Which ever way you look at it CVS has still got his fingers in both pies every Monday. So for him there will be more weekly meetings than he had this season.
-
Nigel Pearson says one of the reasons they were able to return to Monmore is because Wolves have only 14 home matches. Nothing said yet about alternative nights,or what other meetings Wolves would be able to fit in.
-
To be fair to Fred he looked more like the rider we used to see week in week out when he brought over brand new equipment in winning the Olympique in Monmore,s final meeting of the season. Lets hope new bikes do the trick, and see a return to the Freddie of old.

British Tv Rights For Sgp & Swc ?
Tommy Sweetman replied to oleoleole's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Been with Sky since the year dot,so if they drop the cricket any time soon(i know they have lost the away series Ashes)im a goner. Interesting to note someone mentioned you can watch the GP,s next day on YouTube, well if thats true i am quite happy to wait 24 hours and watch it on the box via Chromecast. -
The only reason id have PK rather than Wells is for sentimental reasons. Unfortunately, sentiment doesnt win you titles.
-
Unless he comes in on 5 or 5.5 id say hes a goner. Quite pleased with the signing of Kylmakorpi,a bit like Garrity, on their day they can beat most around Monmore.
-
Wolves sign Joonas Kylmakorpi.

Adams has already stated there will be significant changes to the side from last season,(presumably meaning in the main body of the side as well as the reserves)so getting a decent number one will be the main priority. When he mentioned "significant"changes in the local press, that has to put question marks against PK,Ricky and Jacob being part of the 2016 side.
-
It should be the promoters that post the draft list.(If there is one) Its caused total confusion since some of the reserves were announced on Tuesday. One minute Howarth is on a converted P/L average, then the next, hes on his E/L average. Then we are told all the others are on their P/L avereage(and so on) At least last season we could follow it all on a live feed, this time around the promoters might has well have had their hands tied behind their backs, and their mouths sealed with sticky tape.
-
Yep sorry,i was thinking it was Poole. But didnt they have a clause where they could buy him from Workington.
-
Suprised Howarth,s parent club didnt take up the option to protect him, once they knew he would be in the draft. Or perhaps they thought he would only remain a reserve for the first four meetings and not worth taking a chance in finding a more suitable pairing.
-
So what teams protected their riders, and then did Lakeside get first pick of the un-protected riders.?
-
Think its likely it will be six. If its any higher, then we shouldnt sign him.
-
If Wolves sign Joel Andersson, can see him swapping places with Howarth after four meetings.Think this is one of the reasons why Kyle was signed, allowing the Swede to get used to the small Monmore track at reserve.
-
Matt Williamson moves to Monmore from Scunthorpe. Thats our budget blown for 2016 then.
-
Sorry superguest even if we signed a top number 1(eg*Doyle)going again with those four mentioned,we would be back to square one. Probably wouldnt finish any higher than last season tbh. Id have Fred back on his low average.PK?,Jacob and Ricky,i wouldnt want both of them. Of the two id go for Wells.
-
It will easier to get blood out of a stone than to get CVS to change race nights. But on second thoughts, perhaps now he has dropped his involvement with Cradley on Wednesdays nights at Perry Barr,he will have a rethink.
-
Thought hed got a kangaroo stuffed down his shirt at last weeks GP.Woffy needs to give him the telephone number of that personal fittness trainer he uses,or take him on one his bike rides.

Confirmed Elite League Signings 2016
Tommy Sweetman replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Be interesting to know if Wolves have been better off in loan fees for Nicki Pedersen rather than an outright fee. Forget how many seasons hes rode in the UK since we let him go in 2001,but in hindsight we would probably have been better in getting a one off figure for him, because there was virtually zero chance of him ever returning to Monmore. -
Whats happening with Ricky Wells,(doubling up)hes on a decent 5.91. Cant see the promotion discarding both Wells and Thorsell.
-
Think if Poole wanted him to ride on a Wednesday he would do so. Depends on what Holders plans are.But wouldnt rule him out(or anyone tbh)to end up in Dorset.
-
Wasnt it you BWitcher that called for Wolves to sign Doyle. Personally think he would be a great signing.OK his average is a bit of a downer, but we desperately need a new number one,and cant see many around that would be better than Jason.
-
Wouldnt mind the first four, but dont think you will find many Wolves fans that would want Klindt back(unless he could have gates 3 or 4 every meeting). What would Klindts starting average be by the way.
-
Think one of the points you made about Tai not making starts in 2014 is a valid one. He was carrying injuries for a large part of the time, and Monmore being a small technical track does put a lot of strain on the body to carry out some of the manoeuvres. Probably some other factors involved in his poor season, but if i remember right, that particular season Tai,s gating ability did really let him down big time.
