  1. Dropped in Sweden this week. Obviously not as good as you think you are Chris.
  2. Who even cares if he's banned he's been rubbish all season. He obviously thinks he's far to good for Britain so why doesn't he just concentrate on Poland and Sweden. He's been mainly garbage for Torun and been at reserve on a few occasions for his Swedish club. Seems to think he's doing a people a favour by being here and taking the mick but really who would give a damn if he didn't ride here anyways, would rather see someone with not as much talent but who is committed.
  3. I never thought I'd see the day a certain poster woke up and smelt the coffee about the jokers that run this sport 👏🏻. Good to see a certain other poster was fully behind the decision to abandon 😂
  4. Don't think you are correct there. This season thus far we have had the team manager referred to as Havelock, Courtney, Dennis and now Flint has been added to that list. I agree with you however, the team was rubbish before we started. I don't have any experience in speedway I am just a fan but I could have told you Bridger had no chance of maintaining that average. Vissing has caused problems where ever he has been, Berge you only needed to speak to Glasgow to find out a thing or two about him. Straight away theres 3 guys who had massive question marks over them. Would the Edinburgh or Newcastle promotion have signed any of those 3? Doolan has been on the decline for the past 3 seasons, people are only blinkered by the fact he's on the face of it done well as he's ridden in many useless Berwick teams. The other 3, Gappmeir seemed consistently inconsistent, Carr trained all winter apparently and spoke a good game at the P&P but it never seemed to happen for him. I cant comment on the racing as I don't go anymore as I wont line the pockets of people who aren't fussed about putting a serious team out, but fair play to them if they have improved the track, it certainly needed it. I'm like you in terms of I just want to see good speedway. I went to Bell Vue a few times last season and my god that gets your interest back in the sport, as did the world cup meetings from Vastervik and Leszno. Berwick are by no means alone in what is happening to speedway in this country. Events like last night at Kings Lynn just show the sport is on its backside and if it keeps going in this fashion it might just cease to exist in the very near future. I look forward to the happy clappers telling me I don't go so I'm not entitled to an opinion .
  5. No, I'm not stupid enough to condone the shambles that has been put out over the last few years like yourself by paying money to watch it. Actually want to see good speedway and a team built with the intention of being competitive, not just built to appease happy clappers like yourself. Could stick 7 elephants out on track for 'the mighties' and you'd cheer them on then come on and tell us what a good meeting it was and how hard they tried. Still, each to there own.
  6. Berwick speedway, the club with more team managers than home league wins 😂👏🏻. The phrase pi** up in a brewery springs to mind.
  7. The Sheffield promotion should be asking Berwick for half the wages money they will be paying out after this match. Absolutely disgusting that Berwick even think this sort of team is acceptable to keep putting out week after week. Shame they cant just forfeit this match and the remaining matches they have left and have a big booze up in the B&G to celebrate another successful season on track. Don't forget though, the club is leading the way with track covers just as they led the way in quality of pie under big John .
  8. Lewis Bridger kicking off on twitter that British Speedway is poorly run, Rossiter hasnt spoken to him since his change of equipment etc. Maybe I'm just missing something but he has dropped nearly 3 points from his starting average in a weaker league, why on earth would he even be in consideration for making the squad? Absolute wolly, wants to concentrate on scoring points for Berwick rather than putting topless selfies on instagram telling everyone hes whatever percent bodyfat.
  9. Its a shame given the talent Tai has that he is such a moron. Everything is about Tai Woffinden, yes the BSPA are a shambles but yet again all about him. He made it more than clear he doesnt wish to have anything to do with GB so why does he then post drivel like this? He should just concentrate on his racing because he really does not endeavour himself to an awful lot of fans in this country with all the rubbish he comes out with off the track.
  10. Dont bother attending much live speedway these days due to the quality on offer in this country but I am mighty pleased I went to that tonight, absolutely sensational racing on a fabulous track. For some reason Tai's opinion of himself seems to have got far to big this season and I dont like the way he now appears to conduct himself, a real shame because he is such a top rider, just let your riding do the talking not your big mouth. As he has done in the PL from time to time, Cook made an absolute plonker of himself tonight. It was the grand final for goodness sake, at that level of course you're going to get hard racing and thats all it was from Freddie. Again after heat 15 Cook showed his petulence by hand gesturing to Lindgren. A classic example in my opinion why he wont reach the top, he will always be a top PL rider and steady second heatleader in the EL but nothing more. Fair play to Joe Jacobs as well, was very impressive after Mondays wobble. Roll on next season and some more trips to the NSS.
  11. Does anyone have any indication as to the size and shape of track they are hoping to produce?
  12. Lets hope Swindon are better than Kings Lynn, this has been dross thus far.
  13. Harris has had a rubbish season but he still would have been better than Cook. The premier league is Cook's level and he will never go any higher.
  14. This has been extremely poor. Pray to god the track is prepared slick tomorrow night. Can only be down to prep because from the shape of the track it should be producing great racing.
  15. Think Danny Ayres needs to leave his over exhuberant celebrations until the end of the meeting. Winning heat 2 then being tailed off for the rest has kind of made him look a bit stupid.
  16. First things first, the ticketing system is a shambles and needs sorting asap. Aside from that, what a tremendous speedway meeting. The track is a great size and shape and really produced some great racing, Kk being the highlight with Garrity close behind. Will definitely be back 👍.
  17. Thanks, some great info there, much appreciated.
  18. As a first time visitor to the new stadium today I have a couple of questions if anyone is able to answer. Am I better getting a ticket in the grandstand or the terrace? Which has better viewing? Also can you pay by card at the gate? And finally, do you need to pay for parking? Thanks for any help.
