There was no Quest TV coverage. It was the same programme SKY had and Eurosport show. Quest was just used by Eurosport as a platform to show the GP.

LMAO True though. Most dead people could have made a better fist of a decent punch Still Matty is an ex soldier so perhaps that shows we should not worry about the Slovenian army too much. Still does not detract from the fact Nicki ran away and got himself somewhere where there were people to protect him. Still shows the real NP is a coward

Nicki Pedersen. Mbe ?
pandorum replied to Super Blue's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Good God man chill out Compared to some of the absolute crap talked on the EL section a bit of NP baiting is small potatoes. And for a change Nicki actually deserves it. What does it matter if promoters take the BSF seriously or not. They would never take any notice if the BSF behaved like the Baptist Tabernacle. Promoters have dragged the sport to the edge of oblivion NOT the BSF. Bit ironic post you made considering your signature -
Nicki Pedersen. Mbe ?

Agree although I love watching the guy race as he is a superb speedway rider. Showed he was nothing but a bully and a coward yesterday. All mouth and no trousers. Kicked out like a girl and ran for the protection of the pits and his crew. Hard man my arce. He sh#t himself and ran away. Matty should have said to him 'you and me after the meeting somewhere quiet and private'. Nicki's leathers would have weighed an extra couple of stone after Nicki's bowels had gone. An utter coward and a bully that's all Nicki Pedersen is. Hard man image gone in less than 30 seconds last night. He should stick to riding as he is good at that. -
Bit rich fining Zagar but the thing NP lost the most was not 600e but this hard man reputation he thought he had. He kicked out like a little girl and ran for the pits. Big man there telling Matty to f-off and laughing but he was by that time surrounded by his crew and officials so knew he was safe. But out there on the track the big hard man Nicki turned into a quivering jelly and ran away when confronted by a real tough guy like ex soldier Matty. Anyone watching that now knows Nicki is all talk and next time he does that I hope someone decks him on the track as he is a big girls blouse. If he had done that to someone like Jack Millen he would have been wearing his bike as a hat. I love watching Nicki as he is a great rider but his antics are annoying and now we know he is not the hard man he likes to be known for but a bully and a coward. He should stick to riding as he is good at that and cut out the hard man routine as he is nothing but a big blowhard. Great GP nonetheless and Tai may well show what a great rider he is by retaining his title. Good luck to the kid.

got to agree. Eurosport have done a lot of extra stuff they deserve credit for. Commentators aside they get a pat on the back from me and I was a critic when they started. But it has to be said that SKY have not done a bad job for the sport either. Speedway has been really lucky to find people prepared to go that extra yard for them. It's just sad the sport is run by such near sighted imbiciles who have never really capitalised on their efforts Go Tai......lets see two in a row

Bogdanov looking good. Even that first race he looked good but could not figure out the track. Does the commentator get extra for saying 'Gomolski' as he seems to like that word I miss the old caption guys now -

So I get back from a great weekend in New York hanging out with Handsome Dick Manitoba and trawl through this thread and find that there was no concrete news at all but another one of those articles waffling on about the same old waffle we have had for years about this thing. I worked in that industry and may I suggest you Google ‘concrete’ because if the jobs I worked on used your concrete they would have collapsed that same day. I have seen with my own eyes major ambitious projects that have contained wonderful elements that along the way have just vanished due to cost and other factors. So nothing is ‘concrete’ yet and the planning hurdle has still not been passed and even that is no guarantee as I have seen projects with planning permission just disappear into the ether. Our National tin shed could easily be removed from this project to make way for a car park for a new shopping mall. This is the worst non-thread on the forum in years and seems another example of your habit for bulling up stuff you seem to be a mouthpiece for. The forum nutbag Mr Liam Gallagher or whatever he is called this week has got you pegged perfectly mate from the GP tripe you spout. Oh how I wish the Speedway Mail had survived and not your rag. The sport needs a champion more than ever now and all we seem to have is your ilk. To the whining mob who babble on about those of us who don’t rally behind the likes of this bloke I say of course I would love a new national Stadium in Manchester, Sunderland or Croydon and would love the sport to become high profile again. But I am not a mindless idiot that believes everything written by people like Rising. I have followed this sport too long to believe in ‘magic solutions’ and ‘saviours’ to quote Fish from Marillion ‘born of dreams’. There is still a long way to go and not one really concrete sentence has yet been talked about this thing. As I said earlier. 'I found this spoon sir!' -
I used to enjoy coming to the International section but you big girls blouses and your arguments about racecards are beginning to spoil what used to be a smashing part of the forum. Can't you squabblng children just agree you all do a great job and it is much appreciated by us. Who cares how big the font is or who is the best. I use Pauls as I prefer them but all the cards are good. Anyways I will miss the matches as I will be drunk in New York for the weekend with an Australian bloke I know Have fun and for crying out loud play nicely .

We only snipe because we have heard it all before. They have probably bought a new shovel. The announcement will likely be on a par with below. 'I found this spoon sir' -

Why not Poole as they run the sport anyhow? Do we actually NEED a National Tin Shed? Does it mean anyone can use it?If only Diana was still alive -

Where Is British Speedway Going.
pandorum replied to mc1874's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It's likely that speedway in the UK is not going anywhere sadly as it arrived years ago at a place called 'nowhere' and seems to want to stay there until it finally croaks on it's own hubris. As TWK asks the sport is indeed light years away from the fun sport I got into as a kid. And as wealdstone says anyone with an ounce of vision is ignored or hounded until they just give up. UK speedway the Lemming of the sporting world.
