Seems things are not looking great.Training has been put back from 10 until 12.And this is what Dryml has to say which doesn't need a translator "- The track is fcuked, konstaterer den tjekkiske kører Lukas Dryml" More of the story here, but it seems the German guys left the track shale or whatever they use out in the pouring rain so it was totally soaked.I think So Olsen can't be blamed GP track

Jonsson Not In Gelsenkirchen?
iris123 replied to iris123's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Why not?Got the call-up too late? Nothing against Lubos.Just think Tobi in, is a better bet for the crowd in the stadium and at home(apart from maybe in CZ and a few households in England) -
Well as Grachans book costs a fiver each,i guess.....yes
-
Yes i saw Darcy a couple of years back in Denmark at the 80cc World Champs. Also met Mick this year with the youngsters in Denmark. There is some great talent among them.Arthur Sissis just amazed me.And Taylor Poole,Clinton Dennis and Sedgie all look promising.Like i say there is talent out there My photos from Denmark here

Yes.Just a temporary gap while the next lot come along.I imagine in a couple of years there will be a few good riders again. What about the Sedgmen bros? Are they still in Swindons plans?
-
No.Someone was saying to me at Holsted for the Team U21 Final."It doesn't look good for Australia next year".As most,if not all their team is too old.Maybe Kozza Smith is the only one who would still qualify
-
U21 again i think. As long as you are U21 some time next year
-
Seems Andreas is ill in bed with a dodgy tummy and might not ride tomorrow.Maybe Tobi Kroner will get a chance to replace him Story in German sadly False alarm.Sadly Lubicek takes Jonsson's place
-
Thanks Tmc.Thought it was you doing it.Probably because of the Olsen edition you published in Backtrack and of course the excellent Tommy Jansson translation
-
Thanks for that Frigbo. Any details on Kjaer? How many meetings he did? And never even heard of Tilgaard.Any details on year, meetings? Please?. I just love you guys with all the stats
-
Think he moved over to the States and is in this competition quite a bit.Conkers is the expert on this competition and these guys.I am sure he can add some detail if he see's this thread
-
He had such a happy cheeky face. Still got his autographed photo.F.Thomsen.Was one of the colourful(leather-wise)riders in the early 70s.One of the first danish riders Ole brought over i guess?Wasn't Krause Kjaer over the year before?
-
Does seem Emil Sajfutdinov is in with a good chance of a GP wildcard.Olsen has said "Sajfutdinov is young, exciting and has a professional team....there are a lot of things that must be looked at,but one thing is sure:Emil would fit into the GPs good" Olsen is also looking at signing Emil to ride for Vojens in the Danish Superliga next season Emil said "If i got the chance to ride in the GPs i would probably take it" More on Emil and the GPs in German here

Anyone know what books are going to be issued in the near future? Was retro speedway going to issue an english translation of Ole Olsens book?
-

Is that the guy who used to run around Waterden Rd with a tin can squashed on his foot in imitation of a steel shoe?Think there was a young girl who was with him.One of her relatives was a rider i think.Maybe she would know more if she is still around Can't help with his date of birth or career details, but i seem to remember he had a Kentish accent,so was probably born in Britain despite the Yank sounding name
-
Yes he was.But although he pulled out of the meeting in Prague on monday he will be in the German GP Here is the video of the crash Nicki P crash
-
Didn't he miss his flight? That's what i read anyway

Live Polish Speedway On The Internet
iris123 replied to Blazeaway's topic in International World of Speedway
Lawrence has already explained the situation.I don't really think it is "their ridiculous regulations".They own the rights to the tv coverage and thanks to that we have one or two meetings online every weekend. What is "ridiculous" about that. All companies that own rights want to get the best results from them. And like Lawrence says if they can come up with the money maybe they can carry on.Seems only sensible to me rather than "ridiculous" -

Seen Wozniak a few times now and he does look good. But he can only be about 16 years old.Didn't realise he was a Bydgoszcz rider
