The basic question is who should be penalised.A couple of whinging Aussies who think they are above the sport and the fans or the two riders they would have kicked out of a job if Buster had given them enough notice? Two riders who had possibly done nothing wrong at all......Why risk upsetting two loyal riders(maybe, i don't know ,a Brit)for these two?

Yes,wasn't he flying out to Andorra?I was wondering if there was some connection with Kylmäkorpi.Thought he lived there now.Maybe the reason was he found some specialist there after all his injuries -
Think they are just going by the examples on this forum rather than Poole fans in general

Think there are normally streams for the ice speedway in Togliatti. And very good ones at that. Can only hope that continues for this meeting -

Well I was at the Hosted v Fjelsted meeting shown on Danish TV last week.It was free to get in and they had a crowd of 4,100+,when their average attendance is more like 1,500+.But they looked like they made decent money from food and drink sales, which in their case goes to the speedway club.Of course in the UK that isn't always the case
-
Does this not show another 'speedway shambles'? If I am right Daugavpils could make it into the final or even win the final but not be allowed to move up?Which makes the final somewhat of a farce. Not that it is so unusual. One of my local football teams has won the regional Hamburg league 3 times in a row,but refused promotion on each ocassion. But that at least was their choice
-
It would i guess be possible to put a ban on them that starts when they sign a contract, ignoring the winter break of course.Or a fine that is to be payed when they ride in the league again. So anyone who signs them knows they will have to miss a month or two at the start of next season,or when they cme to ride they have to pay the fine before they start etc

I thought that group sort of died when another was formed because you upset a few and they wanted to get away from you? -

Maybe this is of help Probably just trying to see what response they get before going further. So i guess this is just a post on a speedway group at the moment. And you either post a response there or e-mail the person -
Hard to know if you are on a wind up with some of the stuff you have come out with. The football thingmy and now this belter!!!!

Not only that the system basically means signing away any independance and you are going to be as good or bad as the Polish team you have a deal with.If a Polish team has a few riders who can't ride because of visa problems or because they won't(and lets not think the Poles can force everyone to ride.A sick note and you can forget it)then you have the leftovers, whilst your rivals have a deal with a team who have some strong youngsters and a couple of other middle order riders. You are pretty much saying the Polish team manager is the guy who is running your team as well. The sport is in bad shape now,but that would drive fans away in big numbers You also are at the hands of possible chaos when your partner club gets relegated or gets into financial problems or just doesn't want to work with you anymore...
-
Personally i think it better for the future we try to bring our riders on rather than some guy stuck on the sidelines of a Polish club
-
All you are going to get is anyone who isn't deemed good enough for the Polish side.In their squad will still possibly be riders from other teams,so rule them out.So basically you are talking about losing one of your best riders for some young Pole who hasn't made the grade in Poland. They aren't too keen on releasing riders for meetings in germany on the saturday as they want everyone there for training etc..Great.Would it not be better for our country to use a rider from the NL then?
-
See there is a weakness in the idea straight away. You are suggesting forceing riders to do something.Something they might not want to.Is it not easier to get our riders to sign up to give us priority rather than dealing with other clubs riders telling them they have to ride in the UK?Maybe just me but i find it unworkeable
-
Some ideas. What if the polish club want Jason Doyle for good polish wages, but none of the polish clubs riders want t come over for UK wages? We have riders moaning about 200 quid for the meeting yesterday and they are generally used to the wages.Riders n Poland haven't always wanted to ride in the UK for one reason or another.I they want to send someone who hasn't got a visa r doesn't want to ride for the small wage packet the whole thing goes wrong.Holta and the Lagutas for instance haven't shown any enthusiasm That is without the problem of losing a good rider for one with no experience of the tracks,so robbing the fans who pay to get in.And anyway,i am not really sure of the difference between a large squad and a team of 7 riders with numerous guests.....

More than welcome to.But why would they be wasting their time in the UK? As said before,if they don't like the wages or the tracks or the weather or the food or any combination, stay at home.Nobody makes them come to the UK.If there is an alternative route to the top let them take it.ne or two have used Denmark as a first step, but where do they go after Denmarks saturday league? The American champ,Mike Bast said about the UK something like the weather was crap and the wages even worse,as to his reason why he didn't come.Fair enough. His opinion and he done what he thought was best for him -
Teams for wednesday, and looks to me as if Holsted are a good bit weaker again. Not worth me travelling up for this when i have to pay to get in ESBJERG VIKINGS 1: A: Niels-Kristian Iversen 2: C: Michael Palm Toft 3: B: Artur Czaja (PL) 4: B: Rene Bach 5: D: Kasper Andersen HOLSTED TIGERS 1: A: Krzysztof Buczkowski (PL) 2: B: Rasmus Jensen 3: B: Bjarne Pedersen 4: C: Jonas Jeppesen 5: D: Sam Jensen

I am just pointing out how your football reference is ridiculous.Surely you can see that the sort of thing you are trying to solve just doesn't,'t happen in football and probably any other sport,so bringing football into your solution is a poor example
-
Stoke City have just started a partnership with my local club in Hamburg.I will tell you what won't happen. If one of St.Pauli's players is scoring a lot of goals Stoke won't be able to say come over to us for a game next week and we will send one of our players over for a game.We will see if you go well and you could play a few more games for us while still having a few games in Germany when we don't need you Total nonsense that doesn't happen.End of

There is no doubt the quality of line-up has dropped over the past 3 years.Certainly from last year to this year a fair bit.Nicki being injured,Emil going to the GPs and now Laguta being banned. We are moving back to how the European Championship used to look before One Sport took over. The future might well be in doubt for this style of series. Not sure how long the contract lasts. That isn't to say you can't get good speedway with such a line up,but i attended the earlier version and know how many it attracted,or should i say,how few. Of course though, the weather takes its toll.I won't even consider leaving the house now for a meeting where the weather is anything less than good.I still wonder about that Güstrow crowd.Numbers from 4,000 to 5,000,but i was at Holsted on wednesday where the crowd was over 4,000 and Güstrow looked far more than that.Bends 1 and 2 at Holsted were sparsely populated and nowhere looked overly crowded
