  1. As i posted before the first GP,Teterow has a reputation as a gate and go track.Fairly boring, but got even worse around the time just before they were awarded the GP Was trouble with the track at the 2014 U21 world team semi-final.Härtel fell and was out injured in his first heat and at the same part of the track there were a number of incidents afterwards.Jan Steachmann(the top FIM guy there)plus i think it was a finnish ref came out and inspected the track at one point.I think because of protests by the Australian team, but not sure on that.Maybe Johnny the spud was there and can say what happened?I know Nick Morris' father was there and is also a member of the forum...... Anyway i think it was the next season that the track caused more controversy because of it poor state and the senior riders refused to ride their part of the meeting, but the juniors did ride.......
  2. Think it took gustix many prompts and over a year before he eventually got round to answering why he thought Mike Bast was one of the best ever riders.......in the end it was all a disappointment as he couldn't justify the claim. So just trolling as usual i think
  3. You are the one who thinks taking a moral stand against a speedway rule is so important that you won't even attend meetings where the rule isn't in use and never let an opportunity pass to tell us.Yet don't make the same sort of stand against the church.Srange.So i couldn't get under the rock, because you have taken up residence a long time ago
  4. Neither do i.No namens were mentioned, but if you feel it is aimed at you, then the truth hurts
  5. Rules are obviously very important to some people I guess to some speedway rules are almost the most important thing there could be.I mean on the one side you have the catholic church and all the child abuse scandals and on the other side you have the double point rule in speedway. Now facing a choice what would most people make a stand against? Yes,but we have someone who still attends church despite all these terrible actions by catholic church members, but decides the double point rule is the limit and won't attend a speedway meeting until it is dropped!!! A strange world indeed
  6. For all the stick the GP got(i did say it wasn't a good track before a GP was held)i was amazed to see on Facebook a long post copied by the stadium announcer which praised the GP,saying although the person wasn't a motorsport fan he thought it was all top class!!! Which shows that maybe he hasn't been to a better stadium etc,but as a first timer had a totally different view to most here including me
  7. Yes,always wary of what he say's or posts. This is the exact wording....
  8. Interesting to see Egon talking about the 1983 season and saying he won 79 from his 84 heats that year!!! 84 heats seems quite a low number for a season though???
  9. Hang on i thought their fan on here was always telling us they were the best club.Well best on the internet.Only trouble is speedway isn't ridden on the internet, but on dirt tracks!!!!
  10. You do though constantly put the sport down, constantly compare it to stock cars to put it in a bad light, even went so far as to get some stock car fans to join the forum to help promote the other sport, have stated that your years involved with speedway were wasted years and have only been 3 or 4 years out of the last 25 seasons or so.So for this thread which is about losing interest in attending, you are a lost cause and will never ever go regularly again,i think i am right in saying You do complain about how the sport is run,but have never really expanded on that and have never as far as i knw ever put a way of doing better on here......... You were actually involved in the sport just at the time it went into its greatest ever decline from the 40s into the 50s and on to the 60s when it finally pulled itself out of trouble,by which time i think you were no longer as closely involved any more
  11. Not at all. When weighing up someones career everything is taken into account surely? Not just the things you want taken into account But it does bring us back to the question asked a number of times now.Just what has Tai done that has offended you so much and you don't seem to want to put in the past? I'd agree with that Dave
  12. Can absolutely understand your view. What i find hard to understand is how it can get a 'like' from someone who was busy trying to promote a meeting with a team made up of 'guests'.i.e a team that was purely made up becauee they don't exist any more!!!!!My team,Wimbledon
  13. Yes,i agree.I can understand Franky Zorn for instance only when he speaks english!!!! Günther Bauer is pretty much the same
  14. Zagar said after last nights GP that he is worthy of getting a wildcard, but he wants to earn a top 8 place and that early season he made the wrong decisions regarding his bikes http://www.speedweek.com/speedwaygp/news/115665/Teterow-Sieger-Matej-Zagar-Falsche-Entscheidungen.html
  15. So as has been stated you have lost interest(not losing) in attending even if someone offers to pick you up and take you to a meeting. interest
  16. No,they are not TWK stays away because of 1 rule!!! There are a number of meetings throughout the season that run without this rule, yet he still doesn't go to any individual meetings or NL meetings etc.......
  17. There was something recently on the internet in Germany. A poll asked people in Bavaria if they were in favour of independence from Germany.33% said they were. What the other 67% said couldn't be understood I sort of felt like that one day in the Inzell press room, when they were giving out instructions to the people working at the stadium.Could understand one word in every 6 or 7..... Was also an interesting piece in the paper a few days ago about who will follow Seehofer as party leader for the CSU in Bavaria. One candidate was said to be good, but had the disadvantage of coming from the Franken area, which is a protestant area outside the main core catholica area of the party..Marcus Söder
  18. Interesting comment on the Teterow GP thread when asked who would you name as an unworthy world champion, someone said the obvious choice would be -Gary Havelock. You pays your money and make your choice,so to say. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=84879&page=7
  19. In all honesty this is what teterow is like in most conditions.Gate and go and very hard to pass
  20. How can they have missed the camera man on the track!!!! I think there was a problem with a green light, they say
  21. Yes,because Wall and Val were contemporaries of the others and also of roughly the same class!!!hahahahahaha har Yes,because Wal and Val were contemporaries of the others and also of roughly the same class!!!hahahahahaha har
  22. Of our world champs Havelock must rate quite low I think.Maybe even at the bottom of the list.Remember seeing him while he was at Middleborough and he was an exciting prospect
  23. In my opinion the racing got slowly better as the meeting went on.The final was the best race,no doubt, but a few other races were at the very least, interesting.Have seen worse meetings for sure
