  1. Apparently this is the music that Russia will come out to in their SWC campaign!!!!!Carrying on from the military style music played at Ufa during the ice speedway season https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alejKZhngvg
  2. And it is in gustix' favourite bold font,so no excuse there. He won't be able to read this though
  3. What i have been saying for years. This is where the glory lies for Chris. He doesn't have a chance in hell of winning anything big in speedway, but a Longtrack title or also a Euro title on grass is well within his ability
  4. Maybe it would be a good suggestion that people post in bold font in this section as some of our members are getting on in years and have trouble reading in a normal font,so it seems?
  5. New line-up 1. Emil Sayfutdinov 2. Andrey Kudryashov 3. Artem Laguta 4. Viktor Kulakov.
  6. Guess there is nothing like blowing your own trumpet.Popular theme here But he does seem to have overlooked major factors such as the Russians stopping the Germans getting their hands on the oilfields,Montgomery pushing the Germans out of North Africa or even the US joining the war.All at least as significant if not more so
  7. Have a feeling this is going to come back and bite someone on the 'arris quite often
  8. Do you ever wake up in Penge, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and just get the feeling,'today i am just going to go with the flow and be care free"?
  9. He isn't sure what to put in the search.......
  10. Tbh i thought gustix was Spartacus. He's almost everyone else
  11. But you started by saying When all it shows is that if you go about organising something you can get it done. Now do you know if anyone has tried to organise something similar in the UK and has been turned down by H+S?I bet you don't
  12. You seem to be missing the point. That looks organised and i bet it was. They didn't just turn up unexpected and ride round did they? But even if they did,so could you do that sort of thing in any country.Just turn up,stop the traffic and ride round for a minute then bugger off before the cops get there.Nothing to do with H+S.Just like kids used to ride round Mitcham Common on trials bikes. Was a fairly common(excuse the pun) problem near where i used to live......
  13. They race on frozen lakes in Germany as well.......on the few occasions in recent times when it has been cold enough. But you get all those blokes out in summer with their loud Harley's or even those bloody quads riding through towns and cities.Tbh it is ridiculous how loud some of these things are.So i honestly doubt if someone wanted to get things done,it wouldn't be impossible to organise.Big trouble in the UK is first i doubt anyone has had the idea and hardly anyone has the right contacts to get things done..... Wouldn't mind betting that something like this could be organised during the Isle of Man tt week etc,but who wants to? Have also seen one German rider saying "only in poland, culdn't do it any where else",which is also crap.Edit:Sorry wasn't a rider, but a riders dad.Which is just as bad as he is involved in promoting the sport at one track.... Just in Hamburg they close down the motorway twice a year.Once for a big parade of bikes after a mass at one of the main churches in hamburg. And then for a parade of bikes after the Harley Days weekend. If you are willing to get out and organise something,it is possible to achieve.Better though to just blame H+S or someone else https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jsRt1C3yJY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=To55XpJSVVM
  14. Why?Looks like the place was cordoned off to traffic,so down to the organiser to get in touch with the authorities.Doubt anyone in Britain has ever thought of doing it and doubt it would be H+S that turn it down.More to do with the amount of traffic and chaos caused.Fact is in a few places in Poland speedway is fairly important. Not sure you can say that about Britain.
  15. Neither does that big bully Jack Parker, but he still mentioned him
  16. Strange viewpoint from someone who say's one of his speedway idols was Jack Parker. The same Jack Parker who threatened to kill a young Ronnie Moore if he got in his way on track.Guess that sort of behaviour is nothing against a swear word though.Or is it ok to threaten such things because Parker wasn't a world champion?
  17. Thought we had that cleared up,that after the year Hans went well and was told his points didn't officially count, the rule was changed......but who knows.Maybe not
  18. Isn't it a strategy Denmark have used before?Thought they(previous management)like the idea of getting track time in at the Race-Off.Always a gamble and taking the p slightly out of their home crowd.Hope lots of tickets already sold
  19. Surely there is still time for Hampel to come back and score more than Harris and relegate him to #16?Nothing against Chris, just wondering if your statement is correct? Also possible that someone else is out injured and Jepsen Jensen comes in and relegates Harris to #17......though not likely,i agree
  20. After a lot of criticism for his last GP,ref Jesper Steentoft seemed to have a decent meeting last night.Best Dane in the meeting
  21. Hamilton has a history of being un-dignified http://www.telegraph.co.uk/formula-1/2016/03/16/lewis-hamilton-history-of-gaffes-misdemeanours-and-bad-behaviour/ http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/lewis-hamilton-slammed-not-removing-cap-during-minute-silence-justin-wilson-1518691 http://www.bild.de/sport/motorsport/formel1/hamilton-verweigert-aussprache-mit-rosberg-46643882.bild.html
  22. Hard to hold Hamilton up as a great person either.Came in for a lot of criticism lately because he stood on the podium twirling his cap whilst the National Anthem of his rival was being played.Quite disrespectful.......
  23. Just watching the meeting now on the net,but knowing the result,is this the first time there has been no Danish riders in the top 8?
