Ah lowering the tone by dragging me into something that has nothing to do with me.................. As I have said before unless they publish the so called list and the criteria used to meet it then there are going to be continual arguments about it................saying that even if it was published there would be more arguments as to who and who should not be on it................ Hey here is an idea............what about taking a riders combined average over the 2014 and 2015 season and using that to calculate who should be on there whether they rode one season or both....................since so many people are incensed about Buzz not meeting the criteria............... Remember its not Poole who created the rule..............all promoters work to the same rules its just some use them better than others.............. RP

As I said it is the fault of those who made the rules and decided who should meet what criteria they set............. One other question however and this is for SCB................you keep saying about Danny King being on this so called list..............if you have seen it (and I know you posted what you thought it should be) would you care to tell us who else is on there and what the criteria is.............. RP

Re read it.......................what I am saying is that everyone is saying that Davey Watt should be a second string despite attaining a 7.19 average yet are yet the same people are saying Buzz should be a heat leader despite having a 6.48 average which was attained two years ago.................if you take Clive's point into account that Davey was a number one in 2014 and spent part of last season at heat leader at various times then sorry it should be the other way round............ If they are taking averages from 2014 season for riders who did not ride here last season then surely the averages of those who did ride here in 2014 should also be taken into consideration.............. Unless they ever publish the criteria we will never know how are why certain riders are on the so called list and why some or not..........either way if the list is published then there are going to be people who think certain riders should not be on there and some that are not should be........... FFS get over it.............if Buzz does not meet the criteria then its not Poole's fault it is the fault of those who made the rules.............. RP No ambition?????????????? Ummmmmm I was not................no one knows what the criteria is for the heat leader list just that Buzz is not on it.................I was just pointing out that why should Buzz be on the heat leader list when Davey has a higher average.............there are a lot of inflated averages because of the way the rides worked out last year but that does not mean that someone with average of 6.48 should be on the heat leader list any more than someone with a 7.19 average should not regardless of how they attained it................ Yet Watt has a much higher average than Buzz who you think should be on the HL list but Davey should not be................. And you say I talk rubbish.................... Poole was £17 last season and the season before that possibly in 2013 as well............next seasons prices have not been announced yet............. RP

I am also not saying that Newman would be in the WTC squad next year..............though he has been on the short list before....................I cannot find the link at the moment but when they printed the list of over all actual averages in the Speedway Star Newman had a higher average than Garrity............... What Garrity needs to do is change his attitude..............I have watched him a good few times and seen him deliberately try to and occasionally succeed in taking out other riders........what he did to Lambert at Cardiff shows he needs to calm down and I have seen him try and take out Newman a few times at Poole................... I hope that Kyle with the way they have changed the draft rules next season gets an opportunity to prove himself in the team proper............. RP

Not at all..................when they published the actual averages of all riders Newman had a higher actual average than Garrity as a draft rider over the season..............that is all I am saying.............where did I imply anything was being manipulated...............nowhere............. RP

Excuse me tell me where I said I did not like English riders.................I have a lot of time for a lot of them but there are a few who I dislike.............so what everyone has riders they like and dislike..............the only ones I have said that I am not a fan of is Garrity and Cook................. And no I was not an Aussie flag waver at King's Lynn last year when I went................and you cannot tell me who I can and cannot cheer for either if I wanted to cheer for the Aussies I would....................I don't tell you who to support so back off...............for the record I cheered for Magic at this years GP though I suppose you think that is wrong too................. No one tells me that Garrity is better than Newman.................until Garrity changes his attitude he will never make it amongst the big boys..................and for the record in the EL draft riders this season Newman had a higher average over all than any other draft rider Garrity included................ Exactly...................and as Skidder1 said where is Garrity when it comes to riding in Poland............if anyone lacks ambition I would say it is Garrity for not wanting to get himself known over there.................... Utter rubbish................Newman was going to be in the team when they introduced the draft in 2014 regardless............ Garrity chose not to go in the draft but the fact that reserves now have averages and can move up and down within the team makes a difference............. RP

For once I agree with you.................the way things worked out last season means basically that some riders averages are over inflated second string or under deflated heat leader................when you have a team where four of the riders finished on above 6.5 averages (the only one not inflated or deflated was Magic as he was a heat leader all season) it makes a mockery of trying to work out who should be where............. RP

To add to your list TNT the reserves at Lakeside are Blackbird (tbc) and Mear (confirmed) Also I remember seeing that R Worrall is at reserve at BV with his brother.............not quite sure what that is all about but I am certain that is in the article on the BV website..................(Sorry misread that bit but it is badly worded on there he is in the main team but has a 4.10 average) What annoys me is that people are assuming riders are on the heat leader list when indeed none of us have any idea what the criteria is (as I said before) but as I have also mentioned else where those that started at second string last year in some cases ie Davey Watt have over inflated averages because of riding against reserves more and some heat leaders have lower averages than what they should as well...............the majority of heat leaders spent a short spell at second string last season anyway............... I have no idea why people are blaming Poole for this when like with the draft they have nothing to do with the way the riders are selected for it............ Its down to the powers that be who make the rules and all teams have the same rules to work to...............so its not favouring anyone in theory.................if anything some riders with around a 6 point average may find it harder to get a team place.............. RP PS and by the way why has everyone assumed Holder is in the Poole line up when it is yet to be confirmed................

Funny I don't see anyone else saying its 'cheating' and please re read my post - I said no one and that includes you knows what the criteria is for the heat leader list and everyone is making assumptions as to who it on it................and who is not and who should be for that matter............until it is known then you cannot make the allegations of cheating............... And did Buzz ride 70 % of the last two seasons as a heat leader????????? I don't believe he did so Steve O if what SCB believes is right it makes a mockery of what you said.............. And please note at no point have I ever said who should and should not be on the list....... RP

Not cheating at all...................every team has every opportunity to sign any riders within the rules as they stand............at the moment no one really knows what the criteria is for the so called heat leader list............though I can see why some people think certain riders should be on the list and others should not..............Who says Rory is on the heat leader list.................everyone is making assumptions as to who is and who is not without it ever being released................... If a rider did not ride in 2015 such as Buzz, Mads etc why should they be on the heat leader list other than if their averages were taken as at the end of the previous season of racing and they were higher than what they could have been at the end of 2015..................... Its not Poole manipulating anything at all.................its other teams not using the rules to their best advantage................ RP

And your proof of average manipulation because of this is where?????????????? As far as I am aware there are no EL clubs that are affiliated to PL clubs................Poole did have with Scunthorpe at one time but they certainly do not now with any club................. RP

This was suggested a few seasons ago and no one wanted to know.................even though there were several riders all for it.......... The points limit has nothing to do with why top riders will not ride over here..............its more down to being cost effective than anything else.............. This is also why a squad system would work.................and would do away with the need for rider replacement and most likely guests.............ok not everyone gets a meeting every week but surely it makes sense and helps when injuries or personal commitments get in the way................ They scrapped the points limit in Poland and it worked............ RP

The thing is all teams start out on a level playing field so to speak.............last year it was set at 34 and the reserves were not included...........this year it is set at 40.5 and the reserve are included.................... The majority of reserve pairings have in the region of 7 or 8 points leaving around 32.5 for the main team which is lower than last year.............. It was always known that some GP stars may not be back but with some second strings on over inflated averages and some heat leaders on lower averages than they should be it should even its self out............... RP
