Harris Threatens To Quit Team Gb

Bye Bye Bomber, no great loss -
1000 x 10 = 10,000 700 x 15 = 10,500 But the 1000 is 300 more or programmes, food and drink etc assuming worky get money from them (and taking into account not everyone will buy something there). I know few tracks make nothin outta bar and burger van. Question is would the extra 300 ppl spend over 500 to make it worth while. Is it all just desperate measures of a desperate man?

Edinburgh V Scunthorpe & Redcar - Friday, August 31st
Cj69 replied to lucifer sam's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Glad thats over. Yes racing was pretty much NIL but fair play to Scorpions faster out the gate and attacked the track, deserved winners and maybe shud have been by more. Redcar well less said the better, there in the right place in the table. Just glad to get another two meetings out the way and we've moved up to 6th, can we stay there i doubt it but stranger things have happened. -
If thats the only problem im sure someone will think of a solution. I will get a letter written rite away to the powers that be. Cant see how it will possibly fail now.

Would quite like a GP2, ideally the same day or day before in same stadium. GP1 would be top 10 riders (seeded for every round), followed by top 5 from GP2 meet (prev or same day) with an additional wild card (home rider). End of season top 5 from GP1 are guaranteed place joined by top 5 GP2 riders, making upto 10 and then same format as above for each individual meet. Bottom 5 of original seeded riders then drop to the GP2 joining whoever qualifies much as we have now. Can already see complications of this and logistically it would prob never work. But would be a great weekend of racing to get 2 meets either fri/sat or sat afternoon/sat evening. Shoot me down but its only an idea

Not worried in the slightest about getting anything booked, saved it till last minute this year will do it again next year and im very confident i wont pay more than £35 for a night in cardiff.

Why would people book rooms before the date is officially announced?? You only need to wait couple hrs
-
Wooooo top. How much would it cost me to stop the comp now

Matthew Wethers Testimonial 17/08
Cj69 replied to Lioness's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Cooks waiting on results of Xrays on his hand, was wearing a sick bowl as a hat in a twitter pic so still in good spirits. Summers took nasty tumble early but finished meeting on a high with last couple rides. Good night (bar few nasty crashes). Loved the race the wrong way (turned right) in a great time of 85 sec and fitting that Wethers won the overall meeting. And Rory showed he can still ride the dale by breaking track record in heat one then the prefect cut back later on after 'missing' the start. Great night for a great servant to Edinburgh Speedway! -
