iris123 replied to iris123's topic in International World of Speedway
Boring meeting.Hardly a pass all day.....Jari blew an engine in his third heat.Claus was very upbeat before the meeting and Klaus was subdued....and that was how they rode. Not much else to say. They had lots of rain friday night so maybe that affected the track...... -

-
He was very impressive......i did write that on the German forum.......but forgot to here He is a match winner for Brovst at C grade!!!!!!Just wonder though about Jörgensen who looked quite poor in Vojens.Holsted and Vojens, when LiGlad and Lasse Bjerre are available have good reserves.....Holsteds team looks strong throughout.....
-
That was a super comeback from Brian Karger. He made some great starts and even come from the back to beat Kenneth Bjerre!!!!Don't think Kenneths bikes were going that well though.Anyway, another defeat at home for Vojens and a pretty poor crowd as well compared to last weeks derby.Vojens 38-Brovst 48.And good to finally after a few years meet up with Garf Fotos

Only if he changes his nationality to British
-
How come Brian is in?......he told Jacky he was only coming back for the 1 meeting tomorrow
-
Yes....just a normal quali for the Danish Final. The title is wrong
-
There will be one semi final on friday in Randers. The 8 qualifiers from the Q-Finals meet the seeded riders: Patrick Hougaard Morten Risager Kenneth Kruse Hansen Claus Vissing Henning Bager Nicolai Klindt Brian Lyngsø Jesper Kristiansen (GSK) Then there will be the Danish final over 2 meetings again.Obviously the top Danes like Nicki P,Hans and Kenneth Bjerre are seeded straight into the Final

Results here.Great result for Lasse and Jepsen Jensen
-
Yes the meetings were today.Just rang my friend who was there but his wife said he is still on his way back......just wondered my self because of the rain here. But the meetings were ridden ok with just a little rain.So maybe if the results are not up he will ring and tell me.....

World U21 Qualifier @ Rye House - 17 May 2009
iris123 replied to Bezza's topic in International World of Speedway
I know the german representative is Brokstedts youngster Kai Huckenbeck.Got my first look at him a few days ago and he was very impressive against more experienced riders, winning all 4 heats.Whether he can transfer that from a near 400m track onto a small British one......it maybe too early as he is only 16.But looks like a great prospect for the future. He even impressed Stephan Katt so i heard -

I see on speedway.org that he has a dislocated shoulder and hip and some bone from the hip is also broken....and possibly more injuries. And that he had €1,000 and papers stolen from his van....and a few others had things stolen as well ....and today is his birthday!!!!! -

iris123 replied to speedwaylive's topic in International World of Speedway
Good to hear it Bob.That is also part of the experience....getting to know the other guys and making friends.I did actually miss read the results.I am sure somewhere i saw that René got through. But i see now that he is only reserve.Still a good result that could have been a lot better if not for that bit of bad luck in the last heat.He is certainl the German youngster to look out for after Kevin Wölbert, who is a few years older. -
European U19 Championship Debrecen
iris123 replied to speedwaylive's topic in International World of Speedway
I am just speaking from the point that it is a pity neither qualified......but i have already commented that i find it very good that the lads entered the competition and i am sure the will gain from the experience.....so i still say it is a pity they never got through to the next round....whatever you call it But i still say a very good result from René and pooh to the hair splitters -
