That makes more sense. I said it was a surprise last place.Good performance from the guys. And must have done Michael Palm Tofts chances of a place in the PL a lot of good if any promoters look at the scores

Very good win for Sweden. And the way it is going in Diedenbergen Poland might not make it through.Doesn't look like there is a Loktaev among the German or Finnish riders who will take some points off the top two teams. So it will all be down to not getting excluded ect. Will be very close by the looks of it Results from sportowefakty Szwecja 58 pkt. 1. Dennis Andersson - 14 (3,3,3,3,2) 2. Simon Gustafsson - 10 (2,2,3,1,2) 3. Ludvig Lindgren - 7 (1,2,2,2,w) 4. Kim Nilsson - 12 (2,2,3,2,3) 5. Linus Sundstroem - 15 (3,3,3,3,3) 2. Polska 54 pkt. 1. Just wanted to re-quote myself as what we were talking about has now come out into the open.So it has been said,Hefenbrock and Kroner both didn't want to qualify into the next round last year and what i heard at Stralsund that Haupt didn't want to go to Austria as reserve has also been mentioned in the press. Now with young Marcel Helfer not wanting to qualify as reserve in the U21s,so team manager Schäfer dropped him "in case we were in a position to qualify for Russia and it was too far for him to travel....".And it also quoted many riders who dropped out of a meeting in Togliatti as it was too far away.Think Smolinski was mentioned in that one.It is a pity riders don't use these meetings as experience as it always seems those riders from Russia,Latvia and Ukraine travel to the west. There was even 3 Ukraine riders riding last night in the Danish Superliga.

Depends. It will be the winner from both semi's and then the highest scoring second placed team also goes through

Thanks Anders. And apparently Linus Eklöf is to ride for both Eskilstuna teams??? How can this happen? First time i have heard of a rider that rides officially for two teams in the same league -

While talking about Div 1.What is the story behind the "other" Eskilstuna team, Tigrarna?Who is behind this and i guess they ride at Smederna's track -

Yes it has been a poor week.Didn't include monday as it wasn't in Sweden. But i think you can include belle Vue in that list as well.Every meeting i have seen online has been very poor, bordering on farcial when even the home riders were having problems getting round the track -

Well we have to cross our fingers that tonight is better than the previous two days meetings -
After deliberately letting Austrian rider Lukas Simon pass him in the run-off for the reserve spot in the U21's German manager Rene Schäfer has dropped Marcel Helfer from the German team.Team Helfer said it was a sporting decision as he couldn't afford to travel to be a reserve. So rather than qualify and then drop out with a sicknote and not give Simon much chance to prepare he let him pass him just before the finish line M.Helfer

Ok.Proving how smart i am....you are is shortened to you're,not your And as the person that started the thread stated fixture clash and rider availability as the problem i figured he had that from an official source rather than just made it up off the top of his head.Gave them the benefit of the doubt on that though, rather than trying to find out what source it was and double checking So do you have an official source that you can link to?

That is a helluva meeting to take a look at your new rider. If he manages to stay on the pace and get a couple of points amongst that lot he would have done well.If he gets more than 4 points then he will probably be a heat leader in a few months

Well Ipswich + the other witches of Neuenknick in Germany were areas where witches were hunted i think. The Essex and surrounding areas were quite well known for witches and witch hunts. The famous or infamous Witchfinder General,Matthew Hopkins did live in Ipswch at some preiod in his life .Same goes for middle Germany. So you are saying the Mickey Mouse has some significance to Zielona Gora? This seems to be what they are saying on their homepage. But not speaking Polish and the translation isn't conclusive it is hard to work out what that significance is.It is obviously not something just plucked out of the air -

Didn't go.There was a weather warning for the German/Denmark border region with high winds, thunder, lightning and some heavy rain with the possibility of branches falling from trees etc.And as Vojens is just over the border i didn't think it worth the risk.As it was,it wasn't too bad here in Hamburg. We had a bit of rain and it was windy at times.About half 6 it got very dark..... -

Had a look and it seems the mouse hasn't always been on the jacket. It started in 1961.Not sure of the translation, but something to do with Walt Disney/Mickey Mouse and a sponsor or the club
