100%.... No wriggle room... You need emergency support then you get it... But there are certain caveats to it to ensure complete transparency and integrity... Not difficult to administer, yet UK Speedway makes it look like it is... -

100%... So then make an official statement.... Of any sport, Speedway is the one that, due to the way they run the sport, has so many "supp regs" or "ahhh but, ifs"... I personally think they don't as they will set precedents and provide public reference points should they do something different for a similar, but, (given so many "ahh but, ifs" they generate), not quite the same scenario the next time... So many self inflicted issues driven by the need for a myriad of "ahh but ifs" that they require due to not making clear and simple ones that allow zero wriggle room.. For me, a "seven day ban" sounds harsh for looking after your kid, however, a "seven day emergency leave" (with possible extention), to look after your kid would be fair, and, would paint the sport in a modern enlightened way.... And prevent zero conspiracy theories from your customer base who, due to decades of "dodgy" occurrences have become just a tad cynical... Which is never good for any business... -

The lack of leadership of this sport in the UK doesn't stand it in too good a stead does it? If a clear "rule" or "regulation" is then not followed then at least an explanation should be made public as to why... -
King Charles would say... "My gosh, is Speedway still going? One used to love watching Barry Briggs at Plough Lane, Mayta used to effing love it"....

They didn't get the cut through with Hans, Trick, Crumpy, Pedersen, and Hancock... All English speakers... And then you had Havvy, Loram and Woffy... None of them crossed over to make the mainstream take any interest... And, most importantly, it isn't Poland's responsibility to make UK and World Speedway prosper... That is down to those who take responsibility to be the custodians of the sport.. The bottom line is... They are just not very good at holding that position..

That's fine... And I am sure those who understand Polish laughed... However, who effing made the sport in Poland what it is today? That's right! Great Bloody Britain.! That's who!!! (Play Land of Hope and Glory in the background,).. We made Poland what it is today by, several years ago, gracefully, giving them our best British riders like Hans Nielsen, Greg Hancock, Jason Crump, Leigh Adams, Tony Rickardsson, Nicki Pedersen, and Billy Hamill, etc, etc etc... Not to mention allowing BZ to do a few laps at Perry Barr that turned a "throttle jockey" into a five time world champ.. Thank you very much... So... Show some bloody respect...! "Mother of the free" etc, etc, dont know the rest...

I agree, however, you can do testing without too much risk or consequence, (you are never getting dropped are you?), and beating others will always be a positive which improves confidence... And, for the top lads, it is a pretty "easy" (as much as it can be for a Speedway rider), very decent return for six months work..

When my lad rode cycle Speedway the advice he got, from those who had lots of experience, was... "You don't have to be the fastest to win, you just have to be fast enough"... Good advice.... Many a trophy was won by getting to bend one first, and then going "fast enough", on the right line, to mean those faster had to try and go around.. With some "tough moves" required now and again..... He used one of the clubs' bikes when some he rode against had several hundreds pounds of bike.. With tyres changed from the basic model to more expensive ones... Some even had their names on the wheel rims and frame... Sound familiar?...
