  1. Thankfully not, not that it has any relevance to the point I was making. Embarrassing result against a garbage side, end of story.
  2. Why should I be embarrassed by my post? Plymouths team is rubbish, the table will reflect that come the end of the season. I’m certainly not bitter and twisted at all I was just passing an opinion which seems to have been agreed with by several other posters. Just in case you aren’t aware, Lawson and Edwards aren’t Plymouth riders.
  3. Effort and commitment doesn’t win you anything, that should be a given. That Plymouth side is horrific, thats why Berwick should be embarrassed by the result.
  4. Berwick should be utterly embarrassed by that result against that Plymouth side.
  5. Good ideas that you raise. I wasn't trying to suggest there was an obvious answer I just found it odd. I think paying for both then getting refunded the 2nd if you don’t want to watch it would work but obviously that can create a few problems. On the streaming side of things I think it’s something all clubs should be looking at going forward as it’s an uncapped possibility of who may tune in for it. For me as I dont live in the area I’d be far more likely to watch it online from a stream than I would be to go in person.
  6. Very tough to police it I agree. However, I just cant understand the viewpoint of assuming people will want to or be able to afford to watch both and thus only giving 1 higher priced option. Seems madness given the last 15 months imo.
  7. Totally agree. I also think its a massive mistake only selling tickets for both matches at £25 rather than the 16 or 17 for people who perhaps only wanted to watch 1. Given how the last 15 months has been, £25 will be a lot of money for many people. There should be an option imo for single tickets for either match.
  8. Seems a strange decision to me if thats the case. Not everybody will want to watch 2 matches and also I imagine some people wont be able to afford 25 quid for the privilege.
  9. Out of interest on the online booking system why is the only priced tickets available £24 +£1 booking fee? I was under the impression it cost £16/17 for a single match?
  10. Bewley was a different rider towards the end of the season when he started using Woffindens engines. If they can get him on top kit next year he could have a good season. Hopefully Drabik can make a full return after whatever ban has been completed.
  11. He should be banned accordingly for whatever crime hes committed but my god he will be missed if thats the case. A fine young talent that you want to see on the track not banned (from a purely speedway fan perspective) .
  12. Whats the latest with Max Drabik? Obviously didn’t finish the season and not seen him mentioned for next year anywhere on here?
  13. Yeah good signing I think, good gater generally so be strong at home especially. Certainly cant be any worse than Woffinden this season.
  14. I agree. I'd have a massive clear out next season if I was Wroclaw. Keep the Russian and Drabik and start a fresh with the rest.
  15. Wroclaw are garbage not one of them has stood up and been counted. I have thought for a while now Woffinden needs a change in Poland he just seems to becoming more stale week on week.
  16. Surely SAC Hockenhull can give you a lend to make sure you never miss another match?
  17. The irony of this post knocking socialism and Corbyn specifically when its socialism that has in effect saved millions up and down this country in the last 5 months .
  18. At no stage have I made anything up on this thread to politicise. It was another poster who suggested stock cars were allowed to run due to it being an amateur sport. It is my opinion that it is wrong for stock car racing to be allowed to run with fans when speedway is not afforded the same luxury. It is also my opinion that it is entirely the governments decision on when all parts of society reopen and that they will base those decisions on what they can gain from each individual case. Not sure what exactly in anything I have posted you could possibly have deemed out of order.
  19. I used the stock cars at Ipswich as an example I did not generalise that ‘all amateur sport’ is allowed. Horse racing is to welcome fans back to Goodwood in a few weeks and thats professional. This government pick and choose which sports they are allowing to reopen based on how much it benefits them. And more likely in my opinion which industries ministers will receive the biggest back handers from to make it happen.
  20. How is it anyone’s fault but the government? They are the ones making the decisions on which industries reopen and which don’t. Stock car racing at Ipswich is fine but no Speedway, how’s that work?
