To be fair to the ref, it did look like contact.. So you can see how he decided Doyle was at fault.. An ex rider in the box probably wouldn't have and instead excluded Bewley... Block passes like this in Poland are ten a penny and, over there, Dan would likely have gone... Niot a glaring mistake by the ref by any means, but personally I would say he was wrong..

It just shows what a knifedge the sport in the UK is on.. Sponsors have become for many a sizeable chunk of the "cake", rather than the cherry on top of the icing on it... A true real supporter of the sport for many years, so you have to send best wishes to him and to Wolves..

World Cup - Wroclaw July 2023

Wright must have said that he didnt want to do it... ? Given the shape of the track, and his commitment, tenacity and hard riding style, surely he would have been a shoe in to take position four? -
You would have to get every country to agree.. And the FIM would need to be invoived to enforce the rule, as all their competitions would need to follow the sane regulations.. And riders with currently tens of thousands of pounds of machinery would have no use for it, and need to purchase more.. A potentially good idea but simply that horse has bolted and their isn't even a stable anymore, never mind a door to it...

The racing is, I would say, better than ever.. The amount of TV coverage has never been so high, both domestically and globally.. Both, combined, delivering huge opportunities for growth in the UK.. Sadly, opportunities that are never taken up, or maybe even noticed?, it appears..

Belle Vue v Kent - Friday 7 July

Also a cost consideration too I would imagine.. The big scores at home will need some balance as I would think there isnt too much profit made running a "junior team"... Nor will many fans (if any at all), travel away to watch them, so winning at home and being "competitive " away wont be the worst plan in the world.. -

Only in (UK) Speedway could this be a good thing for a team... -
Captain Kurtz... Becoming a proper leader in the team, and possibly the most committed, hard riding, Captain in the league?
