Rich area.......................yes there are some who are but the majority of us are not.................the majority of us struggle with not having had a pay rise for 6 years and him indoors has had a minimal one for the first time in 5 years this month...............the cost of living gets higher but wages do not increase.............I cannot afford to go to every meeting much as I would like to.............its a choice of speedway or having enough food at the end of the month...................not all of us are on £50k a year salaries.............we don't even earn that between us not by a long chalk............ There are families that I know that are struggling more than we are so before you go saying its a very rich area think again..............don't bracket us all the same........... RP PS I guess now is not a good time to say I got into Poole Speedway at kids rate until I was 21................ Oh dear oh dear....................anyone wishing ill of a rider like that wants banning from social media and the sport as a whole.............totally unnecessary and totally unacceptable conduct of a so called fan regardless of what they think of him as a rider.................

We did not refuse to ride against Lakeside..........we asked for the meeting to be postponed there is a difference............. The choice was postpone it which Lakeside agreed to or be fined for fielding an understrength team................. RP

You know what makes me laugh.............anyone would think those who criticise Darcy for what he has done and allegedly done and was cleared of have never done a single thing wrong either legal or illegal in your lives................. Look back at the 70's when riders would often have a pint before getting on a bike............look at other riders who have been involved in drink and drug issues............do they get as much stick as Darcy does?????????? No but then in some cases social media was not around then but if it was would they have been given stick???????????? Why pick on Darcy............you don't see the likes of Michael Lee, Antonio Lindback or Gary Havelock getting the same criticism..................just to name three.............. my 6 1, 1 night per week for elite league speedway, premier and national league teams can choose when they want to ride as long as it's not on the elite league night. 2, Scrap the tactical double and replace with tactical substitute to be used when 6 down, and as many times as you like as long as you are -6 3, keep the draft but your number 6 must be under 25 and your number 7 must be under 21, also introduce to Premier league, top 5 draft riders each year must be fit into the main body of the team the following year as a number 2 or 4 but on a protected 4.00 average 4, Introduce ride on music for each rider, sounds daft, but each rider comes out to his chosen tune, red first, then blue, then white and yellow, each rider becomes synonymous with that tune, and gives the crowd time to cheer or boo in Nicki's case each rider, it has done wonders for the darts, and as soon as the race has finished the winning rider does a lap of honour to his tune, and as soon as he has cleared the track and the results are given the next race build up starts, except of course for track grading or a short break if a rider has 2 on the trot, this may sound trivial but keeps the meeting flowing and as a dad who regularly takes kids, i'm sure it would go down well with the little ones as it helps to identify riders 5, Squad systems, 10 riders, the same 1-7 system, but with one reserve heat leader, I reserve second string and a number 8, teams chosen riders must still fit to a points average, but cuts out R/R and guests, riders can still double up as nights are different 6.Reintroduction of a cup, (similar to old bspa cup?) seeded and open to all teams in all leagues, yes, there are going to be some hammerings along the way, but if it was seeded that say national league teams were seeded in a 1 legged competition at home to premier league clubs and premier league clubs seeded at home to elite league clubs there could be some upsets along the way, I'm sure fans of national league teams would love to have the chance to see the likes of Lambert, Morris, Kurtz etc at their home tracks, and i'm sure some of the top premier teams would be capable of upsetting the big boys with it being a one off home match Again I expect people to tell me none of that will work, but you never know ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 One night a week racing would not work in the EL...............too many restrictions by other users of the stadiums and local authority rules about curfews etc.. 5 Squad system..................been saying it for years...........it works in other countries so why no here........... I was sat by where the riders came out for the parade................Pedersen was all smiles til his name was announced and as soon as the booing started his head and shoulders dropped and he looked really uncomfortable..................everyone else just looked straight ahead but Nicki was all smiles til then............ 1 Yes there were people checking bags while we queued...............not on entry............. 2 Agreed................ 3 Can't say I noticed but some of them were shown 4 would have been useful............. Its about that..............however I also remember reading about they were only going to sanction the use of it for the World Cup and not GP's............though whether that has changed since it was first announced I have no idea.............. RP

From a lot of peoples point of view it would be more difficult...............it takes us on average 3 hours to get to Cardiff sometimes less dependent on traffic............last time we went up to Manchester on a Friday night (well to Runcorn in Cheshire which is not that far away) it took us 6 hours............keep it at Cardiff................. RP

Can I also say a big thank you to the Belle Vue fans who let us share a taxi with them from the campsite to Cardiff and the King'sLynn/Peterborough fans who we shared one back with..............hope you all had a great time.............. RP

Its worth it.............max cost of a taxi from the site is £20 (we got shared an 8 seater with other fans both ways and it cost us a fiver each way) the atmosphere is good and the site has a great view over the bay...............it has a pub on site but food is limited.............but the drinks are cheap............. RP

Why use hotels when you can camp for a more reasonable price not that far away from the centre of Cardiff...............we stayed at the Marconi campsite at Lavernock point for the weekend and it cost £40 for the two of us including electric hook up for the motor home..............(thinks small one) You don't have to spend a fortune to do Cardiff.............. RP

Just got back................the one thing that sticks out in my mind was from where we were sat was right by where the riders came out on parade...........when Nicki P was waiting he was smiling at everyone around him where as most of the others looked straight ahead............and I don't think he was expecting the reaction from the fans.............as soon as he was on that ramp his head dropped and his shoulder slumped............... Yes it was a bit gate and go but there were some good passes.............NKI deserving the win...............never saw that coming I thought Holder had it all wrapped up.................good to know Batch has no broken bones............ The only thing that annoyed me was Tai doing laps after the final............yes its his home GP but I felt he was taking away the glory for Iversen's win by doing it................... RP

All riders should be tested before a GP not just random tests..............when you look back at the 80's and 90's and earlier how many riders got on a bike having had a pint before hand............. I wish people would stop thinking he is going to do it again...........there is no guarantee he will there is no guarantee he won't but I would say the chances are he won't.............. RP

Why would Janowski not put in an appearance...................he is fit...........unlike when it should have been run............ I think that the Aces should be more worried about what Agent Grajczonek is likely to do.............. RP
