Riders are contracted to their clubs to the end of October so if they are leaving earlier then surely they are in breach of contract..............unless racing in an FIM recognised event such as the GP in Melbourne.................wonder if any Monarchs are riding in that............. Also if I was a Glasgow or Plymouth fan then I would prefer to see them in the play offs with full teams rather than teams made up of guests or r/r.........yeah Newman and Sarjeant are not available because of a BSPA approved date change to the EL play off first leg (a move which was apparently the correct move) and Palovaraa missing for other reasons but it makes sense to hold them when it has been arranged for............. Why do the smugs always want things their own way...............they seem to be jealous of the success the new Glasgow management have achieved..............sore losers spring to mind............... As for who to win??????????? Somerset or Plymouth................ RP

In my dreams..........don't finish til half 6 with a 2 and a half hour ish drive................ Its recommended that anyone regardless of what they do for a living should not work for 7 days following concussion............if you want to you need medical clearance.............(I speak as someone who got an ear bashing off her GP for going back to work 2 days after being kept in hospital after knocking myself out for 24 hours last December and I do an office job) RP

Ok lets have a thread about this............what are everyone's thoughts about it................Poole have gone through the whole season virtually unchanged as a team (apart from when Davey was injured earlier on and we got Josh G in) and Coventry have suffered numerous issues................ Can the Pirates plunder the Bees or will the Bees sting the Pirates............ RP

I would rather watch Bomber than Kildemand any day..............the number of times that he has fallen off in GP's is an embarrassment but to go out in and win one when the ref should have excluded him in an earlier race so he would not have made the semi's discredits the GP series...............in the race in question he was clearly the primary cause of the stoppage but the ref did not have the guts to exclude him..........so wrong........... On the subject of Vaculik I have always rated him when he raced in the series before.............would love to see him ride in the UK RP

With all due respect Tungate has served his ban and there is no guarantee Auty would have been able to ride..............would you be saying the same if it was the other way round and Tungate was injured and Auty had served a ban for what happened??????????? Thought not........... RP

If Theo is long track racing in an FIM event that will take priority anyway so they cannot ban him.............. RP

I work with Lee and we were having a chat the other day about this...............I don't think its so much getting permission to do it I don't think but costs and time involved................if they can work together to get an official t-shirt that would be great................ RP

I have always used one of two user names on forums.............the other is Blind-as-a-bat (cos without glasses I cannot see beyond the end of my nose...) Red Panda came about because of my love of panda's in general especially red ones (also known as firefoxes) and the fact that at the time I had red hair............... Argue?????????? Having beaten Swindon at home a few weeks ago I think a trouncing is unlikely............but then you never know with this sport............... RP

Well if it carries on like it did through the night and most of this morning it will be pulled though the weather is supposed to improve later today but I don't hold out much hope............. RP

Ummmmm no as he has signed for Swindon for the rest of the season............... Good point though............the thing with the squad system is it would do away with the need for guests and rider replacement as much as possible you could still have riders that doubled up and there would be an automatic replacement available if they were needed by their other team which would work........... It works in Sweden and Poland so there is no reason why it could not work here...........if some of the big names do not want to commit to a full season then it would be ideal................it may even encourage more to want to come and ride here............... RP

Started off lovely and sunny but has clouded over now.............apparently its to start raining about 11/12 and get heavier about 3 ish for the rest of the day........... @ Gavan.............remember Poole may have run heat 10 at Coventry and they refused to ride but it was Mick Horton who said on camera that if you re run heat 9 you may as well run heat 10............Poole may have been involved in the meeting (which should not have gone ahead in my opinion) but they were not to blame for what happened.............. RP

Two obstacles with one night racing............Local authorities and other stadium users...............add to what you have just said there are some PL riders who are riding in Poland now.................. Even if they could run it over three nights you are still looking at the same issues............ RP
