The fundamental issue is more that each comp has "in house" sponsors... Nobody from "outside the UK speedway bubble" sees any value in sponsoring any comp.. When non speedway following sponsors can start seeing it as "non brand damaging" then this incredible sport (as Poland proves) will move forward in leaps and bounds..

I think the riders 100% believe in it... A fair proportion of fhe fans maybe not so. (Unless our team wins of course then all of the nonsense is forgotten).... Well done to Ippo.. Always thought that Chris Louis was one of the more modern thinking promoters... A double is on the cards, and I get to see Emil at the NSS again...

Oh dear.... Is it two tactical rides they can use? If so, their "top 3" could have 34 out of the 60 available over the two legs.. Should keep it close if so... The reserves will be very interesting, as all four have quality, well in advance of their years..

And know that "guests" like we have over here would ruin that tribal rivalry that exists across the teams, which make so many meetings worth watching just for the atmosphere being created by the opposition fans. Fans who believe in "their team".... And the media, and therefore the sponsors too, would also retreat in their droves... The outcome? What we have over here, meetings getting cobbled together just so speedway can take place. With the inevitable apathy from many of those watching something "contrived"... Speedway has injuries (who knew?), but so do a great many other sports, and whilst the final may now be a one sided mismatch, there have been plenty one sided mismatches down the years in all sports when full strength teams have gone up against each other.. Maybe they could sign Robert Lambert? I believe it has happened over here before... Best of luck to Wroclaw, their reserves will need to be on fire, and you suspect so will Bewley, Laguta and Pawlicki.... Certainly not a bad trio to give it a go with though...

I think most who go accept it is all a bit made up "Mickey Mouse bollocks".... But the spectacle itself can still be great to see... I get to see the best of both worlds when I go over to watch in Poland...

And they watch the spectacle, like it, and follow their team, then start to get into the minutiae, then think.. "Bollocks to this"...

I wonder what willl happen if the Wroclaw meeting doesnt take place and gets rescheduled for another night Redcar, or Belle Vue, are racing? The collaboration effort between Poland and GB looks like Poland saying, "We will do what we went, when we want, and for your compliance we will let you have some of our riders who either don't have the GP's to race in, or have finished their seasons and we don't need then anymore". Best of luck to Charles but whichever way you make it sound, it does just add another devaluation of the competitions over here doesnt he? As, if they were important, then this simply wouldn't happen... Hope he has a great play offs in all leagues but the one in Poland will clearly need to be his priority given the stakes involved... It will be a great experience for him hopefully and a shop window to put himself in for further opportunity in any of the leagues...

Good news for the play offs. Doyle, Emil, (and probably Fricke) all in them... Will hopefully be back from hols on time to see Emil at the NSS...
