Parken Gp 2013
pandorum replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
You have GOT to be having a laugh! The only part of Eurosport coverage different to SKY was the babbling imbicile who thought the GP was in Moldow and whose inane drivel could be used by the Intelligence Service to break the will of the taliban. A few minor things such as the actual place the GP was taking place in. TAlso the interview sections between races were barely audible which did not happen on SKY. Eurosport coverage was exactly the same as SKY minus the panel who generally had something interesting to say. On the subject of Emil/Matty I felt Matty should have been excluded but admit to bias. It was a tough one for the ref and being in front does not mean you can do whatever you want to the rider behind. -

No fan but Darcy deserved his victory. Best rider on the night by far. Matty gave him a fright though. Great final. Great GP in Moldow. Feel sorry for Freddie and AJ hope they get well soon. My boy still leading and got a lot of luck tonight. Broke my GP run but satisfied with that. Now hoping for a Russia WTC victory. Woffy still in contention and showing just how much he deserves to be in the GP line up. Again well done Darcy. Awesome performance. -

This Moldow GP has been very good. If anybody can find it on a map next year it would be a good addition to the GP series. It's not very often you can say you miss Sudden Sam but this babbling imbicile is beginning to send me insane Who is Vacilak? -

I have seen only 3 GPs this season and Emil has won them all. Wonder if I will keep this up tonight? Darcy looks good as does Holder. Fingers crossed for Emil in this quite fascinating GP in the Danish city of Moldow. Wherever that is! Is the Eurosport bloke on Acid? Greg Honcock I am getting to warm to this bloke -

Tough decision on Matty and I am an Emil fan. But he did basically fence the lad but then Emil should not have been there. Emil had a bit twin of luck. A ) still being in one piece and B ) getting the nod from the ref. The Eurosport commentator is a babbling idiot that makes Sudden Sam seem articulate. 'Welcome back to Moldow' And nice of Nige's brother Kelvin to take over the commentary for him Racing OK so far. -
It's an argument that has been going on since the advent of cassette tape. It's technology and will always be one step ahead of the entertainment industry who have milked the customer ruthlessly for over 50 years. I use such things and have never lost a second of sleep over it. The analogies used here are pretty childish. Copyright ceased to exist the day the Internet went mainstream. I bet those wittering on about it have watched a youtube clip of a recording artist and not bothered to buy that artists work! Big deal. That is life in the 21st century. Get used to it. 'File sharing' has been going on since the cassette tapes appeared and will continue in all it's forms long after we all are dust.

Too early for him mate. He needs to consolidate this year and keep scoring well and he may have a good chance of not needing a wild card next year. Definitely one of the new Polish brigade of young talent. He showed what he was made of last year with some battling 3rd places one of which got his team 3rd place last season. Some stunning performances this year. His time will come!

Gonna give up on this as it seems to be going nowhere see you folks on Saturday and Sunday

The state this sport is in here in the UK is unbelievable The sooner SKY go and the EL dissapears the better. If Hans is indeed owed money then I don't blame him one bit. How many here would work for promises. What with Birmingham in a mess and now obviously Swindon as well how long can this farcial situation go on. The PL is in dire straits with air fences and the EL can't pay it's riders. Drastic measures are needed and we need to say goodbye to guys like Hans and all the cash draining foreign imports who choose to ply their trade abroad. British speedway for British riders and UK based foreigners who commit to our league at around a PL level. Sadly it's probably too late anyway and the sport may collapse once SKY pull the plug

It's not there mate

More like a 2 Bob sport when you see the way the sport has been governed this last few years. The recent air fence edict will spell the death knell for a few PL clubs and the SKY money no longer available will take care of a couple of EL sides. Instead of working together to put the sport into the public eye the back stabbing self centred bunch of idiots laughingly referred to as the 'Promoters' association will kill off the sport effectively by the end of this decade unless they take the drastic measures they should have taken a couple of years ago to get rid of most of the expensive foreign and GP so called stars and nurture some British talent. Flying in riders to get zero points and putting themselves at the mercy of foreign leagues is insanity. The crowd levels prove people don't go to see 'star' riders or the terraces would be filled. A decent track, a bunch of riders who are about the same level and a sensible team building system that favours British and UK based foreigners can avert catastrophe. No guests, R/R restricted to International duties, a sensible squad system based on possibly grading rather than averages and allow the grades to last several years to avoid stripping a successful team of their riders every year. But what will happen......absolutely nothing.

They look lost without Greg Laguta. Very poor apart from PK. -

Funny you should mention but yes :) The man babbles about bugger all and does not seem to know that sometimes silence speaks volumes. -

Why doesn't Dave G just shut up for a while and let the riders get sorted out. It will be a packed house tomorrow. Or at least that's how poor old Nige sees a couple of hundred people -
Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?
pandorum replied to bri1966's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Woffy, Bomber, Cook, and probably Worrall. We are not gonna get to the final so might as well use the two matches to see what the young ones are made of. Woffy should be captain and perhaps leave Bomber out and blood another youngster at Kings Lynn but that might mean non qualification so it's a difficult choice for us. Kennett, King, Barker have had a go and done nothing spectacular so lets plan for the future. Line up will probably be Woffy, Harris, King, and Kennett with Barker on stand by. That should really put us in good stead for the next WTC -
Looking forward to getting my speedway fixes after a lean two weeks. The lad Woffinden continues to impress would be cool to see him in this league.

Tai Woffinden
pandorum replied to David Haddock's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The lad has proved himself more than capable of winning the world title this year. And that is a sentence I never thought I would be able to use in 2013. Only bad luck and Emil Sayfutdinov stand in his way. -
Uk Court Case To Ban Streaming Sports
pandorum replied to uk_martin's topic in International World of Speedway
If they have as much success banning streamers as they did banning The Pirate Bay then I would not worry too much about it And still are. TPB was off line in the UK for less than a week. -
well 2 really good meetings with some big names seemingly forgetting how to ride a speedway bike and some bit players coming up with awesome performances. The usual whingers on the EL section would still find something to moan about with this league but when it's HOT it is HOT. See you folks in 2 weeks time enjoy your speedway

September 13th I have the bootleg. Morrison makes a really cool speech about appearing with his R&R heroes. Not a bad Doors set. Alice Cooper band was there and Alice tells the tale of how the band was ready to quit as everyone was booing them and went on stage thinking this would be it for them and during the set he saw John Lennon at one side with his thumbs up and Jim Morrison on the opposite side smiling and encouraging the band. So luckily they carried on or we would not have had Love It To Death or Killer There is no evidence that Morrison and Lennon ever met Never saw them as was too young to be allowed to go to the IOW in 1970. Przredpelski superbly shepherded his weaker partner around in that last race. That is one of the most amazing performances I have seen in 45 years of watching the sport. Przredpelski was incredible.

I am quite alarmed as Bjerre has obviously been replaced by an alien pod and they have replicated him by draining his mind. But Bjerre is only brilliant at speedway in his own mind and in reality quite poor. So the aliens have made their first mistake let's hope it's not their last Holy #### not once but twice both from back Przredpelski would be the star of the show today if not for the alien

To be honest mate I did not like Ray as a person. He told a lot of lies and the trial between him and the drummer I supported the drummer. As a musician he was one of the greatest keyboard players of the 60s. Just not that nice a person But that's a view non of my mates in the band or who will be at the gig share so will be a talking point as I have not seen them since Ray died :) And they have been my fave band for well over 40 years

International Best Pairs - 8th June (eurosport)
pandorum replied to mdmc82's topic in International World of Speedway
So what it was a speedway match on TV and was pretty competetive. I have seen plenty of meaningless challenges that p#ssed all over so called league matches. Of course the 4 3 2 1 system is better as the point of a pairs meet is to see team riding. It's been around since the 80s in the UK and before that the team with the best gater would win as wins counted better than team rides in case of draws.
