  1. Like Peter and i said, think this will be a battle between the 2 Mikkels. Both great kids, great talents and as ever with youngsters who get this far have good family behind them.I have talked a few times with both fathers,so i know how much they put into this.....don't think anyone has ever won the title twice(well i know they haven't),so i will go with a Mikkel B win in the final. But either would please me
  2. Yes i think so Just want to add my congrats to the Russian team.Great performance......and well Emil has taken a bit of stick in various forums...but just want to say what a great guy he is off track. Was easily the most popular in the pits after the meeting....everyone and i mean almost everyone wanted to have their foto taken with him and he happily obliged.I am now the proud owner of a foto with the future World Champ
  3. I was around that part as well.Talked to Ivan and Lasse before the meeting.Hope to see Lasse and Kenneth together in the DSL soon Talked to Nicolai as well before the meeting and he was hoping for 8 points,so should be pretty happy....but Niels and Bjarne?????? Heard Nicki said he won't be fit for thursday....but the decision will be made on monday. Then again i heard he has a couple of burns on his leg....but not in really bad places.......
  4. Yes.Would be good to meet up with you all.Should meet up with the Hulk today in Vojens,so i will see if Linda and Sandra will also be in Malilla.....
  5. Homes of British Speedway mentions that 2 riders were killed during training sessions that season at dagenham.Harry Rogers and David Jackson.Presumably home riders?
  6. Yes but some riders you can just see are quality.René was one, even though he was in the same team as World Champion Simon Nielsen.LiGlad is another......you could see the kid had talent......and the 2 Mikkels.......I have been praising them both for a few years now......they have class about them........and then there is Sissis!!!!
  7. Any forumites going to be at the Swedish Championship meetings?I might just make it over for those....weather and finances playing their part of course
  8. Good luck to him.I remember Palm Toft just scraping through the semi's and then winning the title! René Bach should have had that one

  11. Not really bothered......just hope some of my fotos have made it into the programme No.I think you are right....hihihi Oh,forgot to say........Get in there René
  12. No.He will wait until tomorrow.Swelling is down, but only a 50-50 chance he can ride Hans will wait
  13. Any forum members going to this one?Garf,Peter S?Lis?...?????? Not unduly worried if Hans doesn't ride.Like i said in another thread i would prefer to see Nicolai given a chance in this meeting.Let Hans have a rest and help win the title later on
  14. Seems that Nicolai will be training in Vojens tomorrow.Doubtful Hans will ride Hans Andersen
  15. We can't say.Neither can we say what she did or did not do at Cable Street. Not sure how many times she was interviewed in later years.Maybe you know of an interview where these questions along with whether she changed her views on Nazi Germany and Hitler after the war and why she had a hoard of Hitler memorabilia in her house were put to her? Would be interested to know just what she loved about Nazi Germany I'd also like to know if Clem had "No Pasarán" sewn on the back of his leathers
  16. I don't understand the argument. If GB have one rider in the GP's they will still be able to have another at Cardiff.......why is it neccesary to have 3 riders at cardiff to bring the crowd in?Is it really going to affect the crowd so much to have 2 struggling riders instead of 1?Maybe we should lobby for a few more to struggle in the series then,so Cardiff will finally sell-out!
  17. Sometimes maybe i am strange......but just seeing the name Jimmy Hyll made me chuckle Just wonder whatever happened to Mattias Nilsson........i thought he looked very promising some years ago,but now he is scraping around in the lower league
  18. Well it has been noted elsewhere that history was rewritten years ago........"airbrushing"......You just have to look at the notes from the files on her to see she was someone who held extremely odious political views. No way in my opinion does she deserve to be held up as a speedway heroine......"this war is terribly unfair" and having a hymn in which Hitlers name replaced gods!!!!!!!Clem Beckett,George Orwell and other who went to Spain to fight in the International Brigade deserve to be remembered as heroes. This woman and people sharing her views don't F.Taylour extremist
  19. Unless he changes there could be a very nasty accident. It is all well and good being enthusiastic and exciting......but he is looking at the very least careless if not down right dangerous. And from what i have seen, his mechanic isn't helping him much with his attitude
  20. Why has Simon Nielsen a high average,Anders?I see LiGlad is now riding in Sweden ....And any idea why Wölbert isn't?Or at least i haven't noticed if he is.And he lives just spitting distance from the German-Sweden ferry Compared to Smolinski who lives at the other end of Germany........maybe he is asking for too much? But would do a good job for a team i think
  21. I somehow think you would have a different opinion if she was a muslim extremist
