I do remember Dorothy Charles-Batson.She was indeed involved in the Dons supporters club, would often be in the programme, especially end of season dance sorta stuff and wore glasses if i am correct
Yes,i remember visiting on a Bank Holiday trip, first to Oxford and then afterwards Newport ,and Streety was a totally different rider to the previous seasons on that bike.At least in the first few months
I really really hope the FIM do not include Jannick in the line-up.Pleeeeeeaaase can someone tell them and help stop The Penge Pensioner getting all confused again
Not going to happen. The amount of time i have been here and the number of idiots i have seen come and go and have even had threats from former announcers etc.Water off a ducks back to me.More chance of Zielona Gora belonging to Germany again than me going
Think a mention for Wieslaw Jagus is missing. Was a bit erratic in his GP season, but made a few semi finals and one final.Bit unfashionable, but could possibly be placed in the top 5 instead of another Pole?I woud definitely have Boris and Igor, just for the names alone
Don't know his name but the Marshall at Plough Lane in the 70s was very tidy.Think the team also done the Wembley Finals at that time as well.....
And that guy they got over from Oz was a breath of fresh air with his waving flags whilst jumping around like a lunatic act.Paul ????
I'll put a couple of names out there for discussion and let you add to the list
Frank Ebdon
Krister Gardell
Reg Trott
er,can't think of anyone else apart from one or two dodgy Polish officials,so i won't name them even if i could remember how to spell their names. And a woman ref.....
Think you are right on both accounts.Seem to remember Kyle injured himself in his first ride.Like you say,he probably wouldn't have qualified, but then i doubt many would have given him a chance in that semi final
And yes,i have never heard of Len Dillon
