  1. You mean the team that got trounced by Poole are going to run us close!
  2. Now come on, be sensible, even Matt Ford couldn't that much of a drastic action. Perhaps he not going to read the rules, so that he won't be able to bend them. Instead he can claim mistake due to ignorance of the rules. ( sorry imagine laughing face, Emojis won't post for some reason.)
  3. Disgraceful, sun & booze in the Canaries instead of raising the roof for the Robins!
  4. I've a sneaky feeling that Rye House may creep into that 4th spot. Harris & Nicholls going well at home. KK at reserve for a number of meetings yet, I guess & 5 home meetings & only 2 away.
  5. I think everybody is used to Poole gloating but it is becoming a distant memory, now!
  6. But they don't show in that calculation his 4h/a which he has now achieved & new averages are issued next week when he will be 7.22
  7. No but I think he would have been for the rest of this season if Chapman had allowed him the time to get a team instead of his "it's my ball" schoolboy behaviour.
  8. How do you work that out? If you look at the averages not the GSA declarations, it shows his 4 home & away average to be 7.22. That would make it a toss up between him & Bellego for the heat leader spot.
  9. It doesn't specify reserves have to be eligible or have ridden in NL & it's in the declared 1 - 7. It says 2 riders that have or are eligible for NL. So I think we already have 2 as Morris & Ellis qualify.
  10. Swindon had the same problem when Hans Andersen was riding for them. As I recall we went to Belle Vue with a NL rider as no 1.
  11. Don't kid yourself. You'll never be popular, people only look at this thread so that can enjoy a pop at the master manipulators of the sports "rules".
  12. I think you will find that Batchelor has increased his average his average this season from what was a 5+ average to 7+.
  13. Because his average fits, they have riders on duty for their parent clubs & as d/u & reserve riders, they are allowed guests to cover.
  14. He could have been with BSPA approval. Not sure that he would have got it though. I guess Matt would have snatched up Batch if he could tho'. He would have improved the side surely.
  15. I think you will find that the medical team at Kings Lynn advised him to withdraw. He later attended hospital & was advised that there was no break & only ligament/tendon strain & so he rode the following day, taking a chance as the track at Belle Vue was fine.
  16. Yeah but his ridings probably the same as KK.
  17. Is that division of the guest's average? If it is then Graversen fit's.
  18. Ha Ha the truth gets lost in the mists of time.
  19. Is there any choice for an injured rider's position when the injured rider is fit to return?
  20. If the rider replacing does not have an EL average, don't you divide the guest's average by 1.4?
  21. I do wonder with KKS, he has often been erratic in his scoring but he seems to be on a constant low at the moment. There's no doubt he has the ability to be a top rider but maybe he has lost the desire now. Let's hope for speedway's sake that he can improve. I seem to remember that he nearly became a Robin's asset before riding for Poole. He had signed for the Robins but broke his arm before the season start & as he had not ridden for Swindon before the season start, no facility would have been allowed. Therefore, Swindon brought in another rider & then Poole signed him later in the season.
  22. It amazes me the naivety of some Poole fans! They say the racing was poor. Of course it was, because the opposition was so poor! They say, " we started to pull points back towards the end, yes, of course you did as the Robins eased off of the gas knowing that the match was won. They say that that they have never seen any good racing at the Abbey. Strange, I seem to remember them getting very excited about getting a draw against a very poorly performing Robins side earlier in the season. Poole fans swagger & strut when they're top of the pile but you seem an entirely animal when they lose. Yes SS, I can still see you dancing about that night!
  23. No what we are saying is that once that rider was seen to be riding abroad, the British team should not have been able to continue to use him as it was obvious that this was not a genuine injury replacement! Just sheer cheating & abusing the rules!
  24. Had you not noticed that the Robins only lost to Wolves by 6 points at Monmore when they were riding badly. This may depend on who finishes top as the choice of home or away could be vital in the final. The Robins go to Monmore again on 4th September & that may tell a tale. I think you will find rule 15:3 covers the Morris incident & off 15mtrs is the correct decision.
