  1. You are on a few forums I think.Probably best to ask them on there. For me,I don’t really care.I have been to speedway meetings and seen other Motorsports as an added ‘attraction’ and found them mostly uninteresting.I even went a number of times to auto racing at Plough Lane,as one of my grandads worked at the stadium for the St.John’s,during what was possibly the hey-day of Duffy Collard,Barry Lee,Foxy Dance etc
  2. Seems though in the news today it confirms the football club have the ok to build and hope to move into a new stadium in 2020
  3. Brings a tear to the eye,this
  4. Split Waterman is old enough to have!!! When I first went to the Bridge the track was still there I seem to remember, but never saw anything but football and fisticuffs
  5. As I said it is a counter to the rather strange morals of one of the posters on here. And no idea if he wrote the article on this museum site, but it does seem to be a Hyamism to try and wash over his criminal life sort of pretend to be not sure if he spent time doing porridge or not!! What he did after his speedway career can in no way denigrate his achievements, but does his character. And I am surprised that at the height of his fame and when 18,000 are turning up for a meeting only 4!!! fans turn up to protest for him. And after all Hyam has in a number of articles mentioned speedway riders careers after speedway running motorbike shops or inventing devices etc.Their off- track escapades are deemed interesting, but someone gun running machine guns is all a bit fuzzy...,
  6. Depends where you draw the line between colorful character and hardened criminal,i guess.A couple of machine guns and other weapons plus all the rest to make 4 years porridge tends to put him in the hardened criminal category. But of course he gets special dispensation being a speedway rider What makes it even more ridiculous,as I mentioned is gustix seems ok with the prison sentence for those crimes, but has an issue with Tai Woffinden appearance and behavior!!!What sort of morals are they?
  7. Here is a bit from an online site that mentions Split a few times Cooper confirmed in court during the Kray trial that he’d made a living from gold smuggling, something to which Kapur was also connected. Two months before he was busted for manufacturing LSD, Kapur acted as a crown witness at Bow Street where he testified against former speedway champion Squire Francis ‘Split’ Waterman and three others who were charged with ‘attempted illegal export of gold, receiving gold bars, and possessing firearms and counterfeiting equipment’. This was reported in The Times of 23 September 1967. The case against Waterman ran in part that he’d been cutting and smelting gold from a bullion robbery in Clerkenwell, and that he’d enlisted Kapur’s aid in choosing and purchasing a furnace with which to do it. Likewise The Times of 19 July 1968 reported that in court testifying against the Krays, Cooper confirmed he was acquainted with Split Waterman who he knew to be both a gold smuggler and an arms dealer. Under the headline ‘Four-Year Term For Split Waterman’, The Times of 20 March 1968 had already reported that the police believed Waterman to be a gun-runner as well as a gold smuggler. Reporting on the Kray trial on 20 July 1968, The Times records the claim that Waterman had fitted up an attaché case with a hypodermic syringe loaded with hydrogen cyanide, so that Cooper could furnish it to a third party who was to carry out an assassination for the Kray brothers. At the time this seemed an utterly fantastic escapade, but such methods of assassination were later taken up by eastern bloc security agencies. It is impossible for me to say exactly what Waterman, Cooper and Kapur, were doing; but it is reasonable to conclude that they were known to each other and collaborated on what were either criminal or intelligence enterprises, and possibly both
  8. Having seen the guy once making a fuss at the Gelsenkirchen ticket office,he is your typical small person with a chip on his shoulder type.Maybe feeling a hand on that shoulder soon one way or another
  9. You obviously don't know me.I wouldn't have done anything, but now you keep twating on,then....we have to wait and see what Andy say's over the next week or so Nuff said, for now
  10. Believe what you want. There will only be proof if a paper decides to run the story or if the guy mentions the police have contacted him. That is the 100% proof. Not me saying I have done something
  11. Nice.I think that makes it all clear enough
  12. I could post anything on here, that again wouldn’t be evidence!!I could post that you are clever, but would be a lie!!!You don’t seem to understand what evidence is.You don’t seem to understand much at all
  13. The twit Floyd said he was going to provide the evidence and came up with diddly squat!!! I am ready to go ahead and make a few contacts, but one post on its own makes no sense
  14. If you can post the one or two teeets before,so this has an actual context then we are in business. Thanks
  15. It is indeed a good book and let’s hope this does at least give the sales a boost
  16. I was actually out to a Christas market with a couple of people. But I thought it would give you time to keep your word and post the evidence.I just posted some advice here and that would have been that, but you piped up with your idiocy. So now keep your word and then I will keep mine and as stated I will also contact one or two local papers with the evidence as well So either put up or shut up twinkle
  17. I have reported someone to an MP for a post on this forum.I received a thank you email and strangely enough the poster stopped posting on that particular topic and in the tone they did before. In fact stopped posting much at all. If you want to provide the evidence I have no problem doing the same on this. Thanks for your help in advance Also worth getting in touch with a local newspaper...,
  18. Just because someone posts something on here that doesn’t count as evidence does it?You really are an idiot if you think it does!!!another new troll!!Just what we needed
  19. No you are being pathetic.I helped him with some info on the whereabouts of the DHL base for instance What might be considered pathetic is calling Split Waterman a ‘colorful character’ even though he was improsoned for smuggling gold bullion and a couple of machine guns, but seem to think Tai Woffinden is the devil incarnate for the heinous crime of having a couple of tattoos!!! This is a forum for debate and posts are there to be be questioned and gain a reaction both positive and negative. Why should anyone just ignore things? If someone don’t want a debate then I guess there are other places for that like a personal website
  20. You wear your ignorance like a badge of pride Firstly I don’t have any evidence to report him as I am not and never said I was on twitter and haven’t seen the post.I was just giving some advice to the person who did.Understand so far? Then it would be the police who deal with it,not the government!!You do understand how things work in the country?Seems not
  21. Tell me what is pathetic about my post?4 people did turn up to protest. That is the truth. The number of fans turning up might be considered pathetic I guess, but making a comment that is fact isn’t.If anyone’s post is pathetic then it is yours
  22. Exactly. But as a civilized country we have signed international agreements on how to deal with these people and they don’t include some extremist idea of drowning people.Deal with them properly and also deal with extremists on the internet properly. As i said the guy should be reported to the police and let the law deal with him.Nuff said
  23. Maybe. But it is a crime to advocate killing or drowning people in U.K. law and we don’t like criminals,do we?
  24. Think that falls into internet hate and should be reported to the police. If the post is still there with a link or a screenshot? https://www.gov.uk/report-hate-crime Ford should also have a word in his shell like to clean his act up.I know sponsors are usually having words with football clubs to sort out their image, but at least once i know of where a club had a word with their sponsor, because they were employing agency workers from. Hells Angels run firm
