  1. Ok ok it's in Wales but i just think it is a shame when you have foreign sponsorship it should have had the Royal Navy plastered all over the bib's since they are sponsoring british speedway at the minute.
  2. I'm sure that England is becoming a Polish island, did anyone take note of the sponsors on the BRITISH GP race bibs????? It's a complete joke LESZNO & TORUN why on earth were they on the race bibs of the riders in the british gp. Can anyone shed any light on this because it really rattled me did that i think that whoever put those on the race jackets must have their eyes painted on THIS IS ENGLAND not Poland !!!!
  3. It's about time speedway riders got into the million £££££ mark. I'm sick to death of hearing about footballers on silly wages each week. It's nice to hear that our rider's are getting paid what they deserve. Gollob is nothing shy of world class & deserves the money he earns along with everyone else who gets on a speedway bike. Simon.
  4. Well said we're thinkning of going its just wether we can get their & back although i have a feeling most of the motorways will be clear. Simon.
  5. Well that has just brightened up my christmas prospect, by the 27th i am usually twiddling my thumps bored so thats a must for me. No doubt when i tell me mum & dad they will be happy with the news aswell. Si.
  6. Although i think i,ll be buying this for my dad for christmas dont suppose you have the gary havelock testimonial on dvd?? Si.
  7. Did Pierre take his father's title then as the count?? Si.
  8. Bengt Brannefors i think he rode for Coventry or Reading if memory serves. Si.
  9. I will mention this to my folks we all like to go to any speedway meetings we can & being a friday night is better knowing their isnt work in the morning so i am sure we,ll be able to make it. Sounds a good meeting & certainly the funds are going to a good cause. Si.
  10. Me & my step father have been saying it for a long time, Tai Woffinden is the best chance of britain lifting the GP title no doubt about it. The only worry i have is that when his father passes it might mentally effect him & loose the concentration needed in the GP series. Kennett i dont think will do anything apart from be in the mix the competion is to strong & i think he will be another Lee Richardson. As long as Tai keeps his emotions in order & i personally feel he will because he will want that world title for all the sacrific his father has made to get Tai where he is. I would have Woffy in as wildcard to get him used to riding as a GP rider because its only a matter of time before he gets in. Si.
  11. Darcy Ward is as already said a one off talent with the world at his feet & well done to him for winning. Tai i really feel for, he has been given a bit of bad press recently with some of his strops but with whats going on in his personal life & the emotions that will be running through his head i am amazed at how well he is coping. I have been through what he is going through now & i dropped to bits & he is still putting in supreme performances so well done to him. I have no doubt that Tai is the next british world champion in the making & although his father who has been the driving force in Tai's life probably won't be around to see him lift the title i'm sure he'll know his son is destined for the top. Si.
  12. As a tiger brilliant end to a brilliant day really enjoyed the meeting & Ricky did everything to win. I honestly thought it was going to be Darcey ward on the day but Ricky came up trumps. Although Ricky was the main man for me the rider of the day was David Howe i thought he rode exceptionally well to say he wasnt even meant to be in the meeting. Ricky deserved that without a doubt all this talk of home track in my eyes is nonesense you've got the the cream of the crop riding their & all wanting to win. The one thing that really annoyed me about that meeting was that bloody raving idiot on that pink bike with his sweeping brush. Surely they could have got someone more entertaining than him i would have sooner gone up the road to Hillsbourgh & watch that irish bank holiday play football. He was like watching a tin of paint dry purple helmets next year much more entertaining. Si.
  13. Here here we,ll be setting off soon too Have a feeling Darcey ward is going to win this meeting though.
