  1. I bet you my Sonisphere wristband against your blow up doll he does
  2. The Welsh have a National Anthem? What is it Day Trip To Bangor? Go Woffy!!
  3. What a load of garbage you talk. I have been listening to music over 55 years and listen to loads of bands/artists playing 'modern' music whateverthehellthatis . Don't make presumptions about old people mate and don't blame us for the crap music played at speedway tracks. It's the least of the sports problems but I do agree that the music played in speedway stadia is and always has been very bland. The same arguments you make today could be made in the 70s. Speedway presentation has always been lamentable and todays society want something more than standing around aimlessly waiting for four blokes on bikes to be arced to get out and do what they get paid for. Times change and people change but speedway never has so is doomed regardless of what music they play.
  4. http://speedway.manchesterpaul.net/2014/MiniMax_2014_SGP_British.pdf thanks as always to Manchester Paul .
  5. Well Dave was lamentable last night which goes to show the most professional commentating team in speedway is Nige and Kel who at least are able to read.
  6. Why they never give Nige a break so why should he get one At least Nige can read and also this bloke shouted a lot in that last race but when Nige gets excited he gets stick great race and fair result really
  7. Especially when we see the usual Kel and Nige haters bulling this new guy up. Eurosport commentator are not good enough to wash Nige's microphone covers. Every lap had the blokes name on the caption and still these idiots did not realise.
  8. These two clowns are worse than the Jack and sam show. Lokatev did not hold on cos Lokatov was not there. Can't these morons read? Yes but I bet 100% know what their own name IS
  9. This is true but one would imagine the Poles knew how to pronounce it and they say Loktaev. Poor form from the commentator. Nicki lucky there
  10. Sorry Al but that's a bit out of order. I would get annoyed if somebody used my name incorrectly especially if they knew how to pronounce it. Sam has an excuse as he is an idiot but the other guy
  11. Yeah it's weird as Polish commentators call him Loktaev. Maybe they are wrong and its really Lokatev but he has it spelt Loktaev on his leathers in Poland so I would assume he knows his own name . It's a little known fact that Zdenek Kudrna's surname was actually pronounced Blenkinsop-Smythe. Funny old game speedway Sam seems to be having trouble with the concept that this match is actually a TEAM match and team mates are not attempting to take their own team mates. He has done that about three times tonight
  12. Looks like Jack is back with a posh accent. Who is Lokatev is he as good as Loktaev?
  13. so the potential to see 2 or even 3 of the BEST riders in the world lost and instead we will see Italy attempt to set a world record lowest score at a speedway meeting. No wonder speedway is thought of as a joke sport I think Italy have a good chance of establishing 0 as a speedway score Bloody shame (Not Italy ....Russia)
  14. Enjoyed that. Kolodzeij is a fantastic speedway rider See you folks next Tuesday as off to Paris in the morning to see Jim Morrison and then Knebworth for the weekend with Iron Maiden and Metallica
  15. Caught our lad by surprise there. Fair play to Mikkel pity he was garbage last night
  16. That's shut you up you know nowt Fantastic ride from young Pawel.
  17. Your lot have no chance fellahs If they end up within 6 they will have done well. Greg is a major loss. Przedpelski is a good rider and will score points tonight but he is not Laguta just yet. Sam is doing well and his brain must have caught up with his mouth today. He is cheating a bit by calling everybody by first names
  18. See if somebody can lend you a sense of humour mate as that joke just went right over your head . If you actually read the post and what I quoted you were supposed to realise I meant Richard Harris rather than Chris Harris.
  19. It must be doing him some good as he is #1 at the moment I think all those energy drinks are awful and get most of my energy from drinking gin
  20. At the start of the season Russia had a possible line up that would have probably danced the WTC. Just shows you that the BSPA are not the stupidest organisation in speedway Gafurov is past his best. Bielousov is decent as is Kudriasov but what about Kulakov and Tarasenko is a better choice than Gizatullin they can't even pick a decent second team I hope they make it but Russian speedway is in a mess
  21. Q1, Your favourite decade of speedway? A1 1970s Q2, A2 59
  22. They should have replaced Greg with Tarasenko or to be really radical Woffy. Or give Chris Harris a call as he is doing nothing.
  23. But that happens in any sport that has a play off system. The first part is qualifying and the second part is about winning the prize. Are you saying that the Championship has no credibility because the team that comes sixth can end up in the Premiership? It is one of the most exciting football leagues in Britain and the teams seem to have no problem with the system. Likewise the SGP is one of the best ideas speedway has ever had. A 15 point max does not guarantee you will end up with a trophy as it just gets you first pick of a gate. The old system was pretty dull as half the field never had a chance and the excitement was pretty much over half way through. The SGP has two levels of excitement as in the champion that day and the overall race for the title. Even Chris Harris provided some excitement yesterday beating Greg in a vital race. I grew up with the old world championships and can see by a mile the SGP is way better. We can learn from the past but living in it is a bit sad
