Wolves V Coventry Monday 30th March

Think Coventry have made a mistake not going R/R,and it will also be a mistake for Wolves if Musielak is declared unfit and they go R/R. They have also gone for a guest, but perhaps with what happened at Brandon with his rides,Adams and CVS just don't want to take the gamble. But there would be better alternatives for Wolves than for the Bees replacing Robson. -
Personally id have gone for Nielsen,he goes well around Monmore. He and Blackbird would have taken some stopping on their home track. But just have to stick with what weve got now,but not very hopeful Bates will pick up any points against the Bees reserves next week.
-
Think the lads had a practice today, but behind closed doors.
-
Just watched it on YouTube, nice style and looked quick. But the track at Torun and the one at Monmore is like chalk and cheese. Just happy if he manages to retain his average, all you can ask in his first season over here.
-
And he could turn out to be another Lukasz Sowka. Wont score as many as Woodward or probably Bridger, but has you say got to give him a chance.
-
Never heard of him until his name appeared in the line-up for this years Olympique on March 23rd. Don't know wether that's now a good idea for him to get to grips with the Monmore track one week before we ride against the Bees. But CVS has said hes probably one for the future.
-
Perhaps he was one of those Albion supporters arrested for throwing seats on the pitch at Villa Park yesterday, and hes still in the nick.
-
Hope CVS and Adams are seeing all these predictions about where Wolves will finish. As BWitcher has already stated elsewhere that we have been dealt a bad hand with the unavailability of both Woffinden and Pawlicki,it does question wether they could have made a better fist of it team wise. Suppose the writing was on the wall what to expect, when we had first pick in the second group of reserves and they chose Josh Bates over everyone else.
-
Looking at the two teams it doesn't fill you with much optimism regardless of the riding order. Just glad they don't ride on paper .
-
Seems strange that St John,s Ambulance will no longer cover meetings at Monmore. Its a paid for service,so only the two parties concerned will know whats gone on. Some company named UK Life Medics takes over the cover.
-
With the demise of Birmingham and the uncertainty of Coventry, some would say in this area its not about winning but about taking part. But not quite sure wether I agree about putting up admission prices for that privilege.
-
Of course theres the option of Cradley taking over Wolves elite licence if things go bottom up. Makes little difference to CVS having a finger in both pies,he knows he will get better crowds with the Heathens anyway. God forbid if it ever comes to that, but stranger things have happened, and there is still no sign of Cradley getting anywhere near to finding a site in either Dudley or Sandwell.
-
Broken dreams.
-
Wont stop CVS and Adams giving us the old flannel about us finishing in the play-offs though. But to be fair they can hardly say anything else. Lots of ifs and buts for me.Beside what happens with Musielak, can Jacob really kick on and be the next Swedish super-star?.
-
I haven't seen anywhere yet(except on this forum)where Mads says categorically that he is not going to ride in Britain. Perhaps,he hasn't yet made up his mind, and is looking at all his options before he decides his future.
-
Read in one of the nationals,it could be the 6th when the matter is put to bed.
-
Is it Friday when we finally get to hear whats happening with Darcy ?.

Wasn't having a go at Wolfsbane,in fact just the opposite. His posts are funny, and im in total agreement with him about the Wolves management. I recall the time in 84,when I went along to the pre-season talk-in at the New Inn.Adams had just taken over the promotion, and he walked in the room bold as brass, making some really bizarre comments. One of them was "Well if things go belly-up financially, ill at least have Maggie Thatcher to bail me out" Not quite sure what he meant by that. But we all know what happened after two seasons at the realm. Things did go belly-up for him financially, and no,he didn't get Maggie to bail him out at the end of his tenure. The strange thing was,we had had some enormous crowds that first season(think there was around 8,000 on the opening night, but it was when the beloved back-straight was open to the public). Unbelieverbly,he stated that he had made huge losses. But no one could really understand why. So yes I can understand Wolfsbane,s frustration with some of the management decicions, and do sympathize with the stance that he has taken. PS.In the Speedway Star,it was stated that Peter Adams was looking after Tai Woffinden,s financial affairs.

Don't get me wrong BW,we will still turn up at the Mol regardless. But a few bad performances, and the natives start to get restless.(Even a few moans next to me in the North Bank on Saturday) Have you ever read the forum in the E & Star when things aren't going well.Think that will tell you the meaning of fickle. But it wont stop me spending my hard earned cash on a season ticket at Wolves,or membership at New Rd(cricket)but have to admit, only go to around 15/20 meetings a season at Monmore(cant always get back on time from Worcester). Still waiting in hope that the last place goes to Mads.
-
Trouble is B.V.it must be something in the water around Wolverhampton.Wolves(football)fans are renowned across the country for being amongst the most fickle supporters around,(hold my hand up I am probably one of them). So it now seems that it has spread to the speedway team as well.I will turn up for most meetings this season, but not really happy with whats on offer for us to cheer. Good luck to Belle Vue,you have a fine side this year, and I am sure your luck will change.

Clambo,my comments about Klindt were tongue in cheek. Wernt really serious about the idea.Hes had his day with Wolves and wont be back.
-
Barking up the wrong tree. Think id have Nicolai Klindt back rather than Barker.
