  1. Edit.* Dont know if the transfer deadline applies if he is no longer under contract.
  2. Trouble is, what if he comes up with the excuse"Mondays are just to much hassle, but wednesdays are fine" Wont be this season though, now the transfer deadline has closed. Being our asset makes no difference,if he wants to go,he will go.He knows he holds all the aces,as it does with all the riders.
  3. Havent seen any news on this one yet,but might as well go with R/R for Tai and give the others an extra ride. 50 - 40 to the home side regardless who fills in. Are we expecting another bumper crowd .
  4. Pity they didnt impose a 8 o,clock curfew in some of the Wolves matches .
  5. Used to be a decent banker to bring something back from Arlington in the good old days, now all we seem to bring back is a bloody nose.
  6. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr* Nicolai Klindt. Think some Wolves fans(including some on here)would rather have their teeth pulled out than seeing him in a Wolves jacket again.
  7. In today,s Express & Star Tai says he wants promoters to have two No 1s so they can share the workload from 32 meetings to 16 each. Also revealing he is still struggling to cope with his exhausting schedule but which he thought he could handle. No mention of him wanting a fixed day of racing for the Elite league.
  8. If they were interested in doing a season over here what starting averages would Eduard Krcmar and Oliver Bernzton be given if the Elite league stays in its present format.?
  9. Nobody in any form of job can go on forever, maybe just maybe, Old Father time has just caught up with PK.Hope he doesnt go down the same path as Sudden Sam went on. We all want to remember how he was,not how he is now. Think we will know the answer before the season close, and what the future holds for 2015.
  10. Has to be a big improvment on last night at Smederna then. Unlike Tai,PK seemed to be taking his Elite form with him to Sweden.
  11. Think CVS and Adams thought Proctor or Wells would fill one of the heat leader roles in the future, but sadly cant see this now happening. In fact it wouldnt be much of a suprise to see Ty making a early exit back to Aus,think his aspirations were higher than the Premier league. Wells.always steady at Monmore, but if the team want to win titles, his away form says, sorry he aint youre man.
  12. Wonder if Eduard Krcmar "has had inquiries from Elite clubs"(perhaps mentioned on another page, that ive missed)Looks very good prospect.
  13. I think our season virtually went down the plug hole on 23rd June, when we were thrashed at home by Lynn.Since then its been a downward spiral both on and off the track. Wolverhampton 2015.The biggest worry for me will be how Dave Parry reacts to this seasons ball$-up.His sponsership money is performance related,so dont think hes gonna be to pleased with the way the team have performed.Think im right in saying its the longest one going in British speedway(could be wrong though)so lets just hope he thinks this is just a one season blip.
  14. Hang on a minute Steve. You dont have to be Stevie Wonder to see the crowds have been pi$$ poor, especially since the Lynn meeting, which in effect finally killed off our play-off hopes. Think they will be better for the next one though,Poole always attract our biggest attendance.
  15. Glad i made the right decision in going to Cheltenham to watch the cricket,(at least i have one team to support, who knows how to win matches)instead having to indure another miserable night at Monmore. Seems i wasnt the only one to give this meeting a miss, been told by someone, there were only two men and a dog to watch this woeful Wolves performance.
  16. Blimey, like to know what a normal crowd is then. The only bumper crowd weve had this season was for the British final.More mind games from Adams into trying to up the anti.
  17. Think this debate has gone on long enough now.Tai has apologised(but it seems an apology isnt enough). Tbh,i think the earlier problems with Tai might have had something to do this.He has repeatedy said it wasnt mechanical, and even went as far to indicate"mind your own buiness" in one interview. Its obvious now, hes not going to let on what(or who)the problem was,so ive come to the conclusion,we might has well put all this to bed,and move on. Ps ------------It would have been interesting to see what Shovlar,s views would have been on this.Probably along the lines, this could never have happened at Poole.
  18. Well, is that little rumour supposed to make Wolves fans feel better.
  19. No doubt he will now go and get a max for Vetlanda in the Elitserien tonight, and suddenly al the tiredness has gone.
  20. Yes,Woffy seems to be the new mouth piece now for the Wolves in talking to the media. Adams hasnt shared his thoughts for weeks, but he can hardly come out with statement "We can still make the play-offs".when in all honesty he knows we cant. Edit*He has had something say,on the club website today.
  21. Yep,Wells forgot about him. Yes,Thorsell is one to keep. But only last week Adams said we lack a genuine third leader,so he obviously doesnt see him in that role. With Jacob,s average now,he would be hard to fit in as a second string,if, as we presume he returns to PK to fit that role. All ifs and buts,no one knows what the format will be next season
  22. With regard to post 970 that i would like to see Max Fricke in the side next season, obviously the Monarchs would want a substantial fee for such a talented and young rider, but when did Wolves last splash the cash for the transfer of another rider from a British club. Not sure the details were ever released about Tai,s contract with Rye House,or how a figure was paid for him to transfer his services to Monmore.I know his dad had a lot to do with him him ending up at Wolves, but did he ever have a clause inserted for him to speak with Elite clubs, when he felt it was time for him to move up a division. Other than Tai,cant honestly remember when we last paid a fee to another club for either a British or foreign rider.David Howe ?.
  23. Not bothered about this season now,all virtually dead rubbers for the remainder of the season. One kid who i would love to see at Monmore next season is Max Fricke(although i think he will end up at Poole).Exiting to watch and a guy who doesnt give up on lost causes. Proctor and Wells have become to predictable now,and have shown no sign of making the next step upward.Although its unlikely CVS and Adams will disperse with both of them. Sentiment and nostalgia would be the only thing that brings PK back to Monmore, because on current form alone he sadly wouldnt warrent a place in the side, although on a 6.7 average(and just his presence around the pits)would say otherwise. Tai and Pawlicki pick themselves.Jacob could be tricky because his upturn in averages, although it would be unfair to despose of him after a very encourging season. All in all, think this season hasnt been bad,but next season serious question marks need to be asked,to avoid another term of mediocrity.
  24. Think youre spot on regarding third heat-leader,almost certainly PK will return for a final hurrah next season. He has finally showed signs of slowing down now with Essex, but still could do a decent job for us on an average possibly less than 6.5. Some may think its a backward step, but as an asset, and given our record of splashing the cash, think a deal is 99% certain. Note Proctor was his usual self last night ,getting beaten by Scunthorpe second strings.
  25. I mentioned on the Lakeside/Wolves thread about crowds being down at Wolves/Swindon last week.Think there was slightly more last night, but think supporters are now voting with their feet now the the play-offs are virtually gone. Obviously gate money being down will be a worry for CVS and Adams, but another worry could well be future sponsor money from Dave Parry, who i think was paying on performance related results with a minimum of getting to the play-offs.
