  1. Took his time.......but congratulations from me as well :t: Just checked my emails and what do i see,but a photo of the "ugly bugger" wrapped up in Finnish colours.....enjoy the beers mate...
  2. Seems a couple of the polish sites are saying they will have updates. But that happened last time with no luck....maybe Rasmus is there with Mikkel B + i know Danish Webmaster is with Nicklas Porsing,so we might get something from the Danes as well....
  3. Not sure why that is a point of any interest. They can only ask the going rate, that promoters will pay.Ask too much and no-one will cough up the cash.Only the promoters will know if it is worth paying. Why would fans need to know?
  4. So even if the grandstand holds 10,000 and the rest of the stadium can hold another 20,000,do Coventry want to host these meetings?Just because they are hosting a round of the U21s doesn't mean yes
  5. TBH it doesn't matter where they hold it in GB,Coventry or Lakeside ....next year or the year after Scott will be another year past his best as will probably Harris,Kennett and most you would like to list.It seems we have maybe 4 or 5 years to wait until another crop of riders come to the fore.Until then unless we have more silly rules like GB can use three jokers at any time during a meeting we can forget about SWC medals. There really are 3 or 4 teams better than us at least
  6. People seem to lack basic understanding of the situation........it isn't a matter of listing tracks and asking why they don't get a certain meeting.Maybe the track doesn't want the meeting?Maybe the FIM won't give them the meeting?maybe even if they do want the meeting they don't make a better offer than another track? etc....as it is Manchester is going to get a super duper new stadium and this meeting has been earmarked for it......so.As far as i know they now have enough bricks for a wall of the toilet block at least,so looking good for 20??
  7. Think it was well explained....if the Manchester stadium is finished in time for 2014 then it will be held there. So no chance of GB hosting it two years on the trot. Then again if it isn't finished until 2015 then the same scenario for 2014 ad infinitum
  8. If that is the case,it is very clear cut and no-one could argue with it.Seems strange then that there is so much bad feeling towards people who couldn't do anything about it.Sure we all wait to see the results of this excellent work. The future looks bright then
  9. Surely only 1 of them could have made it? And even then possibly as reserve with those averages. Not sure how many teams were there that year though....
  10. Maybe, but this is the set-up that seems to have made our best prospect leave and further his career in Germany instead of any of the BSPA options For once i agree with you Yes i agree Ghostie. For the past few years i think the Danes are way ahead of the rest really.Only strange thing is where the Poles come from,as most of the Poles i have seen on 80cc over the past seasons don't seem to make it.Ok i remember Wozniak a few times and now Woryna is just starting out on 500cc,but most of the top Polish juniors don't seem to be doing the YGT etc....Pawlicki bros or Dudek,Zmarzlik for instance i can't recall on 80cc
  11. I didn't mention Finland specifically. But the trend has been that first Norway didn't send anyone to meetings and now Finland over the past few years.Just like in the east you tend to just have Russian,Ulraine and maybe Czech riders turn up to qualis and so you end up with maybe 6 or 7 Russian or Ukrainian riders in a quali as the other riders haven't turned up.I seem to remember that Kevin Wölbert dropped out of representing Germany at one stage as he said he was always sent on a long trip while other riders always seemed to get a home draw
  12. It was becoming harder and harder to justify a Scandinavian round when only Danish + Swedish riders were turning up.It is worrying that the numbers allowed to enter are declining though.
  13. Can only say reading the report from the German language mag,Speedweek that the word "farce" was also used, but more with the Mikkel B+ Davey Watt incident when they both almost came toa stand still.
  14. Can't say i have given it much thought.Don't think you can really compare the two or their situations. But maybe it was a tongue in cheek remark. And of course i will inwardly chuckle if it is
  15. Not going to trawl through lodas of posts, but you did make a point of saying the Doc was pulling darcy's hand this way and that to no ill effects and that the Doc was a hand specialist. Now it seems he couldn't use his hand properly????
  16. Gollob to quit at the end of the season?
  17. I've said it before and i'll say it again.Crap rule, scrap it altogether
  18. Think the qualis will be in Daugavpils + Miskolc....the rumour of the race-off and final being in Prague was maybe made concrete by Paul Bellamy?I didn't hear it .Not heard anything about the other two meetings
  19. Another good grass track win for Zak in Germany yesterday. What with Zak on grass and Robert on shale,we have a couple of good young kids for the future it seems
  20. It's what i said.Or one of the examples, but spook say's you can check that
  21. Next German disaster http://www.inspeed.de/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11418 Nordseekrabbe is really part of the Katt/Kröger team,so you can see he was getting really upset and it then went over to FB
  22. Nothing said about the human beanpole's latest win?Did see some funny stuff on the net concerning the Germans and their attitude/fitness etc.Wanted to stoke the fires, but resisted as one of the guys is the press man at Brokstedt and don't want to upset him :D
  23. Take your word for it,but how many times have you yourself seen a rider have trouble and then get going again?Think about it...... As for the other bit you sort of answer the question....the people who made the rule never thought it through.I thank you Like Ghostwalker say's,it is sad really that our sport isn't considered exciting enough in itself,it has to think up silly rules to try to make it feel exciting if the points are close......
  24. The rule is a joke and was exposed to all watching......blown out in the open now it has no credibility and you will have to make more stupid rules to keep it in place and try to give it some credibility.Exclude riders who aren't trying......ok,then they fain engine failure or miss the 2 minute warning etc so they don't go the required amount in front......run out of fuel on the last lap etc.....all a farce.the rule is stupid and so are the riders then forced into stupid actions. Why not have itin the GPs as well if it is such a great rule as a fair number of the riders have by now no chance of winning.....let them use jokers in all their rides until they are in with a chance again.... Were the Danes interviewed on tv or in the Star before and mentioned they were in favour of the rule?I don't know. All i know is when the subject came up they said it was rubbish.......
