Rosco Your Country Needs You.
pirate paul replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Although when Rosco last rode he was still on an upright, sur it won't make much difference though VV. No I agree, stand aside Middlo. Damned if you do damned if you don't and all that. I guarantee that whoever is in charge they would have done no better than you and the same old people would be calling for their head, as they will be next year whoever is in charge. -

Hang on, how is it Middlos fault if the bloody riders can't set a bike up? Does a football manager tell his players to change their studs for longer ones on a wet pitch? Do me a favour. These are proffesional riders who race in Poland week in week out and they should be able to set up their equipment accordingly. The blame lies solely at their door. -

Hans Andersen
pirate paul replied to pirate paul's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Read my post again, I'm not saying they didn't. Just pointing out how ironic it is for Andersen to complain about someone else cheating -
Well never mind Hans, as the saying goes what comes around goes around, and tonight you got yours. But even then you couldn't let it lie, and had to have a dig at the Poles who beat at your own game fair and square. As for your comments on tv tonight, I hope you get a ban/fine, although I don't hold out much hope. Looking forward to your next televised tantrum

COME ON TEAM GB!!! -
I'm amazed at the amount of people on here who speak with so much authority I can only assume they have spent hours in the pits with Neil I don't know the bloke personally but I have heard nothing but good things from the riders he has worked with over the years, so I know whose opinion I will listen to and respect:wink:

Yes yes yes, lets do it! Bombard the bloody BBC until they have to admit defeat. Although the winner will be Lewis Hamilton this year, and thats probably not undeserved either.

Guy Gets Thrown Out Of The Stadium
pirate paul replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Typical steward, they are given a set of rules but have absolutely no comon sense as how to apply them. Same thing happened at St Marys this year, a guy got shoved over the advertising hoarding while celebrating a goal, only to be dragged off and arrested! On a separate not I thought the standard of service in the bars was nothing short of attrocious this year. 30+ minute queus and the stadium wasn't even full! I guess the old saying rings true, pay peanuts and get monkeys. -
Time To Drop The "bomber" Chris?
pirate paul replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think the nickname 'Bomber' is perfect for a speedway rider, especially one who rides like Harris! -
What an amazing night. This is one DVD I will be playing over and over again. Well done Bomber, well done! Quite agree, how sad and pathetic do you need to be to use this victory as a chance to take a dig at another rider?

pirate paul replied to pirate paul's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
