  1. According to this weeks Speedway Star 4th member of the Hornets is Richard Andrews
  2. I believe the meeting is now next Mon Jan 10th
  3. One thing if the rumours are correct, that have come from several different sources at Newport, is that the Hornets won't find themselves caught up in this mess next year. It is unlikely there will be a Hornets team.
  4. If that is the case then the wholeNL season has been an utter waste of space and a complete farce. I have supported the Hornets all sesaon, going to both Hornets and Wasps meetings which can work out expensive with two meetings on a weekend. I don't begrudge Buxton winning if it is done in a fair way but to day that winner takes all on a home leg advantage is crazy. If there is any N; next year, here is one person who won't be paying hard earned money to see it.
  5. After seeing the weather forecast for this week - Fri is currently dire, heavy rain. What would happen if one or both legs of this tie were to get called off as Sun is the last day of the season.
  6. Well done to the Hornets but would have preferred meeting to go to natural conclusion. Let's hope both riders are ok, especially James. I really hope he will be ok for tomorrow, if more so if we are without Tony again.
  7. Was told on Sunday that he flies home on Sept 2nd or 3rd as that is when his visa runs out. I hope he comes back to Newport next year
  8. He was interviewed on the centre green towards the end - he has concussion but otherwise looked to be ok. After the way he went down, at least it was some sort of relief to see him walk into the ambulance after a lengthy spell of treatment.
  9. It's no consolation Tim but we at Newport can't believe what has happened. I hope you get fixed up soon and thank you for all you've done for the Hornets this season
