  1. Sheep follow the leader, until big John says Allen is anything other than a 5 Scotty wont believe it.
  2. Lanhams signed for Somerset and from watchinf Mills at brough last year id rather they brough back Jade Mudgway lol. Weathers is probably a good shout I was under the impression he planned to call it a day but maybe hes changed his mind. I think Nathan Greaves will be the 3 pointer.
  3. 8.66 left when Allen is dropped, new 5pt asset from europe and a 3 pointer. Shame Anders Thomsen is 5.68 because I think he would have been a good signing.
  4. Can we assume no Jake Allen now that Vissing, Doolan and Edberg have been retained? As it stands tho 6 come to over 40 points so doesnt leave enough points for the last man.
  5. As usual your incorrect, as he isnt 'the best of the rest' as Brodie Waters has more points than him, good effort though spouting more garbage in such a smug manner
  6. Unfortunately though Edberg isnt that free scoring reserve.
  7. Will the race suits be making a return this season with Alex in the team?
  8. When will the rest of the team be announced? Doolan and Edberg are signed and sealed so whats the hold up?
  9. Personally I would bin Allen off and go with Vissing. I think next season is a very important one for Berwick, if you believe what John and his associates tell us ( which I know most do) then crowds really need to pick up or there may not be a Berwick 2016. For this reason I think Allen is just far to big a risk to take on a 7pt ave, because if he struggles, which I think its highly likely he would and thats no disrespect to to the lad but most of them do when they come over initially, and Berwick start getting a few pastings, particularly at home, I think the crowds would really slump. Vissing on a 7.09 would be far better and offer backup particularly at home and cover the poor signing of TJ. If the rumoured combination of Edberg and Nathan Greavss at reserve comes to fruition, then I would like to congratulate the weakest reserve pairing in recent memory.
  10. I think thats a strong first 4 for Newcastle, I hope you sign S Worrall next so we dont get him at Berwick on that ave.
  11. Anyone else think Adam Ellis would be a good signing for Berwick at reserve?
  12. I am probably in the minority here but I'm delighted that Hevelock has done what hes done so Kus wont be back. No way would he have improved his average in my opinion, I think it would have lowered, so I think its brilliant he wont be back. We'll probs just go and sign Steve Worral now though instead, guaranteed to drop his ave. For all the sheep that follow Berwick though I'm sure the Kus situation is very disappointing, given what a good lad he is and all that.
  13. I would be absolutely amazed if Kus improves his ave, but I'd love to be proved wrong.
  14. Like they've done with Bellego for the past 3 years? And Kus when the Czech league want him? You really do make me laugh.
  15. Cant be far off I wouldnt have thought, Harrison perhaps if he is back?
  16. I would take that, potential in Thomsen and Covatti for sure. Unfortunately though, Doolan is already nailed on.
  17. I think Barker is a superb signing, no doubt about it, credit where credit is due, he is box office at Berwick and I look forward to watching him as much as possible. When I first heard about Allen a few weeks ago I was sceptical, but the more research I've done on him and his impressive scores over the past few Aus meetings, theres a fair chance he might just be pretty decent. Assuming initially he will struggle and go to reserve, which is going to put the pressure on Edberg so hopefully he can step up. For me Jorgensen is a massive gamble on that ave, I personally would have taken Vissing back, but I hope its a gamble that pays dividends. With Kus, Doolan and Edberg the next 3 , we have about 3 something left for the final reserve spot, its a shame we couldnt have signed Sargeant. Whether we are brilliant or garbage this year, I am pleased we have Barker to watch, a joy to watch at Berwick when the track is right, I remember a few seasons back him being on Complins exhaust for 4 laps when nobody got near Complin if he was out front, will be interesting to see if there is an increase in shale on the track or not. Looking forward to seeing Barker being that big no1 and hopefully dealing with the vast majority of visiting no1's. Good start. I would take Rob Branford as the other 3 pointer.
  18. Careful, the forum police will be onto you if you let out its Jake Allen your on about .
  19. I dont, I just think its 99.9% certain he will drop that ave. Do you think otherwise?
  20. I think theres absolutely no chance he will keep to that, this isn't even me moaning about them, I genuinely think that is a total waste of 7 points, they would have been better signing a 7pt assessed rider. Essentially by signing TJ they have replaced Bellego with someone with a higher ave who isn't as good? What a great move!
