I'm sure you had many season's of success in the old premier league. You've only stuttered since you came up a league.

Not talking about re-declaration, all teams are due to get new averages as from tomorrow according to Rosco. Not all riders will have achieved their 4/4 altho' all the teams apart from a few riders have. The rule states that in these circumstances the BSPA can impose averages on those riders based on the rides they have had this season.
-
What about Danny Grapmier as Berwick are away at Ipswich on that night?
-
And maybe the riders who haven't completed their 4/4 by the time the team does, will have an imposed average based on their number of rides as per the rule! Will the BSPA have the bottle to do this?
-
This is a reply to post to Matt K's post 2390 where he states that this rule is now obsolete & will not be used.
-
If that is so, why haven't they issued new averages as we are 1 month past the deadline for 4h & 4a. It's my guess that have been bottling it because they are not sure what to do. Rosco says the new averages will be out the day after we have completed our next home meeting on 15/6.
-
Rules quite clearly state 4h & 4a. New averages were intended to come in by May 1st & MC have right to impose new averages if 4h & 4a not reached. Having left it so long, surely it would not be fair to riders who have already reached their 4h & 4a. Rule as below 16.2.7 A SGB Premiership or Championship League rider will establish an MA after 4 Home and 4 Away fixtures, becoming effective 7 days after the last qualifying Meeting. Should an Established MA not be achieved to be effective from 1st May, then the MC may issue a revised MA, based upon actual rides if the Team re-declares.

It's easy to see the averages for this season go to the BSPA website & look at the averages column that comes first not the green sheet averages. These are the averages that will come into effect once the 4h + 4a have been ridden, Ellis's 7 on Wednesday will not affect his average as he has already completed his 4a meetings.

Everybody seems to forget that the Robins are stronger away from the Abbey at the moment! I find our away fixtures too difficult to call at present, can be 10 down going into heat 13 & still come away with a point.
-
I like your sense oh humour, more likely to be August 2018 if at all for the new stadium. I won't believe anything about the new stadium until it is up & finished!

Spot on. Remember it well but that was before riders decided that wet tracks were too dangerous! -

This season is getting to be a joke! At this rate the new averages won't come in until after the cut-off date for team changes! -
I think you will find he means Miedinski when he says Judas. He's still a Robin's asset for all the use that is, can't see anybody using him on his present average which must be fairly high.

Robin's site says new date for meeting to be announced later. Why didn't they just re-arrange it for Thursday, it's a reserved date! -

Not strictly true as rules state that BSPA can if averages not attained by 1st May then BSPA can impose averages based on actual rides. Not at sure as to when this likely to happen as we are way past that date. -
Might be useful if he had a low score tomorrow, to enable Rosco to make team strengthening changes. Ellis would be very useful at reserve, ask Poole.
-
And then so have you!

Wolves V Poole 29/5/17 6 Pm
DunRobin replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hard to disagree with that. That was probably one of the worst Poole teams that I have seen. 16 riders rode for you that season. -
Always get the feeling that when a Poole rider doesn't score points riding for another club at the start of the season, his average is lowered, he's released & hey ho, he's back at Poole & scoring points for fun. I've never been a fan of signing Poole assets, they seem to need the sea air to maintain their form! Never was a fan of the aggregate scores, it favours the tracks that are pure homers. Ride on a track like Belle Vue or Swindon where there is no home advantage & you are at a disadvantage.
-
Seriously Greaves scoring points. You wouldn't be saying that if was riding for the Robins. His season average based on this season is a point lower than the Budgies reserves.

I seem to remember that Nick has dual nationality. I think that he didn't need a visa when there was all that problem with the Aussie's visas.

Won't give you much indication of how quick the engines are tho'. Judging by how he rode at Swindon, it might show how robust they are, judging by how many times he used to complete 4 laps.
-
Misunderstood you, I thought you were referring to the upgrade work. It's possible that sea level increase might affect the Poole Stadium before Stadium UK put any money into re-furbishment! I believe their pockets are deeper than Willy Carson's & he has never been known to take any money out of his pocket but he's quite willing to put money in!

There's plenty of houses around the Abbey Stadium now but that hasn't speeded up the building of the new stadium. A lame snail would be quicker than Stadia's UK's building progress, me thinks!
