  1. I know it's after the horse has bolted, but one wonders what could have happened with this Wolves side if Adams had used that extra 2 points which were available to them at the start of the season. Think he was determined to get in Nicol to please Becker, but in truth he has been the biggest let down, and certainly needs to up his game in the play-offs,if the Monmore men are to succeed in taking the trophy.
  2. Panthers would have to win every match, and hope Lynn stop a Wolves victory later this month. If the Monmore men win their remaining two home matches, they can't be caught.
  3. Or maybe Lawson was a bit pi$$ed off he didn't also get the booking for the return meeting at Monmore tonight .
  4. Lawson replaces Morris at the NSS,using R/R for the return at Monmore.
  5. Yep,but street parking only as a last resort.Last time I used a side street close to Monmore, had my side window smashed and lost all contents and stereo.
  6. The only thing you Excel in,is trying to give us bad jokes, and you're pretty bad at that.
  7. And here's me thinking after scores of 12...11...12 against Wolves this season he only turns it on against us.
  8. Covid rules permitting. Don't think he was allowed to catch a flight from Germany yesterday, so it's a long slow journey by road and ferry.(That's if the Under 23 team meeting was still on,can't see any reports)
  9. Wasn't he supposed to be riding yesterday in the Under 23 team event in Germany?
  10. Pity this meeting wasn't on TV,then perhaps some guy's like Steve wouldn't moan so much about Monmore being boring. Passes on both inside and outside, unlike the borefest from Sheffield we had in the last televised match.Wonder why he made no comments about that particular track.
  11. Kevin mentioned last night how tall some riders seem to be these days compared to when he was competing. Think he's probably right, can't think of to many guys that were above average in bygone days.In todays speedway l suppose Sam Masters must be one of the tallest but that didn't seem to hinder him on last night's showing.
  12. Sorry Dan,I was a bit riled by the original post I suppose.Think covid posts should be banned by the admin on here,it's been a stressful 18 months for everybody, let's just talk about speedway.
  13. I can say something visa versa about Wolverhampton / Brighton but I won't because I'll probably be banned. My ex wife comes from Brighton, and I've been going down there for over 30 years, and believe me I've seen things down there that wouldn't happen in Wolverhampton. So don't talk such rubbish.Covid cases in Wolverhampton are no worse than anywhere else in the country.
  14. Still doesn't alter the fact,it 'should be the same rules for all sporting venues. As I said earlier why was Wolves FC only allowed 4000 to attend the match against Utd when Molineux has a capacity of 32,000.Wolves chief Jeff Shi said at the time they had no say in the matter, and it was the council who decided on that figure.Sorry ,but its seems wrong,if its one rule for some, and a different rule for another .
  15. Wolverhampton,s Labour run Council needs to take a serious look at themselves over these lockdown restrictions. Only last month they instructed Wolves F.C for the game against Man Utd to limit the capacity at Molineux to 4000 even though the ground holds 32,000. In comparison,Brighton were allowed to have 9000 paying spectators for their game against Man City, even though the Amex has a lower capacity than Molineux. Central government has told local councils its at their discretion to set safe crowd levels ,but undoubtedly Wolverhampton Council have taken this decision way beyond what was expected.
  16. Nice to hear Freddie hasn't shut the door in returning to Wolves some time in the future, but his main focus is trying to become world champion in the next couple of years.
  17. Finally managed to pause Sky Sports.Absolutly ridiculous, why didn't they just suspend the whole of Sky Sports, while there's no live events. You still receive Sky Sports News without the Sports package,so happy with that.Got to wait now until 6th April,to see if they have adjusted the bill.
  18. Hugh Pym on the BBC has been told by the BMA the virus in the UK won't peak until late June or early July.If that is the case, it's hard to see any kind of normality in sport before late autumn.
  19. Think it will be a huge benefit to both Wolves and Luke Becker that he will be doubling up with Somerset. Can't think of a better track than than the Oak Tree Arena where he can hone his skills and push on with his development.
  20. If this goes balls up from the start, there won't be many there,to see us playing catch up.As one of his main rivals, bet Rossiter can't believe his luck.
  21. Doesn't Sam come from Newcastle in Aus.Really hope everything is ok there, but the latest report says very high risk of bushfires in that area. My sister lives in Queensland, and they had the fire's in October.Just feel so sorry for the heartache this catastrophic event has caused to people down under.
  22. He walked out on us the last time, what's saying he wouldn't do it again.Leopards don't change their spots.Showed no loyally to the fans or the club.
  23. Was said on a two year contract. But can't remember the poster.
  24. Was there updates to why Becker hasn't signed yet.
