  2. anyone got a stream?don't care about the speedway, but i have to see miss yellow before bedtime
  3. What happened to the racecard thread?Just got me tracing paper and hb pencil out and went to look for it and nada.....won't be watching the speedway without me minimax racecard.spoilt my evening
  4. How did the Polish riders in 73 get into the final? We have done all this to death....just search for some of the numerous threads.....it isn't about making the line-up fresh. It's about ensuring the best riders are in.Apart from the usual Brit picked and darcy opting out for certain reasons they generally get it right....and if they don't it is normally those that have qualified....so making more places for qualifiers isn't the way
  5. They were also the days when riders were seeded through to the final........ ;)
  6. Yes you did tell me.I couldn't follow the YGT as i was away in Denmark. Was surprised that Mio wasn't in the final, but Danish webmaster did tell me about Kurtz.. No,didn't go yesterday.Next weekend in Brokstedt, but i doubt Kylmä will be riding for Brokstedt?
  7. Yes,he must stand a decent chance as some of the best Danes are not in....i.e world no2 Jorgensen is just reserve.Couple of good Norwegians to battle against though
  8. 1. Danmark 53p. (Sam Jensen; 3-3-3-3 12p, Jason Jørgensen; 1-3-1-3 8p, Jonas Jeppesen; 3-2-3-3 11p, Mads Hansen 3-2-3-2 10p, Fredrerik Jakobsen 3-3-3-3 12p) 2. Sweden 30p. (Johan Jensen; 1-1-1-1 4p, Alexander Johansson; 3-0-2-2 7p, Kenny Wennerstam; 2-2-2-0 6p, Christoffer Selvin; 2-2-2-2 8p, Andreas Runesson; 2-2-1-0 5p) 3. Norway 27p. (Glenn Moi; 2-3-3-2-d 10p, Lasse Fredriksen; 2-3-1-3-1 10p, Espen Sundvor; 1-0-2-1 4p, Ola Pedersen; 0-1-0-N 1p, Vegard Starsveen; 1-1-0 2p) 4. Finland 10p. (Henri Ahlbom; T-1-1-2-1-2 7p, Niilo Vuolas; 0-0-0-1 1p, Antti Vuolas; 0-1-0-0 1p, Sebastian Selvin; 1-0-0-0 1p, Emil Rindal; 0-0-N 0p) Think i am right that this was in Elgane,Norway.Great performance by Norway to push Sweden hard for silver.Denmark of course at another level.Won't mention the team trailing at the back in case i upset my friend f-s-p again lol
  9. Only been a dad a few days and has man flu......now if you had a few bottles of that Finnish stuff you sent me a few years back i'd comeover and help you on the road to recovery....but whisky and red wine.....i'll stick with my German beer tonight.Get well soon though mate....a few hours in the sauna and sweat it out eh?
  10. Well i hope you manage to escape the kitchen in time to see some speedway.Boom, boom
  11. If you could Phil maybe i would be tempted to make my first visit to Cardiff.Bet if it was in London they'd wrassle for nowt
  12. yes.everyone takes a holiday :t:
  13. The rumours of Gollobs demise have been around for quite a few years now.He finally won the world title maybe 2 or 3 years after people were righting him off(me included,as i thought he had missed his best chances),but now i think it has finally come.Enjoy it while it lasts,it was a great career, one of the most entertaining riders ever, when he was in the right frame ofmind. Now i think the years and the off track problems and of course finally winning that coveted title have taken their toll. And i am not sure why that last bit is there as no-one has written Hancock off as far as i have seen????
  14. Took his time.......but congratulations from me as well :t: Just checked my emails and what do i see,but a photo of the "ugly bugger" wrapped up in Finnish colours.....enjoy the beers mate...
  15. Seems a couple of the polish sites are saying they will have updates. But that happened last time with no luck....maybe Rasmus is there with Mikkel B + i know Danish Webmaster is with Nicklas Porsing,so we might get something from the Danes as well....
  16. Not sure why that is a point of any interest. They can only ask the going rate, that promoters will pay.Ask too much and no-one will cough up the cash.Only the promoters will know if it is worth paying. Why would fans need to know?
  17. So even if the grandstand holds 10,000 and the rest of the stadium can hold another 20,000,do Coventry want to host these meetings?Just because they are hosting a round of the U21s doesn't mean yes
  18. TBH it doesn't matter where they hold it in GB,Coventry or Lakeside ....next year or the year after Scott will be another year past his best as will probably Harris,Kennett and most you would like to list.It seems we have maybe 4 or 5 years to wait until another crop of riders come to the fore.Until then unless we have more silly rules like GB can use three jokers at any time during a meeting we can forget about SWC medals. There really are 3 or 4 teams better than us at least
  19. People seem to lack basic understanding of the situation........it isn't a matter of listing tracks and asking why they don't get a certain meeting.Maybe the track doesn't want the meeting?Maybe the FIM won't give them the meeting?maybe even if they do want the meeting they don't make a better offer than another track? etc....as it is Manchester is going to get a super duper new stadium and this meeting has been earmarked for it......so.As far as i know they now have enough bricks for a wall of the toilet block at least,so looking good for 20??
  20. Think it was well explained....if the Manchester stadium is finished in time for 2014 then it will be held there. So no chance of GB hosting it two years on the trot. Then again if it isn't finished until 2015 then the same scenario for 2014 ad infinitum
  21. If that is the case,it is very clear cut and no-one could argue with it.Seems strange then that there is so much bad feeling towards people who couldn't do anything about it.Sure we all wait to see the results of this excellent work. The future looks bright then
  22. Surely only 1 of them could have made it? And even then possibly as reserve with those averages. Not sure how many teams were there that year though....
  23. Really? Why?Ìf you are taking note of what he say's,i think you need as much help as he does!!!!
  24. Maybe, but this is the set-up that seems to have made our best prospect leave and further his career in Germany instead of any of the BSPA options For once i agree with you Yes i agree Ghostie. For the past few years i think the Danes are way ahead of the rest really.Only strange thing is where the Poles come from,as most of the Poles i have seen on 80cc over the past seasons don't seem to make it.Ok i remember Wozniak a few times and now Woryna is just starting out on 500cc,but most of the top Polish juniors don't seem to be doing the YGT etc....Pawlicki bros or Dudek,Zmarzlik for instance i can't recall on 80cc
