Well said.

As UKM says, NL riders fall regularly on well prepared tracks so making them race on a bad one is asking for it really.

Well done for actually taking league speedway in this country seriously.

Warsaw Gp Saturday 18th April
OGT replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well I've been away most of the weekend, so I recorded the GP along with all the other 2 wheel action on offer. I watched MotoGP first, where there was some great racing and plenty of Brit success. Some good stuff in WSB too. Then I watched SGP................................ I now need a new fast forward button on my Tivo remote. Not happy. -

Birmingham Vs Cradley (ch) 18th March 2015
OGT replied to 21st century heathen's topic in National League Speedway
That's the first time I've heard or seen Perry Barr described as tight.. I thought it was specifically designed not to be, hence Ivan Mauger took a copy of the plans away with him on the opening night! -
Where's the assumption that Brum are a rich club come from?
-
Or Ray, Steve or Ian?
-
You're right, it was a definite highlight of the modern Perry Barr era.
-
Thought it was pretty entertaining. Shame there was only one speedway rider in it, would have been good to see Greg and/or Tai maybe too. Bradley Smith impressed and improved as the event went on. Would be nice to have one of these events in the UK, maybe to replace Telford.
-
Should be good, got it on record for the repeat tomorrow.
-
Isn't Guy Martin in this?
-
Wouldn't it be great if Brum could somehow tempt Jack Roberts and Ben Taylor back into the sport?

You can't get away from Guests in speedway, can you?

Birmingham Brummies - Has The Come Back Trail Started?
OGT replied to kitten2502's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I agree, the BSPA should have heard alarm bells at the start of last year. Then again, so should football authorities. Look at the fiasco going on at Leeds and what happened at Birmingham City among others. -
Maybe a lot of riders like it because they can beat most of the fast trackers! #easymoney

Cracking GP, it really had everything. Congrats to Greg "Herbie" Hancock © N. Pearson, a truly great champ. Never really been a fan, but I have to say he deserved it 100% Talking of deserving it, I actually thought the decision to exclude NP was the right one. A move like that is always a risky one, coming through the pack like that everything needs to be just right for it to be successful. Unfortunately KK was in the wrong place at the wrong time for Nicki. All in all it was the perfect end to the GP season on probably the best track in the world (after Stoke } -
13 heats would have been the last ever meeting at the Ladbroke, or has there been another match since?
