  1. Which Christmas was that then? And what are statistics?...anyway your numbers went up only after i stopped doing the rival German news Good onya. This is always one of the best threads on here.....
  2. Now you are making things more confusing.I have already given the right name of the place. And it is given correctly some pages earlier by Dutchgrasstrack in the fixture list for the event. It is the same place that has previously hosted such meetings Looks like there are a number of lakes in the area,so without prior knowledge it might be best to go to the town and ask or follow a few cars/vans Going by the previous meeting(which might be a bad thing )it should start around 13:00....?????
  3. You'll not find any mention in the FIM list as it is the Czech Championship.Very unreliable a number of meetings in the past have been cancelled before or even during as the ice hasn't been thick enough.Plus the spelling to look for is i think.... Růžená
  4. Surely they could provide the names as stickers. So once you know the riding order you just have to stick the names in the right place and the programme looks pukha? Can't be a hard task in this day and age.Ok,some after a few pints might have a problem sticking the names in in an orderly fashion. But then they will have trouble wrtiting them in legibly as well
  5. Give us the sat nav location of your house,so we can warm up and have a sauna on our way there and back please mate
  6. This is something i have been saying for years on here in reply to those who say "Foreigners come over here and take team places, but Brits wouldn't be allowed to do the opposite"....My reply was always along the lines of "Why not?".Just the same as i have always been an advocate of Brits entering in 80cc comps.Good to see Cameron Heeps do it.But he is from Australia and can manage it.Why can't one or two Brits do the same?Of course it isn't a sure fire way to success, but imo it is better training than what you will get by just riding in Britain.I hope Sam Woods has a good time and learn from the experience and it might open eyes and opinions in Britain. The door in Denmark at least is certainly open for determined youngsters.Poland is also open,as i know a few German youngsters who have ridden in junior teams there.
  7. There are usually a number of meetings from Russia online
  8. Yes Saw Kenni last year in the Euro Champs and this year in the YGT.He is definitely a big talent.I was surprised that he didn't win the World Championship. But as my blooming motorbike broke down just before the border i couldn't get there to see how it all panned out.In the semi he looked pretty invincible.I know from talking to an insider at Holsted that they are hoping for big things from Rasmus Jensen next year.
  9. Stop trying to get me in trouble and get that sauna finished mate
  10. Why People were asked to make a guess and i have tried to use my knowledge of previous Team Viking riders to make a guess.....You can't say that the elite of the Danish youngsters have been making appearances for Team Viking.I mean Patrick Tarp i had pretty much forgotten about after he left the Vojens 80cc team.So using my judgment i don't think Mikkel would be riding in the team.In fact when i spoke to him in the summer he was thinking he might not ride next year anywhere.Simon Nielsen was a decent prospect, but didn't really progress much....but at least he has made a few appearances for Danish international teams,so i wouldn't expect him to be the one.So it only really leaves Nicki Barrett who hasn't done anything of note on a 500cc bike and seems to have levelled off......so i doubt very much he would even have ambitions of a career in Britain.Or Michael Palm Toft.....another who hasn't really done much. But then again i said he was very very lucky to win the title.Barrett was also a bit lucky as Jonas Raun was the best rider in the competition the year he won it......just trying to make a considered guess. Can't see why that can upset anyone
  11. The second tier of Danish youngsters. Not the ones who are making a name for themselves on the international scene.I wouldn't expect the likes of Liglad,Mikkel B.Jensen or Lasse Bjerre to appear for Team Viking.
  12. Well it can only be one of 3 riders.Mikkel Michelsen i doubt very much.So it will be either Simon Nielsen, who i never rated as highly as his team mate Renè Bach.Or it will be the very fortunate winner Palm Toft.He was without a doubt the worst of the 4 riders in that final and took advantage as the other three knocked each other out of the running. Not sure i have ever felt as sorry for a rider as i did for Bach that day.He definitely deserved that title.Twice in the lead when the race was stopped.I guess the level of rider that turns out for Team Viking,Palm Toft would be my guess
  13. Might have passed you on the monday as i went down to the Millwall shop to get a few goodies and thought about looking over at the old stadium as we went up Ilderton road......but my dad wanted to shoot off to Burgess Park and take me to meet some of his mates down the pub
  14. That is a pity.....one of the best western European youngsters.....
  15. Might be because the guy has stated he has already read it ....but the Tommy Jansson book should be recommended,as he hasn't listed that one.....
  16. Took a bit of local approach and went for Jacobi,Laier and then of course Krasnikov
  17. Yup....new season, same as the old one......taste of things to come with that top 3 i wouldn't mind guessing even at this early stage.Hope someone comes along to break things up a bit though.
  18. Sure i read months ago that this was his last season in charge......
  19. Pity the date isn't the saturday,as i am flying into London then and would have loved to attend.Wish you all the best with it Norman
  20. Having known Henning since his days riding for Brokstedt i agree 100% that he is a great guy.But one thing....no-one suggested he married an english girl to ride in the NL.Someone seemed to have put words in someone elses mouth And another slight worry here is that the NL is not really the place for a rider who isn't going anywhere....imo i would rather see a young Dane,Aussie or Swede who will develope rather than someone who didn't really make it as a professional take up a spot. But on the other side if he really can help others improve then he will be an asset to a team.Firstly he actually has to decide to change his nationality and personally as someone who has done the opposite journey,it isn't a thing i would contemplate and wonder about people who do.....That is just me though.Different strokes for different folks.Glad to see that Henning is happy though.Good on ya
  21. Great post spook. All so rare on this forum of late. But that say's it all in a nutshell.
  22. Yes i saw that this morning and have been desperately trying to get in touch with her all day
  23. Yeah, but Kevin really did have guts ache.I work here and quite a few of my colleagues regularly get a guts ache as well.If you ate german food too often you would understand
  24. "Sulzburg" & "Slazburg" You've all been on the beer today?
  25. And that is probably what all the Coventry team, management and fans would say whilst laughing their bowlaks off and drinking themselves silly
