  1. Me too,but it only works if people know what he is on about.Just like old Subedei giving riders nicknames which no-one else knew.........well at first no-one else knew, but after about 100 times I think we all got the picture
  2. Not the best of meetings, but good enough to keep me watching throughout, which is rare
  3. So that is where all the terrace testers live The one line track nearly got them in trouble there
  4. I did think that in one of the early heats and thought one rider at least looked like he thought the race would be restarted, but it wasn't.And hadn't noticed it since tbh
  5. Could it be the one line is fast and to move off slows you down.Kildemand looked like that in the previous heat.
  6. Think Nicki should have tried to upset Lampart a little there,to give Smektala a chance
  7. Actions speak louder than words. We keep hearing things like "lessons have been learnt" or "it will be better next time".......Prague,how many times? But we keep getting served up with the same rubbish as before.Time to put up or get out,i think
  8. Emil owned there.Like I say though, exciting without any passing involved
  9. Not much passing so far,but still an interesting meeting.Hope the action gets a bit hotter in the latter stages though
  10. In my opinion Emil done the best he could to guide his partner round. Then when he went on the wrong line,Emil couldn't do much but make sure of the win.
  11. Great ride from Emil, who is now sponsored by Wittstock promoter Mauer. Was here for two days during the week and hopefully we will see more of him throughout the season.yeah!!!!!
  12. Think one or two of his track records lasted into the 70s,he was so fast Good protecting ride from Greg
  13. I'm here for this one.Hope for a good meeting.Bit of bad news that ex Rzeszow youngster Marco Gaschka had a bad crash a few weeks back and it seems has decided to give up the sport. Was watching his younger brother a couple of days ago on the 50cc bikes
  14. It would be going back to the roots,as some of the early world championships were held in Paris
  15. That would give an unfair advantage to Darcy though.......
  16. Why do you insist on calling him "Philippe"? It's lost on me
  17. Having a good meeting. Was going to say he is no youngster. He was here donkeys years ago with Lodz I think. Menager or Manager???? or are both ok in Poland
  18. maybe a case of ,vahingosta viisastuu .then again knowing finnish as little as I do,maybe not
  19. It was at least blamed on the EU in the media and like I said it wasn't a policy 30 years ago,but is now things change.Really it doesn't matter who brought this in,it is fact that it is Europe wide and that is the point I was making. If this is deemed dangerous then riding a speedway bike with 3 other guys alongside you into the sun should also be deemed dangerous.Tha fact is speedway promoters must be pro active about this and not just willy-nilly delay meetings until the sun goes down
  20. http://www.fr-online.de/kreis-gross-gerau/dieburg--sprungturm-steht-falsch,1473014,22558408.html Was big news here
  21. Waiting for Humph to confirm.Maybe he has a next door neighbour who was affected by this ruling?
  22. Worth every penny. At those speeds, on these tracks It isn't easy to ride 2 or 3 foot behind the other riders.but these guys do it with precision!!!!
  23. Having been a motorbike rider for over 20 years I know how difficult it is to see when the sun is low and directly in front of you.Not sure tinted goggles would be the answer as when you turn out of the sun, would it all seem so dark for a few seconds?Just as dangerous maybe. Not sure your eyes or the goggles can react that fast.To me the answer was a peak on the helmet and to keep my head down as much as poss......
