Id still take Joe Jacobs(if Cov dont want him). Dont think Morris or Perry did enough away from the Green, although still plenty of time for improvement.
-
R.I.P. Responsible for the re-birth of Cradley.(Although wasnt very popular with Wolves fans). Put a lot of time and effort into speedway, will be sorely missed.
-
Not only that,it would be irresponsible of the Wolves management not to use him on that average. Its unlikely Tai will ever be on 7 again,so we must take advantage of that while we can.
-
Agree about Woffy, nothing to suggest from the statement he made from the Cleevland that he wouldnt be riding in the UK next year. With an average of nearly 2 points below that of Freddie,it would be nonsencesical not to use that to our advantage. And if ,as TNT quoted in an earlier post that we could get Bernzton in on a 5 point average,a combined total of twelve for these two would be a no-brainer.
-
Like to think Berntzon would be on a 5 average, but more likley to be 6 id imagine.
-
Not sure if Proctor will be back anyway. After the nightmare season hes just had, might think about giving Britain a miss next year. Suppose it depends if he can build his confidence up again this winter in Oz.
-
Inevitable that Fricke will at some stage leave the PL for the Elite League full time, but what team(s) can really afford the fee that the Monarchs would be asking for. Undoubtably the next best talent to come out of Oz since Darcy Ward(was his fee £30k ?).So thats going to put most sides out of the equation. Really only Poole have that kind of money, but dont know wether they really want him. Hard to see CVS or Horton coming anywhere near the figure payed out for Darcy,so could it be a team that could offer someone in part exchange to tempt Edinburgh

So it does seem according to Nigel Pearson,Ladbrokes have plans to run more greyhound meetings, with the lucrative betting markets around the world being the reason. So really it had nothing to do with rent rise or anything else that doesnt relate to the dog racing.
-
If it was a straight choice between Garrity and Fricke to compete in the main body of the side, then id have the Aussie all day long. Cant see a way they would both be fitted in the team. With possibly three from Sweden, and a new No1?,wouldnt be room for both.

Regards Hulberts, can only go on past experence when they had their office on Cinder Bank. The security was pretty tight, and dont think they liked you to wander around their yard and premises. Havent been down since they moved the head office to the Peartree Lane site, but presume the restrictions still apply to the general public wandering around, which would be the case if a speedway track became a part of their estate. Sorry if i got confused about the traffic problem, was only going on my experiences when visiting suppliers in Pedmore Rd and Netherton.(not on sundays). Anyway good luck in finding a new site, think Sandwell might now be a better bet,as Dudley Council seem determined to wash their hands of any sporting activity in the borough. How long is it now that Dudley Town F.C.have been trying to find somewhere suitable.
-
Apparently Ladbrokes will issue a statement, but only when it suits them.
-
Dont know you started the rumour on Heathens 2015,mentioned on their page, and then a few more joined in. Cant think there is any truth in it.
-
Wish either Ladbrokes or CVS would come out and put these crazy stock-car rumours to bed,Monmore is just not built for sport with four wheels. It was rubbish the last time, and only attended by one man and his dog. Was the reason Cradley were booted out, anything to do with a rise in rent.?
-
Having dealt with Hulberts through their machinery division, not a chance in hell would they allow speedway on that site. Also nowhere big enough, and traffic congestion on Peartree Lane already chaotic.
-
Did he mention anything about the un-named site thats been looked at for the past 12 months. Its hard to believe that somewhere the size of Dudley(nearly 100 sq k)cant find a brown field space thats suitable for speedway. Although(being a resident)nothing suprises me about the inadequate way this council is run.
-
Ive always gone down the Newton Rd to the Scott Arms.Never really had much trouble with traffic, problems seem coming the other way out of the city.
-
Have Cradley ever looked at The Dell.Perfect location and facilities already in place. Is it still council owned ?.
-
Coventry would be mad not to sign Joe Jacobs now hes their asset. We would gladly take him back to Wolves. With the big hitters out of the way next season, should score big points for who ever he rides for.

I didnt go,but apparently Tai said his form for Wolves was embarrassing, and he apologised for it. He wants to be top dog again in the averages after slipping to one of the lowest No 1s in the league. Said his fans in England are amazing, and wants to learn from his mistakes. Because of his injuries, wants to spend more time in the gym,so unlikey of a return to Oz this winter. -
With the uncertainty of Coventry,s future, think Horton will use all his own assets next season.Dosent make financial sence to enter the transfer market, especially now theres a doubt with Peterborough remaining open, and him passing over their contracts to them. The Bees have a lengthy list of retained riders(including Joe Jacobs)so that must place a doubt around riders such as Garrity and Fricke in the 2015 line-up.

Not sticking up for him if thats how it looks Wolfie, lets hear what he has to say first. Quite agree, that his popularity has fallen amongst Wolves fans(especially like yourself and Lefty and others, who travel to all the away matches)that feel they have been badly let down. One of the most frustrating things for me,was watching his behaviour in the pits from televised matches in Sweden compared with the ones we witnessed at Monmore. At Vetlanda,he was like a bottle of fizzy pop,and genuinely looked like he wanted to be there. In total contrast to what he was like on a monday at Wolves, where he seemed glum and downtrodden, and giving the impression it was the last place on earth he wanted to be. The biggest injustice of course, would be to see him move on to another club on that false average, and it was us who gave it him. -

Tai will have his say on sunday at the Cleveland. He wont shy away from awkward questions put to him, from what will be mainly Wolves supporters. Until then, the jury is still out on the rights and wrongs of this season, and whatever the future holds for him he will tell with a honest and truthful answer. Think all the tickets are sold for this event. -
Not sure if its ever really been " the signature" tune as such. Its more a hate theme for Wolves and Baggie fans,it got banned at Molineux by Sir Jack Haywood and Jez Moxey a few years ago because of the obsene lyrics aimed at the Boggie fans from the Wolfies. Still think its played at the Hawthorns though(but not sure,we havent been there for a number of seasons ) Hopefully be back next season,if we dont pass each other on the way

From what i was told by someone who was at the talk-in Wolfie, the management didnt show him to much respect either.
