  1. Looking at Jespers pic it doesn't look like many have turned up so far......
  2. Thought Emil Gröndal was over at Redcar during the week.Guess he is also lined up for a place or didn't it go good?
  3. Supposed to have been lined up fr Newcastle years ago when he first came on the scene.Ok rider, but hasn't really progressed since those days Oops.Didn't realise this was an old thread
  4. I once travelled from London to Aberdeen to watch Celtic play and it was called off.No-one offered me any "there, there cream".I don't think it existed back then.I mean I had to spend a night in Aberdeen with no football.I should have got something like a badge or something, but I just took it on the chin.Lucky there was no internet or I wouldn't half had a grizzle that night i'll tell ya.Now bugger off the net as I can hear the bikes warming up......or go round Phlippys house.I hear he has it live
  5. It is also shown live here, although I suspect it might be blocked for people outside Germany http://www.speedweek.com/bahnsport The postponement has also caused problems for the local Bundesliga meeting with no Lindbäck + Lindgren.Rasmus Jensen + Rene Deddens been brought in at short notice. But the last time this happened when the Esbjerg WC quali was put off until the sunday the riders brought in didn't have their scores included in the final standings and Brokstedt lost. Most of the crowd unfortunately were not informed of this until Smoli(who else) went on the micro at the end.......another case of the promoter keeping the fans in the dark
  6. I guess in their defence the Danish sites seemed to suggest it would be ok.You can't I think expect them to look at the BBC or a German website even if they might have got it correct. It is the same with weather sites everywhere.Who remembers the "There isn't going to be a storm tonight" forecast hours before one of the biggest storms to hit the country?
  7. Hope not until ht12 and then call it a day..........
  8. Even then if they had of kept the covers on it takes a while to get them off and then let the track breath,so when would the meeting start?21:00 or later?Could the tv channels hold until then?
  9. Somehow you just knew it would happen despite the Danish weather authorities saying different Hope it blows over quickly like it did here
  10. In Vojens it is 17:40 Phil Ask someone to change your watch for you
  11. Well we have just had thunder.lightning and heavy rain in North Germany, but for once Vojens seems to be staying dry.Fingers crossed
  12. Actually seems quite good now.Looking at the webcam 3,5 km away on the motorway it seems dry http://webcam.trafikken.dk/webcam/Christiansdal.jpg http://vejret.tv2.dk/vejr/vojens-2610075
  13. That is only what some have been saying on here for a decade at least
  14. It is my opinion that we will have to wait about 6 years or so until the likes of Wajknecht and Kyle Bickley etc are ready to support tai and Robert Lambert. Then with any luck we might have a team to challenge for success.Sadly I don't think Garrity or Howarth etc are going to be able to do that,so it is a waiting game
  15. Personally think it makes sense. The competition comes cheaper(Phil Rising and common sense say's it Must/should)and the local riders can compete.I still think the ticket price to cover the cost exhorbitant, but wonder if the area can cope with two competitions and can Teterow cover the higher costs of a GP and still keep ticket prices reasonable? And then there is imo the question of a track that is as slick if not slicker than Vojens and last year the complaints that it was breaking up.Think there were a number of crashes and near crashes all at the same place.Michi Härtel was out of the meeting in his first race......
  16. Would rather it be in Güstrow.Better race track and the town is better as well.Personally don't like Teterow.Saw a few boring meeting(and it has a reputation as a bad track),but was told a couple of years back by a mate that it had got better and went for last years U21 SWC meet. What happened there was a bit of a protest about the track and the FIM guys including Stekkers came out for an inspection........But at least it is in the right area of Germany, unlike Gelsenkirchen Also seen some 'pie in the sky' stuff from teterow before.I have a programme from about 10 years ago with plans for a super stadium.Don't thik hardly any of that has become rality. Was also news about them hosting an Ice Speedway meeting some years ago and nothing came of that either because they totally messed up how much ice was needed and the costs exploded
  17. Seems no doubt there will be rain.Just a question of for how long and how much. http://www.wetter.com/daenemark/vojens/DK0SJ0033.html
  18. This post is only a few years too late!!!!
