  1. Well, I'd say that if they were motorcycle sport fans, they'd initially watch Eurosport's SGP coverage before taking the plunge at their local track if they fancied it live. In most cases though, they'd be in for a bit of a culture shock, don't you think? Could see a few new faces at Cardiff though, maybe. Eurosport gave the sport a good go this year, IMO and I think speedway is in good hands with them. Tai is a marketable asset and I think they'll use him more to publicise next year's coverage. It would be nice to see him appear at BSB/WSB events at some stage, a bit of "cross pollenation" so to speak, if his Polish commitments allow.
  2. Watched the Motorcycle live programme on Eurosport and Tai really only appeared a couple of times, albeit fleetingly, but got a decent mention from James Whitham at the end when the presenters were discussing their show highlights. He does however appear in a film called "Behind Bars" which is showing in a "cinema" at the NEC which follows round the likes of Tai, Tom Sykes, the Lowes twins etc as they prefer for their respective world championships. http://www.motorcyclelive.co.uk/feature/behind-bars-bike-theatre/
  3. So AP has apologised to AP and will welcome AP back? This is getting more confusing by the minute.
  4. I don't think you're the only one! Get well soon Joe Mc for starters!?
  5. Why, is the price of the beer going up?
  6. Friggy hell. If this was a plot in a TV soap, people would be saying it was too far fetched!! Looking forward to some positive news tomorrow.
  7. I hope that's to go with your JD, mate! Never did Lemmy any harm.........................?
  8. Perhaps (and it's a big "perhaps") after British Eurosport's excellent coverage of this year's SGP series, more non speedway fans will know who Tai is and take notice. What stand is he on BTW?
  9. If Dudley did ride in the EL at PB, it probably wouldn't make that much difference how many Brum fans turned up. Ok Peter, it may be a big jump from NL to EL on the face of it, but is it really? Heathens would be getting sole use of an EL class facility so that's no problem, the only stumbling block I can see is investment in the team, but if they can get Joe Mc on board, who knows, that may not be too much of a problem. I actually agree with Pirio Baby, it perhaps could work. Then again, I've been hitting The 1664s tonight!
  10. More like Sergeant Wilson, mate! Seriously though, it's been pretty tough being a Brummies fan since 2006. Off the top of my head, you've had the initial 3 year PP, the sweat of the renewal of that, going back to BCC for various tweaks, let alone some of the disasters on track over the years, the injury hit 2008 season for one. And now this. Makes you think if the supposed curse on Birmingham City extends to PB too.
  11. No mention of anything in this story.......... http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/other-sport/speedway-graham-drury-carry-planning-6321522 Phew!
  12. I posted it 2nd class so it hasn't arrived yet!
  13. There you have it folks. Peter Preece has spoken!!
  14. Max Mosley knows a bit about rope, is it him, MJ?
  15. Carson Yeung? Couldn't be any worse surely?
  16. CMs are replaceable, that's true, but love him or hate him, there's no denying that Joe McL is very good at his job and will be a hard act to follow.
  17. Not a great time to be sending out texts to advertise sponsorship opportunities is it?
  18. I know Birmingham are listed as such on the BSPA site, but will they really be in the EL next year, I wonder? Or will this be a way for Peterbro under new ownership to stay in the top flight?
  19. Anyone up for a game of Pooh sticks? Or should that be poo sticks, as they say?
  20. Could be, could be tasteless. Let's look at the facts as already mentioned and known. Riders not being paid on time Pulling out of Barker deal WM banned from PB Team manager abused during live meeting Team manager owed 2 months wages Etc. None of the above would appear to be the fault of Phil Morris. If Alan Phillips does reply, it will be very interesting indeed.
  21. Birmingham fans have been spoiled the last 3 years with number ones of the calibre of KK, Pedersen and Bomber. A drop to the PL with the new Jason Lyons (whoever that is) leading the team, would never work.
  22. Well just to bump the Brummies up the page a bit................. .............some (sort of) news. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/other-sport/birmingham-brummies-phil-morris-says-6270997
  23. Sorry to wee on your chips, but MM hasn't won it yet, there's still a round to go at Valencia next week. Anything can happen as proved by Rossi/Hayden in 2006. Go Jorge #99
