Love Lublin What an atmosphere they create... Imagine that over here? "Sit down, stop making so much noise"... "You're sat in my place, I always sit here". "A big happy 76th birthday to Betty whose favourite rider was Ove Fundin"..

Wroclaw missing Laguta's race wins.. Czuganow not good enough to be a "No4" in the team at this level.. Woofy no longer wins those "clutch heats" which can make all the difference during a meeting to either defend a total or get a 4-2... And Dan needs to be far more forceful!! Gets bullied far too easily for a lad with his undoubted talent.. He will end up wasting it if he doesnt start to be more aggressive... One thing really noticable about Polish Speedway is how quickly a meeting can be ran even when both teams run R/R.. Seems to take an age over here when R/R in place..

Majic... Not been the greatest racing this year but every meeting still has a few moments where you just go "Wow!".....

Janusz Kolodziej... Always reminds me of Wieslaw Jagus.. Didnt always travel well but always a top level performer in the toughest league in the world... A proper 100% rider...

The risk taking is a huge pull for the sport... No Brakes No Fear etc.. They dont do it for our entertainment... They do it for the money, the fame, and the adrenaline rush... Tonight was hugely challenging which showcased the outlandish bravery and ability of some, and the not so of others.. Twenty three heats made up of four laps of slick track boredom, on a horsepower fest of speed, it definitely wasnt...

If I was casually watching and not a Speedway fan, then I would suggest I would definitely have kept watching given the unpredictable nature of virtually every race... For the purist maybe not a great advert.. For the non fan, maybe it has pricked interest? I personally enjoyed it given the huge challenges facing the riders....

If he has those problems they cant be that bad... Otherwise he would sound like Bartek...

The Dood.... Full on all night..... The one that got away for Dan though... Hopefully many more opportunities to rectify it given his undoubted talent...

Fastest on view wide riding so should have gone yellow... Could have then cut in rather than drifting out when in front... Red and Yellow were the all night "go to " favourites.. And you dont have to win, just finish second...

There is a fair argument to be made that suggests GB currently have 3 out of the top ten riders in the world... A long time since that argument would carry any resonance...

Fair play to Dudek.. Full on.... Rough track.. Tai, Dan and Robert all in the semis... (Though it probably doesnt say much for the tracks they rode over here in their development years to be able to handle it....)..

With the previous regime, they kept the "jewels in the crown" for themselves and everyone else paid them to run a meeting... Maybe this is a legacy of that re contracts already signed, and going forward Discovery will focus more on the tracks which provide the best racing and not who pays up the most to them?

Freddie's Czestowocha fans must be delighted to see him to do so well in the GP's once more..
