  1. Trouble is,and a few people just don't see it,but Dudek at no time stops......he is still moving when Kildemand hits him.As he is still moving he must technically still be in the race. And you just can't plough into a rider in a race and not be at fault for the stoppage. Now if Dudek had tried to move over to get off the track and a following rider hits him,he could then be said to be at fault, but he doesn't,he just carries on riding albeit slowing down.He is still technically in the race and could get going again and carry on,as I am sure we have seen numerous times.Like Star Lady say's Kildemand morally isn't at fault, but technically is
  2. Finished 5 minutes ago.Sorry Looks like you can watch it though.I won't tell you the score https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcM-KotZeZU
  3. There is live coverage of Grudziadz v Zielona Gora on now.....
  4. It is irrelevant what your opinion is,the ref shared my view
  5. http://www.fyens.dk/modules/mobile/article?articleid=2971812 Because Liglad gets a wild card through as he would rather ride in Poland.Seems Sechers decision not to give him one was overturned. Now Secher has resigned and the riders are up in arms.....
  6. Think there are 1 or 2 threads with a long long list including Zabik father + son,Tomicek father and son,Dryml father and son,Muller father and son,Taylor Glynn and Chum etc Here is one and even on this someone say's "here we go again...." http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=71356&hl=father Another one http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=58949&hl=%2Bkarol+%2Bzabik&do=findComment&comment=1824542
  7. Of course it does.I left out a "not" .... things are not ok.But things being not ok doesn't mean he is out of the race or has an e.f.like I said surely we have all seen a rider have problems and then get going again. To be out o the race i.e an ef or ret you have to be at a standstill, left the track received help from someone or be lapped and he was none of those,so the ref got it right as another rider can't just ride into someone who is still in the race
  8. I am all confused.Jesper is there and has a programme and tells us there will be a final.........but I know Jesper and he is more interested in the polish women anyway
  9. Surely you only have an e.f when you are at a stand still. He was still moving,so still in the race.If his bike had suddenly got power again he could have carried on.We have surely all seen that before.No-one is out of a race just by putting their hands up.It is just a warning to riders behind that things are ok,not a surrender like in wrestling!
  10. To be fair I think his sight line was blocked and he only saw Dudek in the last split second.Dudek was still moving,so Kildemand must be the cause of the stoppage imo and should go.Like everyone else, just glad both are up
  11. Are they busy trying to arrange a periscope stream then?
  12. I saw 7,500 mentioned.Not bad for a crap nothing meeting.Maybe some GPs won't even get that?
  13. Trying to say he is a bit dim.Tells us it is going to be a crap meeting and when it isn't tells us of course it wasn't because they had good equipment.Well if he was so clever he would have known that before the meeting.......just another one who can't admit they got it wrong
  14. Video(hopefully people can see it)of Celina Liebmann, daughter of former Ice Speedway rider Jürgen Liebmann winning the final of a meeting in Cloppenburg today. In red coming from 3rd to 1st https://www.facebook.com/576001299119247/videos/vb.576001299119247/1118841328168572/?type=2&theater
  15. First meetings of the season and this was a test which they seem to be happy with and will carry on doing the same throughout the season. Looks like 01.05 3x 85cc Danish Championship q-finals 07.05 an Old Boys 500cc meeting 21.05 Danish 500cc 1.div meeting between Brovst-Grindsted-Glumsö-Fjelsted 29.05 85cc Jan O.Pdersen Cup
  16. You normally are But I think you and I both hit on the main point "if promoted properly"........were Havelock and Loram's titles promoted properly and used to boost the sport? And who is out there to promote Tai properly? The sport isn't where it is because of a lack of home grown world champs and it isn't where it is because tai won't be riding in the British final. It is quite possible that the Danes saw things wrong and the fans only turn out to see Nicki in big meetings and it made no difference to a league meeting at Vojens or Slangerup.Maybe it was the same for Loram and Havelock and probably at the moment Tai's title would make little difference to attendances at Scunthorpe or King's Lynn
  17. Maybe it is relevant to go right back to the 80s or even 60s.Not sure on that.Looking at recent times it is possibly only TRick + Sweden that have gained from having a world champ.I think even by the time Gollob won his title Poland was on the way down.Maybe Nicki's first title boosted the league in Denmark and that is why they were disappointed it made no difference by 2008......
  18. Did having the 1992 and the 2000 world champ help British speedway?Doesn't seem to me that it did much good. The trouble is,it is not only having a British world champ that is going to make much difference, you need a character that can attract media attention and fans.Even then it takes much more to get the sport out of trouble.I recall a season after Nicki P won 1 of his titles that the Danish clubs were disappointed that it had made little or no difference to their crowds and you can't get a more popular or charismatic speedway rider than Nicki for the danes..... I also linked to a US article "Greg who?" or something in which it mentioned that Hamcock was a relative unknown in his country despite winning his latest title and obviously despite being very patriotic as people have mentioned .I honestly think it is promoters who don't really have a clue how to promote the sport, hoping that by magic, having a British world champ is somehow going to do their job for them
  19. 85cc on now and in 2 hours a 500cc meeting should be shown from Brovst http://osderelskerspeedway.dk/ Just gone offline, but hopefully back soon.programmes at bottom of page.Couple of Norwegians and a German rider amongst the Danes
  20. If Ecclestone thinks F1 is like The Rolling Stones without Mick Jagger at the moment,is British speedway like Gerry without the Pacemakers?
  21. Didn't he get a lot of national media coverage after he won the title? That sort of thing attracts 'new' people i'd have thought
  22. All well and good, but I thought we already had it proved to us on a previous thread that NO,he couldn't ride for Australia as he doesn't qualify under the rules unless they make a special case for him as a top sportsman. It isn't though an easy choice of who he rides for according to the experts as he left Australia before his 16th birthday......
  23. Like Dutchie, watch it if you want, watch something else if you don't want.....I think even in a world pairs championship the pairs could change from meeting to meeting.Main thing I the action is good. But it does seem there is a t of a problem that the sponsors didn't know that instead of 70 countries showing the meetings it seems only 7 are!!! http://www.speedweek.com/speedwaybp/news/89755/Speedway-auf-Eurosport-Das-Luftschloss-von-One-Sport.html
