it on the net
  23. Is it certain that the guy behind Dell isn't Lameroux?I have a programme from that time with a photo of Lammy and there are definite similarities other than the guy in the photo has more hair. But that might just be down to Brylcreem
  24. That is what the others in english are as well.I have watched a number of Elite League meetings on Justintv. Not that more than 1 has been worth the trouble so far.Terrible stuff, racing wise
