Belle Vue Vs King's Lynn May 2nd
iris123 replied to Star Lady's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Fingers crossed for this one,not only for Belle Vue and British speedway, but particularly for my mate 'conkers' who I am sure is desperate to get a few photos of actual racing -
Anyway ignoring the knobs attempts to bring yet another thread down to his stupid level,my hopes of getting to a meeting soon have been dashed yet again. There is a meeting going on at the moment at my local track. But unfortunately due to family commitments I couldn't attend.I was hoping to get to the track a bit further away on Thursday, but they have already called the meeting off!!!Which means if I want to get to a meeting Thursday i'll have to travel 2 hours or more....

Comedy Gold, just like one of the other Admin getting all upset because he has posted 70 or 80 photos and no-one has made a comment!!!! Dream team you are

I don't 'claim' anything. He stated you got on his nerves and upset his wife previously,so he set up a site that you are not welcome to join. That was enough for me and others to follow And from what I hear you hounded another guy(Omar) off one site, probably because he was posting more interesting stuff than you and also had the sense to block you Your own site that weird world thing is just copying stuff from elsewhere and getting hardly any response the last time I looked, which say' it all

Speedway Champions League ?
iris123 replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
According to you rmando is never to blame for anything!!! I wonder just what he does then apart from avoid taking the blame for all the problems that have occurred during his reign. He isn't just a figure head is he???Of course after all the disasters we have had during his reign he should shoulder a fair proportion of the blame I suppose you believe Sepp Blatter when he say's he had nothing to do with and had no knowledge of all the buying votes for World Cup Finals as well? -

It was slightly strange if it is what we got in Germany through youtube....saw everything, but as soon as they interviewed a rider the sound went dead and we could hear the stadium announcer etc until they went back to the studio and all was ok again!!!! Great stuff though for free,so I am not complaining about not being able to hear riders going on about why they lst points or went well as it is all usually boring stuff. So no complaints from me. -
For 99% of the population,no,but we are dealing with 'gustix' here who has a long history of not being able to understand the simplest of matters

Neither do Crystal Palace play near the old Palace that they took their name from.Neither do Millwall play in the area they took their name from or Arsenal either.....

I don't appear on the Wimbledon site or anywhere else as far as you are concerned as I and a number of others have blocked you.You even upset someone so much that they decided to start their own Wimbledon site which a number of us use John Hyam free

Think we want to keep this thread live and not let knobhead do his normal stuff unless it leads to another quick ban, then I am all for it

The things is i'd guess those people, the 16% were also complaining on days when speedway was run......so part of the 84% also.Which puts all their compaints even on days when speedway were run in question.Which imo greatly reduces this 84% as it has been shown that they will just complain without reason.Or do we think that these people have only complained on days when speedway wasn't run?Strange conclusion

2016 Speedway Gp Qualifiers
iris123 replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
In a way that especially with Bjarne and Klindt say's it all.Though I don't really think Klindt is on his way back as far as challenging for international honours.Kildemand,Madsen and even Liglad were just out of the scheme before Erik came along.Michelsen and Bech don't look like they are going to fullfill the early promise and after them who is there that Philip told us were coming on better than the others? They seem to have levelled off, just like Klindt and Hougaard did before In a much smaller way Austria mirrors this in that it seems the once promising Gappmaier has now made way for the once controversial entry into the U21 world final as he had been knocked out in a previous round,Fritz Wallner -
2016 Speedway Gp Qualifiers
iris123 replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Let's face it,outside of the GP riders there are very few who I would like to see in the GPs anyway. The general quality of speedway now is quite poor,or shall we say,the top boys have now quite a gap between themselves and the rest.I'd even say if you look at individual countries the standard in quite a lot has dropped considerably.Finland,Sweden and Germany have no new riders come on the scene in the past decade that can challenge for a place.Even the great new wave of Danes that Philip told us Erik Gundersen was training up have failed to arrive so far....and Austria have to turn back the years and call upon Fritz Wallner, who wasn't much cop a decade ago,so. -
Speedway Champions League ?
iris123 replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
One disaster after another under Castagnas reign and I fear this won't be the last of them...... -
Would be something of a miracle if it was the same person then......as it is I think spiegal is a former team manager of Australia,so if he say's he is positive Jack is dead, then is there a need to question that?

Saw a little film and interview with Alcides Ghiggia(Uruguay) during the last world cup.He was the oldest living world cup winner at the time and scored the goal in the final to beat Brazil on their home ground http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/uruguay/10900135/World-Cup-2014-Meet-Uruguays-Alcides-Ghiggia-the-man-who-broke-Brazils-heart.html An interesting list of sporting centenarians. )https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_centenarians_(sportspeople) Not sure why the link doesn't work, but you have to click on the alternative given grrrr

Two of the German 1954 world cup winners are still alive,i think. Hans Schäfer born in 1927 and Horst Eckel born in 1932

Nearest track is a 45minute drive, but only has 3 meetings a year. For more I have to either drive 75 minutes to a track that hosts 2 meetings or I am driving 2 hours to the next tracks, one of which is in a different country
