One from the perspective of a top rider who was world champion albeit the long track side and the other a fan since he was a kid. Bomber will likely finish bottom of the pile again as his SGP preparation is obviously hopeless. But he earned the right to try again if he wants to. I for one can't see the point for him as he does himself and his sponsors no favours by being lamentable. But like the other two qualifiers he deserves his place and good luck to all three.

If they can see beyond the politics they need Emil and Greg Laguta in the series. Neils deserves to be there without doubt so if he is overhauled then a place should be his. Three Aussies already now so Ward can't possibly be given a wild card. They will have at least one Swede and possibly want two so there's one for Jonsson or maybe THJ. Zmarzlik deserves a shot. There are too many candidates and not enough places so it's going to be disputed whomever they pick. Three very substandard riders qualified but they won their places so nobody can argue they don't deserve to be there which leaves the 4 picks needing to be the BEST available which brings us back to Ward but having 4 Aussies will surely be unacceptable with so many other countries with candidates. I don't envy the pickers

I doubt Bomber will do anything but fail in 2015 but the lad deserves his spot for a change so it can't be argued he does not deserve to be there. Not impressed that any of the 3 will bring anything to the GPs but they qualified fair and square so I wish them luck. Wild cards are now going to be gold now as a lot of big names have failed where the likes of Chris has not

Kildemand was fantastic yesterday but Emil was a worthy winner. PK was stone 2nd when he fell and Emil was never going to get beat. It's a shame there was such a poor crowd when the other 3 were superbly supported. Maybe lack of Polish interest? maybe basketball or a Rolling Stone concert I wonder if a SEC could drum up some interest here? But of course Russians have trouble with visa's which is odd because I was there last month and I had no trouble

As always damn shame but sadly speedway is not a viable sport and they won't be the last. I have seen some good meetings at Arlington and enjoy the small technical tracks. Dugard family great speedway folk and they will be missed

What a race. Emil was brilliant and Killer was unlucky but he was beaten. He had to go for it and was a bit unlucky but 2nd was all he was going to get. Congrats to Emil and all the riders for making an utterly fantastic speedway meeting. I have to agree with that sentiment it's a hell of a track

Forget politics Emil and Greg are 2 of the best riders in the world get them in the SGP whatever it takes. And yes throw Killer in as well as he is also up there with the best.

Poor crowd there mate considering it's still there for at least 4 of them. The SEC has attracted 3 good crowds and the Polish leg a near empty stadium. Emil can't take anything for granted

Nice ide but too well thought out mate so will never happen. The BSPA prefer half arced ideas with absolutely no thought whatsoever so they can make up sh#t as they go along and end up with fixture chaos at the end of it.

Echo that. I am no fan of SS but he does indeed bring an interesting perspective to the forum and argue with him by all means but calling him a lap dog for BSI is silly. I am sure he gets a few freebies thrown his way but hell he is entitled to post what he wants how he wants just like the rest of us. My only real beef with him is his annoying habit of printing his first word in capitals Is this Ward plonker gonna get judged or what? Still a bit tired from weekend but looking forward to Friday Liverpool need to wake up if they want to do well in Europe. Saturday was a disgrace.

Why is it that those who were critical of the farce surrounding this stadium will now go and moan about another one? When it's built I say great but it is not going to be some magic wand waved over speedway. The sport has massive problems number one of which is getting a regular crowd so BV will have a lot of work to do to make it viable. That is simply the reality and not some negative ninnys prattlings. And the idea we can hold a 2nd GP with 15 thou is a bit of a stretch. Let's try and get a crowd in the place that allows them to pay the bills first before GPs and SWC finals. If it happens good luck to them and I hope they make it pay. But get real a bit first as the promotion have a lot of debt to sort out and speedway is hardly something that generates massive profits.
