Swindon - Wolves 2nd July 15
Tommy Sweetman replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Its all very well CVS saying hes looking at new riders, but how do we know they would want to come to Monmore. I remember a post last year, think it was from Wolfie(who deserves a medal by the way for travelling the country watching this lot)saying how he was asking Mikkel Michelsen why he chose Eastbourne over Wolves. Think it went something along the lines " Because i couldnt work with CVS and Adams ". If that is the case with some of the riders, then surely our options are limited who would want to come to ride at the Green. -

Getting ready for the tripe and bu!!$hite whats coming in mondays local rag from Adams or CVS. "This is our biggest meeting of the season against Leicester, its a must win if we are serious about the play-offs.Get there early a bumper crowd expected, gates open at 6,30 for what could be our largest gate of the season.Sure the lads will be up for it to get our season back on track" And some of em actually believe what they say. -
It says something when one of the leading members of the BSPA committee dont know the rules. Doesnt give much hope for the rest of us.

Just dont think Freddie has looked comfortable all season,ok he hasnt exactly set the world on fire away from Monmore, but watching him he just seems to lack the fluency he has had in the past when he was almost untouchable at the Green. Yet on tuesday night in Sweden where he didnt have to turn the bike anywhere near thats required in England,it was like watching the Lindgren of old, especially the pass on Nicki P. Not convinced its the set up,hes been riding long enough over here to know whats required of his bikes.

Think Fred is now finding the tight turns of Monmore just to much hard work. Looking at him in Sweden last night you could hardly believe the transformation from 24 hours earlier.

5th V 4th - Wolves V Swindon - 1/6/2015
Tommy Sweetman replied to dump that clutch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We were always gonna struggle with the declared side at the start of the season. Fred was never going to get anywhere near his 9 point average. Thorrsell was never going to slot in as an heat leader. Musielak would probably see his assessed average drop to about 5. Didnt take advantage of 1st pick in 2nd FTR. The plus sides,PK and Ricky.Blackbird achieved what was expected. All the sides started with a blank canvas at the start of the season,so you dont have to be Einstein to see where the blame lies. -
Wolves V Lakeside Hammers 25/05/15

Dont think the Wolves web site will update this meeting knowing AJ wont be riding.CVS will be hoping fans dont read this site and go along to Monmore expecting to see some close racing between the three super Swedes. Now this aint gonna happen, and its a bit of a no contest.Certainly worth a fraction of the 18 quid entrance fee. -
Wolves V King's Lynn Monday 18th May

Well youve got your breeze.Just took the dog for a stroll up Sedgley Beacon and its very, very windy. Mind, its windy up there, when theres no wind anywhere else. -

Still raining, but blue sky appearing to the west over the Long Mynd. Very little wind,so track prep could be quite awkward for Doc. -

You make it sound as if Lynn cant ride Monmore. Ah,the last time they were here, 37-53.Doesnt look like they cant handle the track to me. And they have virtually the same team riding tonight as they had then. -
Ah well thats saved me £18 quid next monday if that happens.R/R(or perhaps Danny King)then i will attend. These two clowns dont deserve any support, its has if they take our support for granted and couldnt care less about the consequences.
-
Does Adams read the posts on BSF,if he does be interesting to see what decision he takes for the home match with Lynn next monday. Be utter madness to make the same mistake again, especially if it results in a heavy loss at Monmore.
-
Adams has stated many times that he prefers to use a guest when ever he can.He maintains it puts to much pressure on the rest of the side taking an extra ride. Of course it is totally bollock$ and un-founded.But thats the way he is,hes always right and everyone else is always wrong.

Mission impossible now then, especially with Fred not able to take an extra ride. -
Wolves Vs Pirates 04/may/2015
Tommy Sweetman replied to lino wolf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Presume if Starke cant make it back from Rye House in time, then not sure Bates will make it back from Ipswich. Only 15 mins difference in start time(1.45/2.00).Poole obviously dont think its worth taking the gamble with the traffic on a bank holiday monday. Nothing against Nathan Greaves, but hope we can finder a stronger reserve than we did against Swindon. -

Joonas scored six in both the fixtures he rode for Eastbourne at Swindon last year. Josh could also be missing next monday,s meeting with Poole.Hes riding for Sheffield at Ipswich. But that does have a 1.45 start. -

Sorry mate misunderstood.Thought you meant Jacob aspiring to be the new PK on track. Yep,hes getting there with the lingo, but both of them have some way to go before they master it like PK,s brother. You could almost believe Michael Max was born and bred in Quarry Bonk. -

Thing is Wolfsbane, the promotion and a lot of the fans wanted to see Thorssell as the first name on the team sheet. He had a good season last year, but im still not convinced like Adams, that he is going to be the next "Super Swede". Hes still young,so time will tell. -

What Nigel said at the start of his first ride "On his day he can be world class". Which day was that then ?. -
Think all the Wolves supporters on here (except one)probably agree with you Wolfsbane. Trouble is, they are both up one anothers ar$e,and cant see what we want them to see.
-
Neilsen and Stead also both riding for their Prem clubs on Friday. Not sure who gets preference when its LC.
