  1. Rudi Steen Hansen being interviewed.....was watching his son ride for Holsted on saturday
  2. No-one can quite say "yeeah" quite as cool as a Dane :-)
  3. Yes track is outside of town(1 or 2 km)among fields.....very few pine trees i think
  4. That is the 1st Division and such. You only get one man and a dog plus maybea speedway crazy english guy going to those. But Superliga meetings can vary from 800 or so toa few thousand.Vojens was probably one of the worst supported clubs funnily enough. But was handy for me as it was just over the border
  5. No it was an easy mistake for someone to make as in the printed sheet inside the programme they had Kröger and Kroner swapped around.....then they had all the helmet colours mixed up as well.......plus this Bundesliga idea of having 'home' riders in the red + white helmet colours and the away team in blue+ yellow makes for confusion!!!! Yeahhhhhhhh
  6. Much preffered the old system. Now the same riders ride against each othertoo often imo.If one rider is that bit better it is rathera foregone conclusion far too often.Ok,when you get two riders that are on a par then it makes for an exciting night, but i seem to be out of luck most times of late for my DSL visits.Of course they cut down the numbers for a reason. Not so sure on the idea of a 4team Final either. And my first experience on saturday of the new 3 team system......also wondering why?Seems especially for the youngsters, the more riders involved the better. With the 4 tt there wereat least at each meeting more riders to see.Not sure how the numbers work over a season though.Whether less riders get a chance or more or the same.......Must do the maths
  7. Ooh,spoilt for choice tonight then with streams.Be interesting to see how Tobi Busch + Ice Racer Danil Ivanov go.Tobi looked really good yesterday. But that was in Germany Otherwise a big thumbs up for the Smeddie pairing
  8. Heat 5 i made it the sameas the official results i picked up from the press office....T.Busch,M.Kröger,T.Kroner,M.Schultz.Musielak did start from 15m in one heat. Can't be sure which. What about speedway.org?Has Ottie put her report up?Think i get a mention as she asked to use one of my piccies.Fame at last Had a look and she say's it was ht6 when he went off 15m.....and my foto is the very last one
  9. Seems rather strange that speedyguy it seems has started a new account just to post on this thread!!!!What do you say to that raceleader?
  10. Heard today that the Esbjerg semi has been moved to Outrup on the 8th of May
  11. Brokstedt 39 M.Korneliussen (3,0,6!,1',1',1)12+2 M.Kröger (0,1',2,3,2,1')9+2 K.Wölbert (0,2,1,0,2,2)7 T.Kroner (2,1',2',1,3,0)9+2 S.Katt (2,0,0,0,)2 Stralsund 48 J.B.Monberg (2,3,1,2,0,3,3)14 M.Schultz (1',0,0,1',1')3 T.Musielak (1,1,3,2,0,0)7 T.Busch (3,3,f.x,2',3)11+1 M.B.Jensen (3,2',3,3,2')13+2 Super meeting(one of the best i have ever seen at Brokstedt)with some great races, lovely weather and a apid max from Mikkel B Highlight must be a fantastic heat 6 when Kevin was leading but having trouble keeping Mikkel B at bay and then Musielak and Mikkel went past Kevin in one move. The 3 of them were only feet apart the whole heat.Mikkel was obviously man of the meeting, but there were super performances by Musielak,Mads, the old boy,Matten Kröger and Tobi Busch had an impressive meeting, only spoilt when he lostcontrol and went into the fence whilst in second place.3,800 fans there today who must have gone home pleased, even if Brokstedt lost. In the juniors it was disappointing for the young Russian.Won the two heats he finished, but the one i saw he wheelied at the gate and was out.Seemed he also fell in one of his earlier heats,so didn't make the final. But he did ask me to supply him with some pics On the 125cc bikes,Patrizia Grosser won with a max.Hard to tell how she will be really only riding againsther sister and young Wessels
  12. More news regarding the incidents at yesterdays meeting.3 fans were injured including the young woman http://www.mittelbayerische.de/index.cfm?pid=10063&pk=782242&p=1

  18. Both meetings called off because of rain and will try to be run today. At least i got to see the 80cc div 1 meeting in Skaerbaek.Good to meet Peter S again, but i guess as Slangerup finished last he wasn't too happy with the day.Rain started in Skaerbaek slowly about 11:30.Travelled up with little hope to Esbjerg. Not been to the track for a few years and they have certainly made great improvements. All was not lost as madea nice little visit to Ribe.Only 4° there though!!!!By Flensburg it was 8° and 17 when we got back to Hamburg.Hope all goes well today for both meetings
  19. You have both only been here a few years and the stop start stream was just a couple of years back. You are talking as if it was the good old days last century Now if you remember the days when Liverstam + Tarabanko/Zetters were giving us the news from Sweden and Tommy from Zielona Gora was our Polish correspondent in the days before Google Chrome translated everything into gobbledygook instantly, when SCB + Jill ,although sparing in their use of the alphabet for their 'nicks' accounted for about 50% of the daily posts on here.....the days before the Fairies and the Mexicans were causing havoc....the times when Bila Hora was so fascinated by Poland and the sweet bisexual angel Kitten also from the Green Mountain town were amongst our midst....when Sandman used to sail in and confuse us with his tales of life on the ocean waves and what he and his crew used to do in their spare time....then and only then can you start going dewy eyed at the old times.........and even they were only about 7 or 8 years back No.They are plenty on here who have been watching Polish and Swedish streams or looking in to updates and getting dvd's sent to us from friends abroad. We might not post after or during every meeting or after every heat, but we are here all the same.Have been for years and will be for years to come i hope.Good health to one and all
  20. 21. Looks like another addition to my collection. As way of an introduction to speedways origins, any mention of how and when speedway first started?
  22. Nice one Jack. You are certainly finding a lot of dodgy quotes. At least it gives the historians people to track down and show the real evidence to.Keep up the good work. But in amongst your efforts to find these unreliable quotes and search out the history of Cycle Speedway now,you seem to have again forgotten to answer a question put to you
  23. Can't believe he is fit to ride in the re-run the way his head and neck went there! Tough guys....
  24. Agree.Even though there looks like a large number of empty seats,it just looks and sounds the part.......bring it on
